About: My first pet was a pigeon that I basically raised since they was a little featherless peep. I also thought them to fly! I was 12 years old. Since then, I have worked as a professional pet sitter in Long Beach, CA with a small company (shout out Happy Tails to You) and for Wag! (another app). I have experience working with dogs and cats of all sizes and temperaments. I try to adjust to each pet's personalities. I also adjust to each pet parent's preference and do not mind reading and following your step-by-step instruction for taking care of your pet. I actually prefer a manual as there no one who knows your pet more than you! When I am not dog sitting, I am working with adults and kids with developmental disabilities as a behavior consultant. AND when I am not working, I am hanging out my two cats and dog! I am available early mornings (before 9am), afternoons (after 2pm), evenings, and weekends. I work a part-time job that is flexible with my schedule (I work on-site and remotely). When I am in your home, whatever instructions you provide, I will follow. The more details the better, as no one knows your pets more than you. I also try to work with your pet's personality and needs. I don't mind looking after pets with special needs or need extra care.

From a cockapoo to a sheltie to 3 dobermans (not at the same time) and cats, birds too, parakeets, cockatiels, doves (still have those) and a 25-year-old skink (reptile). I tend my daughter's dog, cats & chickens when she's away. I've been retired for a year and am interested in keeping busy. I love cats, dogs, birds, and have always gotten along with animals. I am available almost anytime and able to handle last-minute assignments. I am extremely careful with doors and fences remaining closed so animals can't get loose, aware that loud noises and strange situations sometimes stress dogs and especially cats. About: I’ve been surrounded by dogs my whole life and adopted my own dog at 10 years old. I’ve cared for puppies and seniors and love all of them. **I am a full-time college student so I have limited availability on weekdays and must be able to leave during the day if I am sitting. On weekends I typically have open availability to care for your pet :) There are two dogs in my home who enjoy roaming the backyard and are always going in and out of the doggy door. While my dogs do not go in crates, I can put your dog in their crate if you wish.

About: Chris and I have a lot of love for animals. We both grew up caring for and taking care of our pets. Ever since we moved to our new home, we found ourselves dog sitting for our friends and families, and we thought it would be a good idea to help out our neighbors as well. We only watch one dog family at a time, so your dog will receive all our love and affection. They will be walked two times a day and will be able to play in our backyard under our supervision. You will also receive daily pictures of your dog so you know they are enjoying their vacation. Chris and I both work from home daily and have very flexible schedules. There are also two of us so twice as many eyes and twice as many belly rubs for your dog. We have a small yard that is completely fenced up. We’ve taken care of small and medium size dogs in the backyard and never had a problem. The dogs are never outside unsupervised they spend most of their days with us inside.
