About: I have cared for dogs and cats since I was 10 years old. I was taught that the animals eat first because they can’t speak. I enjoy spending time with animals. They are great company I believe petting an animal can lower your blood pressure. Your pets need extra affection while you’re gone. I’m there for that. I am a retired mom of self-sufficient teenagers. My flexible schedule allows me to do overnights and weekends and multi night care. I look forward to these jobs. I’m experienced with crating. I love some dog walking exercise. I also really enjoy spending time in a backyard as long as it’s fenced in and secure.

I have taken care of family and neighbor pets growing up, and I make sure they're fed, walked, given potty breaks, played with, and cared for whole keeping owners updated. Pet sitting fits well into my routine because I am a college student with flexible schedule availability. I am available on From Monday to Friday after 3pm and the weekends after 12pm. When taking care of pets in your home, I prioritize safety and respect. I carefully follow the given instructions, keep the doors and gates secure, and make sure your pet stays safe and comfortable. I also keep their space clean and send updates for reassurance when you're away.

About: I am new to Rover and would love the opportunity to get to know your pets! I have a genuine love for all animals and treat every pet like they are my own. I’m responsible, attentive, and committed to keeping pets safe, happy, and comfortable. I have grown up owning pets of all ages (cats, dogs, birds, hamsters, fish, etc.) my whole life, and have also helped care for pets for friends and family. I currently have two cats of my own and understand how important it is to make them feel loved and safe. I currently work a remote full-time job, so because I work from home I have a lot of flexibility to dedicate to pet care! I can provide in-home pet care so your pets can stay comfortable in their familiar surroundings, or I can provide daytime care in my home. I will carefully follow their normal routines, feeding schedules, medications, and special instructions. I will also provide frequent outdoor potty breaks and walks.

About: Since 2009, I have had dogs... I absolutely love them (and really all animals)! I cared for my two dogs until their passing at approximately 9 years of age since they were puppies. While in graduate school, I volunteered at the Oakland Animal Shelter for a few months taking care of pigeons, such as feeding them and cleaning their cages. So, if you have some unusual animals- I am open to taking care of them too! I also had a 2 week experience cat sitting for my cousin's senior cat by feeding/giving her water and general watching her. So, I have good experience with taking care of cats too although I have never had a cat personally. At the moment, I have my senior dog, Mr. Beau, an 11 year American Staff Terrier I adopted in 2023 at the shelter. While I was at the Oakland Animal Shelter, staff made it known that senior animals are the most often overlooked animals for adoption and that made me feel sad :( So once I was able to, I made it a mission to adopt a senior pup, and I am so happy and fulfilled with my decision. As with any senior (including humans), they come with special needs, such as different medications, loss of hearing, limited walking, increase in illnesses, etc. My dog has had many complications, but with my great patience with senior pups, I feel confident in taking care of their specific needs! I know what it is like to trust strangers with taking care of your pet- its scary! Mr. Beau has specific senior needs and is picking, so I hope my experience can make you feel more comfortable with choosing me to take care of your pet when you're away! Experience: senior dogs, puppies, cats, birds, or other types of pets. I am open-minded! I was laid off from my job at the end of June, so I while I am applying to full time work, I have time to take care of pets in the meantime to fill my weekly schedule! While I cannot provide pet sitting services at my own home because my dog is not friendly with other dogs (sad face), I am skilled in meeting with my where my clients are at. I love to ask questions about the pet's history, current physical state, quirks, boundaries, etc. so I don't cause unnecessary stress or issues. Depending on the pet's attitudes and boundaries, I am open to playing, walking, or just simply checking in on them. I want to try to make their environment as healthy and safe as possible, so for instance, if its too hot in the house, I'd like to verify with the owner is opening a window or using the air conditioner is okay.

About: I'm a young active college student that used to have a dog. He was very large so I'm very aware of how to handle all types. I truly will work on tending to your needs and being a security guard I'm very good with following directions. I truly loving and playful, I'm not one to disappoint. With that being said I'm truly flexible with dogs needs and everyday care, I will put on active wear if we need to run or walk and I'm a protector, so I would treat them like my very own. My mother has taught me that updates are the most comforting thing so if that's what you need to know your dog is safe a text takes 2 min out of our play time.

I generally keep pets indoors unless the owner specifies that their pet is accustomed to spending time outdoors. Even then, I prefer to keep pets indoors at night to ensure they stay safe, comfortable, and protected from the cold. I provide regular exercise and walks, typically 3–4 times per day depending on the pet’s age, energy level, and needs. I understand that every pet is a beloved member of the family, and I will treat yours as if they were my own, providing attentive care and ensuring they feel loved, secure, and well cared for throughout their stay.

About: I am an experienced dogsitter/walker. Shy or nervous rescue dogs are no problem to me! I can handle any dog big or small, high energy, timid, low energy, giant breeds, etc. I'm currently working one day a week which means that weekdays at any time are highly flexible for me. I am flexible on most Sundays as well. I have a driver's license and personal car so I can drive anywhere needed! (Los Angeles County & Ventura county acceptable) I am willing to housesit, walk, play, feed, give meds, etc.

I am currently the father of 2 fur babies, a German Shepherd named Diesel and a Husky named Bella both of which I trained. I have also raised kittens, cats and puppies as well as an elderly diabetic Chihuahua in my family home-so I have senior dog experience and I also know how to give injections and administer medications. I work throughout the day from 7-3:30 PM. I work down the street from my home, so it is very convenient to come to and back from my breaks. I will care for them as if they were my own.
