I have been dog sitting formally for about 15 years now, since my grandparents allowed me to take care of their dogs while they vacationed. Even prior to that, I was the neighborhood pet sitter. I love animals and I would have done it for free as a child (before I had student loans to pay) but my childlike passion is still present. I have watched dogs and cats of various size, breed, number, energy level, and with different special needs. I am a cat mom of two adult boys, who I treat as my children.
