About: A little about me, before the pandemic I walked dogs daily for 3 years for a local dog walking company as a side hustle to acting. The past 6 years I have housesat dogs, boarded dogs, and fed & cared for cats. I am joining Rover to expand back to walking dogs, and to continue feeding cats, boarding and dog sitting. I love animals and enjoy spending time outside and walking. My husband and I do not currently have pets of our own, which allows us to watch friends pets, and now hopefully yours! I have regular clients I walk and care for, and now have the availability to take on more! Whether you need mornings, afternoons, or evenings I am flexible to meet your pets needs. I follow the pet rules of individual clients when in their home. When I am watching pets in my own home they are allowed on the sofas, and the bed. We live in an apartment in a very pet friendly area with optimal choices for walks.

About: I have always loved animals. I grew up with labs in my home and a cat. I had my first pet care job when I was 6 and I would go to my next door neighbor’s to feed and check on their dog and cat since they were frequently out of town. I began dog walking at the age of 12. I have 2 dogs now, a 6 year old puggle and a 1 year old terrier/brussels mix. They love other dogs and are good with cats and would love another playmate. Jack and Rocco would also be happy to just share space in their home. I have cared for them as well as my brothers boxer mix since puppyhood and have experience with walking ,medication administration, bathing, feeding/special diets. I have fostered 2 kittens recently and am comfortable spending time with them as well. I also have 2 turtles and have cared for other types of reptiles. I am currently home full time so I have plenty of time to dedicate to caring for and hanging out with pets. Animals are really what I love and I like being able to put the love into caring for them that I feel from their presence. I live in an apartment with a large patio that my dog loves to spend time on for play and relaxation and also have a section for bathroom use if needed, but they are also taken for walks 3-4 times per day. My little dog sleeps in a kennel, there’s an extra large kennel for another dog or doggie siblings to stay. We love to play in our spacious open front room and soak up sun in our private outdoor area. I live close to Silverlake dog park which I frequent and am happy to take other pets along with my little dog. I can care for cats, dogs, fish, reptiles, rabbits, etc. in my home. I will ask for clear instructions so that the separation is as easy as possible for the pet and owner. I will always make sure that the pet knowing someone is there for them is the highest priority and that individual preferences of animals and owners are valued.

About: I love dogs more than most people, and I love people. If you leave your fur baby with me, they will be treated with so much love and care, they won't even know you're gone. I have an 13 year old Carolina Dog, who is good with other dogs, especially females. His name is Jobin and he's a very smart boy. I work from home, so your baby will have a lot of attention. I am very diligent when it comes to specific instructions when caring for your pet. I am comfortable administering oral medications, and caring for older dogs and dogs with special needs. 𝐉𝐀𝐊𝐄: I have lived with dogs, cats, and rabbits since I was born and have spent the majority of my upbringing caring for an eclectic spread of farmyard animals including horses, goats, chickens, tortoises, and more. I have birthed goats, bottle fed kittens and piglets, and pulled a chicken bone from more than one puppy's throat. I can confidently administer a wide array of medicines that your pet may need, including eye and ear drops, oral syringes, and topical ointments, and can ensure that all of their pills get down. I also do all of our own dogs' bathing and grooming! 𝐇𝐀𝐋𝐄𝐘: I have also spent the majority of my life with many different animals including hermit crabs, birds, hamsters, bunnies, lizards, snakes, and many cats and dogs! I have a background in rescue work as a Foster Coordinator for a large rescue organization back where I'm from, New York. It has always been my passion to protect and care for animals, and you can rest assured your pets will be safe and loved here with us. I am available 24/7 for your pet care needs, and very rarely leave the house even for a few minutes while my pet guests are here! If for any reason we do need to go for a drive, we have a big car with no back seats, but instead a giant dog bed, set up for trips around town and transport as needed. Our home and lives are perfectly set up to accommodate your furry friends, and we can't wait to host you! 𝐒𝐂𝐇𝐄𝐃𝐔𝐋𝐄: Haley is available full time for pet sitting services while Jake joins in on the weekends after working in office during the week! We're typically an early-to-rise, early-to-sleep household, but we can always be flexible with pick-ups and drop-off as needed, as well as any extensions that may come up. And, of course, there will always be time for pictures and updates throughout the day! While we will absolutely ensure that all guests get the most outdoor playtime and indoor attention possible at all times, depending on the volume of guests in the home and the timing of the given day, walks are not guaranteed unless otherwise directly arranged. 𝐓𝐇𝐄 𝐒𝐏𝐀𝐂𝐄: Most of our time will likely be spent at home, but with plenty of access to the fresh air and sunshine of the fenced backyard. The yard is on a small hillside, with plenty of climbing space for an adventurous pup to explore, as well as ample flat land just outside the door for our more indoor-oriented guests to pop out for a quick 'business' trip. Dogs will always be accompanied and supervised while outdoors. 𝐒𝐋𝐄𝐄𝐏𝐈𝐍𝐆 𝐀𝐂𝐂𝐎𝐌𝐌𝐎𝐃𝐀𝐓𝐈𝐎𝐍𝐒: Guests will have full run of the home during the day, and, unless otherwise directed, nights will most likely be spent with everyone, human and animal, together in the master bedroom, wolfpack-style. We are totally fine with animals on furniture but if you prefer they not pick up that habit, please let us know and we will accommodate! There are of course plenty of dog bed options here, but crates or any other specific training requests that you may have are of course welcome as well. *𝗙𝗼𝗿 𝗰𝗹𝗶𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀 𝗹𝗼𝗼𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗼 𝗯𝗼𝗮𝗿𝗱 𝗰𝗮𝘁𝘀: Arrangements can be made to sequester them to the back half of the house, and their own designated room, with minimal disturbance, if needed. 𝐅𝐄𝐄𝐃𝐈𝐍𝐆 𝐒𝐂𝐇𝐄𝐃𝐔𝐋𝐄: Our two pups eat twice daily and have two separate diets that includes supplements, oils and medications. All of this to say: "We are very comfortable with feeding schedules, dietary restrictions, and medication requirements." Just let us know what your pal needs, we'll make sure they get it! **Teeth-brushing for trained/acclimated pets can be arranged as well. 𝐀𝐂𝐂𝐄𝐒𝐒𝐈𝐁𝐈𝐋𝐈𝐓𝐘: There is a flight of stairs from the driveway to the entrance of the home so, if your pup is in their senior years and/or deals with a mobility impairment and requires assistance entering the house, so long as they are of good health and temperament (and ideally below 90lbs), and with your permission, I would be happy to assist in carrying them up and returning them down. About: I’ve grown up around dogs my whole life whether my own or my neighbors. I would be oh so happy to be able to care for you doggy child! I work from home on social media so I have an abundance of free time. I have two roommates that mostly travel so I’m usually in my apartment alone. I have a roof top and plenty of room to run for your doggy. The dog will only access the roof with my surveillance of course.

About: i have the sweetest yellow lab who helps me care for all the fosters/rover friends! i’ve cared for a range of pups (bottle babies, young pups, senior dogs, etc.) sitting doesn’t require me to change my routine since i also have a dog and am pretty flexible. i work from home and don’t leave for long periods of time shared fenced yard in my apt — i don’t really take my dog to the dog park… you never know. walks around the block/hikes preferred!

About: Hi!! I’m Shary :) I’ve been helping with pet care and dog check ins since I was super young, mostly for neighbors, family friends, and people around my community. Over the past few years especially, I’ve done a lot more house/dog sitting on TrustedHouseSitters and staying with pets while their owners travel. :) I’m comfortable with walks, feeding routines, litter boxes, medications, watering plants, cleaning up after pets, and keeping animals company so they don’t feel stressed or lonely while their person is away. I have a lot of experience with anxious/reactive cats and dogs. I’m patient with animals that need a little extra time to warm up. I love getting to know animals and all their weird little personalities. I’m the type to build my day around the pets I’m caring for instead of just treating it like a quick stop in. Whether your dog wants a long walk and attention all day or your cat just wants someone calm around the house, I’m good at adjusting to different routines and energy levels. I know leaving your pets with someone else can feel stressful and scary, so I always try to make things feel really calm, safe, and easy for both the pets and the owners too :) Can’t wait to meet you and your fur baby!! Being outside is already a big part of my daily routine, so dog walking fits naturally into my day. I enjoy going on walks, spending time outdoors. I always try to keep things feeling normal and low stress for them while their owner is away. I pay close attention to each pet’s personality and routine because every animal is different. Some pets want nonstop attention and playtime, while others just want someone calm nearby so they can feel safe and relaxed. On walks, I stay aware of our surroundings and avoid situations that could maybe make a pet uncomfortable. I’m careful with doors, gates, feeding schedules, and medications if needed.

I am open to being around all animals and have been a devoted cat owner for over a year now. Kittie is very loving and minds her own business when it comes to other animals around. My apartment complex has a private dog park for residents and is less than five minutes from beautiful Echo Park, perfect for walks, exercise, and boarding! I am currently enrolled in college, so my availability would work around a fairly flexible schedule.
