We have a senior dog who requires a lot of special attention and care, especially in regards to medication and allergies, as well as very frequent bathroom breaks. Elizabeth sent us multiple updates and photos throughout the day and regularly informed us of their schedule. They stuck to our routine and ensured a very happy pup! They even went out of their way to water our plants and wash our sheets without us asking. So extremely kind and caring, couldn't think of anyone better to watch our dog while we were away!”

About: I have been working as a veterinary assistant for 18 years and have done pet sitting and dog walking for 16 years. I have loved animals since i was a little girl. I can schedule walks for earlier in the morning or when the sun is going down. Since it's to hot to go during the day I have a fenced in back yard. I can't board animals at my house. But i can take animals on walks, drop ins and over nights depending on where the place is.

About: Hi! Ive owned two very sweet pitbulls and grew up around dogs and cats my whole life. i currently live with my girlfriend and her two sweet cats. i have access to transportation and am very reliable and easy going. im a very loving and gentle person with a soft spot for animals, and id love to take great care of yours. I’m in college online so i have plenty of free time available, and i care for my girlfriends cats daily while she’s at work. =] i have experience with all breeds and temperaments, and can easily walk large, strong dogs. i trained and played with all the dogs in my house growing up and was trusted with my neighbor’s dogs and home often as a teenager.

About: For the last 8+ years I have worked in dog kennels, boarding, training and shelter environments. I am focusing on gaining my trainer and/or handler certificate as well as animal CPR care. I am a professional dog walker so it's more than just a side gig for me; I take your dog's health, happiness and safety seriously. My visit to your pets will vary on their needs from just a potty break or feeding to an hour long hike. I am very detail oriented when it comes to communicating what services I have done from what meals or treats given, bowel movements and behavioral updates. I have experience with newborn puppies, elderly pups and reactive dogs. I may suggest a different walking harness or basic training methods if I feel it would be better for your pup; if I feel like I can't safely handle your dog I will do my best to help find a better fit. I am able to take up to 4 dogs in my car if all fit and get along. I love taking them out for hikes or parks but never off leash. I prefer visits no earlier than 8am or later than 6pm, but am willing to work with special requests. Currently serving the San Fernando Valley areas; Burbank, Pasadena, Sierra Madre, Alhambra, Van Nuys, Sun Valley, etc. I currently have a rather open schedule for house visits, potty breaks, play visits, hikes and walks. I can not house any pets in my home but am available for in home pet sittings. I live in Burbank so can go about 20 miles radius depending on the care request. I try to stick with your usual daily schedule to help ease your pet's stress while you're away. I stay with any training requirements and diet restrictions. The only times I leave the home are for other pet care needed around town. I understand how stressful it is finding a new pet care friend and I value your trust more than anything. (Yes I will bring in your mail and packages of course!) I communicate daily with updated photos and texts. All I need is a place to work with reliable high speed WiFi, in a clean, comfortable, quiet space without cameras or audio recording. . I can feed and take the dog(s) out to potty in the morning before starting work and I can take the dog(s) on a potty break midday. . Disclaimer: I reserve the right to leave to get food and basic necessities during a house sit at any point. I also reserve the right to leave for 4-6 hours during the day. . Constant Care: Pets requiring constant care will be considered on a case-by-case basis and will be subject to additional fees depending on the pets specific needs. I consider a pet to need constant care if the pet: (1) cannot be left for 4 hours at a time and/or (2) will need supervision or attention during 8 hours overnight (sleep time for me) or during the day while I work. In-person Meet & Greets are required prior to all services for new clients. I need to meet the pet(s) and assess temperament. . For dogs I want to go on a walk with the dogs and make sure the leashes, collars and equipment used to walk the pet is in good condition and the pet cannot slip out of the equipment. I want to see the typical walk environment and assess potential safety hazards (coyotes, aggressive dogs behind flimsy fences, debris in the area, etc.) and logistical issues (elevators, stairs, parking). . For all pets the in-person Meet & Greet will also allow me to assess the escape risks for pets and options for minimizing these risks. . The Meet & Greet will also allow you the opportunity to meet me in person, ask me questions and see me interact with your pet. Entrusting your pet and your home to a stranger is a very important decision for you and it should be taken seriously. If for some reason you do feel comfortable with me watching your pets or staying in your house after the Meet & Greet, you should meet with another sitter and find one that matches your needs. . Miscellaneous: I do not plan to bring any people or pets (other than the ones you are asking me to watch) into your home while I pet sit. . Disclaimer: I reserve the right to refuse the sit if after the Meet and Greet I am not comfortable with the situation. While I have experience with aggressive dogs and cats, my overnight sit rate is for social/well-adjusted animals. Animals in need of behavioral modification or that pose a safety risk to myself or others should be boarded at a facility that is geared towards aggressive animals. Similarly, while I have experience caring for animals post surgery or animals experiencing acute medical conditions, my overnight rate is for healthy animals and/or animals with well-controlled chronic conditions. Medically fragile animals should be boarded at a veterinary facility with 24/7 staffing.
