About: Since 2009, I have had dogs... I absolutely love them (and really all animals)! I cared for my two dogs until their passing at approximately 9 years of age since they were puppies. While in graduate school, I volunteered at the Oakland Animal Shelter for a few months taking care of pigeons, such as feeding them and cleaning their cages. So, if you have some unusual animals- I am open to taking care of them too! I also had a 2 week experience cat sitting for my cousin's senior cat by feeding/giving her water and general watching her. So, I have good experience with taking care of cats too although I have never had a cat personally. At the moment, I have my senior dog, Mr. Beau, an 11 year American Staff Terrier I adopted in 2023 at the shelter. While I was at the Oakland Animal Shelter, staff made it known that senior animals are the most often overlooked animals for adoption and that made me feel sad :( So once I was able to, I made it a mission to adopt a senior pup, and I am so happy and fulfilled with my decision. As with any senior (including humans), they come with special needs, such as different medications, loss of hearing, limited walking, increase in illnesses, etc. My dog has had many complications, but with my great patience with senior pups, I feel confident in taking care of their specific needs! I know what it is like to trust strangers with taking care of your pet- its scary! Mr. Beau has specific senior needs and is picking, so I hope my experience can make you feel more comfortable with choosing me to take care of your pet when you're away! Experience: senior dogs, puppies, cats, birds, or other types of pets. I am open-minded! I was laid off from my job at the end of June, so I while I am applying to full time work, I have time to take care of pets in the meantime to fill my weekly schedule! While I cannot provide pet sitting services at my own home because my dog is not friendly with other dogs (sad face), I am skilled in meeting with my where my clients are at. I love to ask questions about the pet's history, current physical state, quirks, boundaries, etc. so I don't cause unnecessary stress or issues. Depending on the pet's attitudes and boundaries, I am open to playing, walking, or just simply checking in on them. I want to try to make their environment as healthy and safe as possible, so for instance, if its too hot in the house, I'd like to verify with the owner is opening a window or using the air conditioner is okay.

About: I have cared for dogs and cats since I was 10 years old. I was taught that the animals eat first because they can’t speak. I enjoy spending time with animals. They are great company I believe petting an animal can lower your blood pressure. Your pets need extra affection while you’re gone. I’m there for that. I am a retired mom of self-sufficient teenagers. My flexible schedule allows me to do overnights and weekends and multi night care. I look forward to these jobs. I’m experienced with crating. I love some dog walking exercise. I also really enjoy spending time in a backyard as long as it’s fenced in and secure.

About: I have grown up with animals of all kinds and have much experience helping friends and family with their fur babies. I currently live with a fur baby and would do anything for her. About: I'm a young active college student that used to have a dog. He was very large so I'm very aware of how to handle all types. I truly will work on tending to your needs and being a security guard I'm very good with following directions. I truly loving and playful, I'm not one to disappoint. With that being said I'm truly flexible with dogs needs and everyday care, I will put on active wear if we need to run or walk and I'm a protector, so I would treat them like my very own. My mother has taught me that updates are the most comforting thing so if that's what you need to know your dog is safe a text takes 2 min out of our play time.

For me, keeping pets safe and happy comes down to two things: sticking to their routines and treating them like my own. I have a lot of experience managing different personalities, medical needs, and schedules, so I know how important consistency is for a pet's peace of mind (and yours!). I have three strictly indoor cats of my own, so I’m used to managing a multi-pet household. I keep up with multiple litter boxes daily, make sure they always have fresh water and dry food, feed them wet food twice a day, and at minimum play with them an hour a day. I regularly look after an older dog who gets two hours of walks a day to keep him active. I make sure he’s fed at 8:00 PM on the dot, and because he loves his crate, I safely tuck him in there whenever I have to step out for a bit so he feels secure. I’m completely comfortable with specialized medical care. One of my regular clients has three cats, and one requires time-sensitive medications via an inhaler and oral syringe. I also have experience with modern pet tech, like automatic litter boxes, and I follow the owner's schedule for cleaning them out and refreshing the automatic water fountain.

If you need to go out of town and you need someone to stay with your dog I can stay with your dog. Or if you need me to come few times a day to take your dog for a walk I can do that as well. If you need me to come and feed your dog due to your are out of town I will do that as well and play with her or him. I will walk your dog for 30 minutes each walk I know how to give meds to your dog and if you are too busy I will pick up and drop off your pet.

About: I’m the proud owner of a Great Dane and chihuahua. I have a spacious home for your pet and all their excitement. I have gained lots of experience over the years working with different breeds of all ages. I have lots of patience and love working with animals. I have 12+ years of experience working with dogs and personally training them. I work alongside my sister Jennifer who is equally passionate about animals. Through volunteering at shelters and providing care for the pets of family and friends we have gained lots of experience. I have lots of patience and love working with animals. I love all animals and hope to be the perfect fit as a potential sitter for your furry baby. :) When caring for pets they are under constant supervision. During your pets time with me I spend a good amount of time helping your fur baby get comfortable with me. This can be one on one playtime outside with them or just sitting inside and giving treats. During your pets time with me I do my best to give them the best experience and allow them to get comfortable so they can have fun. We have a doggy door so dogs can go in when they need. We do a lot of running around and socializing for the pups. On hot days, I sometimes set up a kiddie pool, and when it's cold or rainy, we enjoy relaxing indoors. I welcome pups as early as 6:00 AM and say goodnight around 10:00 PM Monday through Thursday and offer more flexibility Friday - Sunday. Walks can be provided if your dog is okay on a leash and comes with properly fitted gear. For puppies still learning, we help with basic training and building better social skills. I prioritize socialization and believe that having dogs around others enhances their experience. Please disclose if your dog isn't dog-friendly, as this will help ensure a positive environment for everyone. I work from home and do online school so I spend most of my time home. Your pup would be spending most of their day around me and my family. The yards are secure and we don’t leave pups home unattended. Worst case scenario if there were to be an emergency we may have to crate your pup. Please provide a local emergency contact who you entrust to take your pet in the event of any emergency. I work along side my sister Jennifer who is equally passionate as me for animals, she takes charge of grooms and helps me on weekends with caring for pups.
