“Shay is the best cat sitter and house sitter anyone could ask for. My husband and I traveled for 9 days for our destination wedding. Before the trip, we were so worried about one of our cats being sick and might have ER situation anytime. So we asked Shay to drop in visit to pill the cat everyday for 9 days, and sleepover every night. Shay was not only on time everyday but also made each pilling comfortable for the cat. Besides taking care of the sick cat, Shay made sure our two cats were taken good care of all around! 🐱💕 Shay also makes the most detailed report cards, every time when we receive her report cards, it feels like we are just right by our cats. About: I love to take long walks in the Hills and flats of LA everyday. Los Feliz, Franklin Hills, Bronson Cyn, Griffith Park, Beachwood Cyn, Barnsdall Park, Runyon Cyn are some of my favorites. If you want me to walk in any other neighborhood, that's perfectly fine. I'm very familiar with and have walked miles and miles of beautiful LA neighborhoods for years. It's always better with a furry friend. I've been a furry friend mom all of my life. I've pet sit and walked dogs for friends and professionally in LA and in Chile for years. I grew up in a houseful of rescue animals. My mom worked for a vet and couldn't stand the thought of euphanasia so she would bring home hurt or abandoned animals to nurse them back to health and find homes for them, or in wild animal cases she would release them back into the wild. We had dogs, cats, birds, squirrels, ducks, rabbits and even frogs! I'm also part of an animal rescue group and have been a foster home. We were able to find forever homes for so many abandoned and street cats and dogs. I'm bilingual with my second language being Spanish. I live in Beachwood Canyon where there are many wonderful roads to walk and socialize. I currently don't have dogs but I've had many in my lifetime and all of them were rescues. I currently have 4 cats that we recently moved back with us from Chile. No friend left behind! One is completely blind since he was a baby. His name is Messi. 🐾 We walk for miles everyday all around the Hollywood, Los Feliz, Beachwood , Bronson and Runyon Cyn areas. Hollywood Blvd is fun too when there's not so many people. Early in the morning and early evenings are best for paws in the summer 🐾☺️ We can bring treats and water and a favorite toy. If you like dog parks we can do that too!

“Amazing care for our two pups!! Elena was super responsive and understanding, even for our last-minute request. We needed doggy day care while we visited Universal Studios, as our hotel didn’t allow dogs to be left unattended in the room. We road-tripped down from Seattle (with our 2 dogs & 2 kiddos) and camped along the way, which left us a little frazzled and haggard... Elena was very empathetic and caring, despite my lack of proper research, planning, and punctuality.. lol Probably should’ve looked into things a bit more in-depth about the hotel pet policy beforehand, but I am incredibly grateful that Elena was able to take the pups while we visited the parks for a couple days. She was very tolerant, observant, and nurturing with our two pets, and I think they had a great time… even though they aren’t the best-trained dogs. We have a 4-year-old sassy chihuahua-heeler mix, and a 1.25-year-old Malinois-cattle dog mix. They are sweet girls, but have a strange dynamic. Elena took them in stride and handled them with care, as if they were her own. 10/10!! Couldn’t have asked for a better pet-sitter in our time of need. Thank you so much, Elena!!”

𝐉𝐀𝐊𝐄: I have lived with dogs, cats, and rabbits since I was born and have spent the majority of my upbringing caring for an eclectic spread of farmyard animals including horses, goats, chickens, tortoises, and more. I have birthed goats, bottle fed kittens and piglets, and pulled a chicken bone from more than one puppy's throat. I can confidently administer a wide array of medicines that your pet may need, including eye and ear drops, oral syringes, and topical ointments, and can ensure that all of their pills get down. I also do all of our own dogs' bathing and grooming! 𝐇𝐀𝐋𝐄𝐘: I have also spent the majority of my life with many different animals including hermit crabs, birds, hamsters, bunnies, lizards, snakes, and many cats and dogs! I have a background in rescue work as a Foster Coordinator for a large rescue organization back where I'm from, New York. It has always been my passion to protect and care for animals, and you can rest assured your pets will be safe and loved here with us. I am available 24/7 for your pet care needs, and very rarely leave the house even for a few minutes while my pet guests are here! If for any reason we do need to go for a drive, we have a big car with no back seats, but instead a giant dog bed, set up for trips around town and transport as needed. Our home and lives are perfectly set up to accommodate your furry friends, and we can't wait to host you! 𝐒𝐂𝐇𝐄𝐃𝐔𝐋𝐄: Haley is available full time for pet sitting services while Jake joins in on the weekends after working in office during the week! We're typically an early-to-rise, early-to-sleep household, but we can always be flexible with pick-ups and drop-off as needed, as well as any extensions that may come up. And, of course, there will always be time for pictures and updates throughout the day! While we will absolutely ensure that all guests get the most outdoor playtime and indoor attention possible at all times, depending on the volume of guests in the home and the timing of the given day, walks are not guaranteed unless otherwise directly arranged. 𝐓𝐇𝐄 𝐒𝐏𝐀𝐂𝐄: Most of our time will likely be spent at home, but with plenty of access to the fresh air and sunshine of the fenced backyard. The yard is on a small hillside, with plenty of climbing space for an adventurous pup to explore, as well as ample flat land just outside the door for our more indoor-oriented guests to pop out for a quick 'business' trip. Dogs will always be accompanied and supervised while outdoors. 𝐒𝐋𝐄𝐄𝐏𝐈𝐍𝐆 𝐀𝐂𝐂𝐎𝐌𝐌𝐎𝐃𝐀𝐓𝐈𝐎𝐍𝐒: Guests will have full run of the home during the day, and, unless otherwise directed, nights will most likely be spent with everyone, human and animal, together in the master bedroom, wolfpack-style. We are totally fine with animals on furniture but if you prefer they not pick up that habit, please let us know and we will accommodate! There are of course plenty of dog bed options here, but crates or any other specific training requests that you may have are of course welcome as well. *𝗙𝗼𝗿 𝗰𝗹𝗶𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀 𝗹𝗼𝗼𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗼 𝗯𝗼𝗮𝗿𝗱 𝗰𝗮𝘁𝘀: Arrangements can be made to sequester them to the back half of the house, and their own designated room, with minimal disturbance, if needed. 𝐅𝐄𝐄𝐃𝐈𝐍𝐆 𝐒𝐂𝐇𝐄𝐃𝐔𝐋𝐄: Our two pups eat twice daily and have two separate diets that includes supplements, oils and medications. All of this to say: "We are very comfortable with feeding schedules, dietary restrictions, and medication requirements." Just let us know what your pal needs, we'll make sure they get it! **Teeth-brushing for trained/acclimated pets can be arranged as well. 𝐀𝐂𝐂𝐄𝐒𝐒𝐈𝐁𝐈𝐋𝐈𝐓𝐘: There is a flight of stairs from the driveway to the entrance of the home so, if your pup is in their senior years and/or deals with a mobility impairment and requires assistance entering the house, so long as they are of good health and temperament (and ideally below 90lbs), and with your permission, I would be happy to assist in carrying them up and returning them down. I work from home on social media so I have an abundance of free time. I have two roommates that mostly travel so I’m usually in my apartment alone.
