Christine was warm, thorough, and welcoming at our meet and greet. Easing any of our concerns and giving us a run through of a typical day. Drop off was quick and easy- Axel immediately felt at home! The updates were frequent with lots of happy puppy pictures from playing with the other dogs, numerous games of ball and snuggling in his bed. Our pup can even be a finicky eater and they were kind to try different treats to entice him to eat. Upon pickup Axel was the most calm I’ve ever see him after a time away from us. “Ana and Mitchell were incredibly caring with Sophie. I needed a last-minute sitter for Sophie, who isn’t used to being home alone yet at 5 months, and they were amazing. What I love about them is that someone is always home and they only take one dog at a time. They were quick to schedule a meet-and-greet and were very welcoming. Sophie got to meet their dog, Ellie, and they got along instantly. Ana and Mitchell were flexible, accommodating, and asked thoughtful questions to make sure Sophie’s needs were met. We set up a short doggy date for a couple of hours, and it went perfectly- Sophie didn’t even notice we had left! Since leaving Sophie is new for us, we appreciated the frequent updates and their respect for her schedule. She came home happy and content, and it was clear she had a great time. Sophie will definitely be back soon. About: I have a 9 year old lab mix at home in Seattle I’ve raised since she was a puppy. Over this past summer I volunteered at my local shelter every week helping out the shelter dogs and cats. I am currently available for boarding all days of the week as I am home full time. I am not employed at the moment and my boyfriend Hans works from home so we’ll always be home for your fur baby. That means we are able to provide constant care (3-4hrs away from the pet at most). We have a gated driveway and our yard is completely fenced. It’s a half acre fenced on a 2.5 acre lot. Tons of space for the dog to roam! We don’t have any pets right now.

About: I've never really taken care of dogs, other than pet sit for friends and family but I have a dog and 2 cats! They are my everything and I'll care for yours like I care for mine. I work until 7 pm on Monday-Thursday and work from home on Fridays, usually will just have meetings until 2 then I am free. Also free on the weekends! I will take dogs on a long or short walk, whatever they're used to and can handle. i can also hike with dogs if that's what they like to do. For cats, I play with them with their toys or cuddle with them if they're not into playing.

I also have plenty of toys, treats, and cardboard scratchers! My parents and I will be available to take care of your pets full-time! My family (5) is also available to take care of the pets most of the time! If you do not want your pet/pets to interact with other pets, I can separate them upstairs and downstairs. At least one person will be available upstairs and downstairs so the pets are not left alone! Our condominium complex has two doors/gates (front and back) . I look forward to sitting your pets!

Christine was warm, thorough, and welcoming at our meet and greet. Easing any of our concerns and giving us a run through of a typical day. Drop off was quick and easy- Axel immediately felt at home! The updates were frequent with lots of happy puppy pictures from playing with the other dogs, numerous games of ball and snuggling in his bed. Our pup can even be a finicky eater and they were kind to try different treats to entice him to eat. Upon pickup Axel was the most calm I’ve ever see him after a time away from us. All this to say- Axel would be thrilled to go back! We highly recommend Buddy’s Retreat.”
“Cindy and Hans were absolutely incredible with our dog, Cooper. From the moment we picked him up, it was clear he had completely fallen head over heels for Cindy… he followed her everywhere like her little shadow! It honestly warmed my heart to see how comfortable and happy he was with them. They treated Cooper like he was their own, and it showed in every way. When it was time to go home, I swear he looked a little sad to leave because he loved being with Cindy and Hans so much! As a dog parent, there is nothing better than knowing your pup is not just cared for, but truly loved while you’re away. We feel so lucky to have found Cindy and Hans. This was our first time leaving our puppy Pepe (he's just about 6 months) and our first time using Rover.
