“Ninon was so so amazing and sweet to our doggy he felt so safe with her he fell asleep on her arm! She updated us regularly and took him on a long walk. Highly recommended and I will definitely be booking her again ❤️”

“So communicative. Even helped clean my house without me asking just to make the environment nicer for my pets. 10/10. Such a doll and my animals loved her. She was consistent with walks and lots of love. She also took lots of photos!!”

“LaTamarra is the best. She’s articulate and professional and she loves on and takes care of my boy Jeffrey as she would her own. Jeffrey loves her. Also she’s on point with the updates and photos - amazing photos!”

“Neha did such a wonderful job. She gave me frequent updates and sent lots of pictures, so I could see how things were going. She followed all my requests and was super attentive to the pups. Best of all, my dogs took to her right away and seemed to really enjoy her company. I highly recommend Neha. I know we will be using her again.”

“This is the second time Katherine housesat for our dog and she was great! Our dog is anxious and reactive to strangers so we had Katherine come for a few drop ins beforehand so our dog could get used to her. She was very patient with him and got him to trust her. During her housesit, she sent us very frequent updates and communicated well. She left our apartment very organized and even washed the bedsheets she used! Would definitely recommend and book her again.”

About: I’ve taken care of all kinds of animals from a young age, dogs being my absolute favorite! While I started pet sitting occasionally for friends and family, last summer this part-time business started to boom! I had the opportunity to meet so many amazing new dogs, learned so many new things and really fell in love with pet sitting! I am currently working in a very flexible part-time position, so I have plenty of time and energy to be putting into pet sitting, walking, or just hanging out! Without a completely fenced in yard, I am more comfortable keeping the pets on leash at all times when outside of the home. With some exceptions including parks, dog parks, and safe fenced in areas, with approval and guidance from the client of course!
“Corey was great! He took care of our babies so well. Got lots of pictures of the snuggles, updates throughout our visit, and great communication. Will definitely be booking him again!”

“I always come home to calm and happy cats. Alex has beautiful energy and my cats chose them as their sitter and friend. Thank you for being their angel. :)”

About: I’ve taken care of pets for as long as I can remember. In recent years, I lived with pets and helped roommates take care of their dogs and cats. I also have lots of experience pet sitting. From quick walks to overnight care, I have a lot of experience with all fur babies. I love to walk and would love to take your dog on a nice long walk whenever they need it! I grew up with animals: cats, dogs, even some lizards and frogs. I can’t wait to meet your animals!! I have a flexible work from home schedule so I make my own hours. I make sure to put the needs of the pets first and make sure they are well taken care of. I have a fenced in yard that a small dog would enjoy running around. I live in a quiet, safe neighborhood, perfect for walking around with the pups. I am also happy to come to your house to look after your pets if they are more comfortable in their own space.
“I had Jacqueline stay with my baby Reggie over the weekend while I was out of town. I couldn’t recommend her enough. She really went above and beyond for Reggie with the questions she asked and long walks. Reggie also really seemed to like her and was comfortable. I also really trust her in my home while I’m gone. Highly recommend everyone book Jacqueline!”

About: Ever since my sister adopted her angel dog in college, I have been vying to go anywhere and do anything to hang w her. Ive never met a fur baby I didn’t love. I have quite a bit of experience in elder dog care and maintaining medication and diet. I’m also good at keeping up with training and other behavioral habits. I am new to Los Angeles, but not new to animal care. I work as a freelancer, so I have plenty of day time to offer in helping relieve your pup and stretch their legs. Always happy giving affection or putting them to work, depending on their needs. I’m not allowed to take pets into my home at the moment, but happy to spend time or overnight at someone else’s in helping an animal.

About: Hi pet guardians, I’m Tauri. I have extensive dog care experience, including for large working breeds (e.g. Dobermans and German Shepherds). . I’ve walked and watched dogs from 5lbs to 130 pounds. I’m comfortable administering oral medicine and watching multiple dogs and other pets - cats, bunnies, birds, etc. . I have experience with dogs who have separation anxiety and I am open to a constant care option on a case-by-case basis (at a higher rate). . I've completed Michael Shikashio’s Aggression in Dogs Master Course, and I'm enrolled in Susan Clothier’s Treat Retreat course, which is geared towards helping dogs who are nervous interacting with people. . I've raised many puppies. I am willing to do walks and drop-ins for puppies. I am open to overnight sits for puppies on a case-by-case basis. Currently, I work remotely, which makes house-sitting possible. . My typical weekday involves working on my computer for 10 hours. I start work between 7am and 9am. I end the day between 5pm and 7pm. I typically don't work weekends or holidays. . On weekdays, I can start a house sit in the evening starting at 7pm or later. If you need the house sit to start earlier than 7pm on a non-holiday weekday I will consider those requests on a case-by-case basis. I can feed and take the dog(s) out to potty in the morning before starting work and I can take the dog(s) on a potty break midday. On weekends, I usually can start the sit earlier than 7pm. . During the week: I am typically not available for walks or drop-in appointments before 7pm. Weekends and holidays: On weekends and holidays I typically can accommodate walks and drop-in appointments. . Disclaimer: I reserve the right to leave to get food and basic necessities during a house sit at any point. I also reserve the right to leave for 4-6 hours during the day. . Constant Care: Pets requiring constant care will be considered on a case-by-case basis and will be subject to additional fees depending on the pets specific needs. I consider a pet to need constant care if the pet: (1) cannot be left for 4 hours at a time and/or (2) will need supervision or attention during 8 hours overnight (sleep time for me) or during the day while I work. In-person Meet & Greets are required prior to all services for new clients. I need to meet the pet(s) and assess temperament. . For dogs I want to go on a walk with the dogs and make sure the leashes, collars and equipment used to walk the pet is in good condition and the pet cannot slip out of the equipment. I want to see the typical walk environment and assess potential safety hazards (coyotes, aggressive dogs behind flimsy fences, debris in the area, etc.) and logistical issues (elevators, stairs, parking). . For all pets the in-person Meet & Greet will also allow me to assess the escape risks for pets and options for minimizing these risks. . The Meet & Greet will also allow you the opportunity to meet me in person, ask me questions and see me interact with your pet. Entrusting your pet and your home to a stranger is a very important decision for you and it should be taken seriously. If for some reason you do feel comfortable with me watching your pets or staying in your house after the Meet & Greet, you should meet with another sitter and find one that matches your needs. . Miscellaneous: I do not plan to bring any people or pets (other than the ones you are asking me to watch) into your home while I pet sit. . Disclaimer: I reserve the right to refuse the sit if after the Meet and Greet I am not comfortable with the situation. While I have experience with aggressive dogs and cats, my overnight sit rate is for social/well-adjusted animals. Animals in need of behavioral modification or that pose a safety risk to myself or others should be boarded at a facility that is geared towards aggressive animals. Similarly, while I have experience caring for animals post surgery or animals experiencing acute medical conditions, my overnight rate is for healthy animals and/or animals with well-controlled chronic conditions. Medically fragile animals should be boarded at a veterinary facility with 24/7 staffing.
“TJ was phenomenal!! I’ve used rover a few times and have not had the best experiences, so TJ was a breath of fresh air. When he came by beforehand to meet my pets, he was taking notes, which really put me at ease that they would be taken care of well. He sent photos and updates throughout my trip, so I was able to enjoy my time away not worry about my animals. Lastly, he left my home spotless, even did the dishes and washed the bedding and towels! I almost didn’t want to leave a review because I don’t want him to get too busy, but he deserves it! Thanks TJ!”

“We are so incredibly grateful to Alisa for taking such wonderful care of our three pets while we were away. She was extremely responsive, reliable, and handled everything with great independence, which gave us real peace of mind. What impressed us the most is that even our very shy kitten, who usually keeps her distance, slowly warmed up to Alisa and even approached her — something that truly means a lot to us. We absolutely recommend Alisa without hesitation. Thank you again for everything!”

Glendale pet parents share their Rover experiences
Katherine was wonderful! She was prompt and communicative and easy going. Our puppy is not the easiest (he’s young and a bit of a land shark), but Katherine was great at keeping him engaged and distracting him if he was getting too energetic. Will definitely be using her again!
