I was anxious to leave my puppy but we did a meet and greet first and that went very well. The day of actual care, I was still anxious (but that’s me being overprotective) heard my baby bark and I almost turned around but then I heard Mary Ann talking to her and I didn’t hear her bark anymore. They are great company I believe petting an animal can lower your blood pressure. Your pets need extra affection while you’re gone. I’m there for that. About: Since 2009, I have had dogs... I absolutely love them (and really all animals)! I cared for my two dogs until their passing at approximately 9 years of age since they were puppies. While in graduate school, I volunteered at the Oakland Animal Shelter for a few months taking care of pigeons, such as feeding them and cleaning their cages. So, if you have some unusual animals- I am open to taking care of them too! I also had a 2 week experience cat sitting for my cousin's senior cat by feeding/giving her water and general watching her. So, I have good experience with taking care of cats too although I have never had a cat personally. At the moment, I have my senior dog, Mr. Beau, an 11 year American Staff Terrier I adopted in 2023 at the shelter. While I was at the Oakland Animal Shelter, staff made it known that senior animals are the most often overlooked animals for adoption and that made me feel sad :( So once I was able to, I made it a mission to adopt a senior pup, and I am so happy and fulfilled with my decision. I have three strictly indoor cats of my own, so I’m used to managing a multi-pet household. I keep up with multiple litter boxes daily, make sure they always have fresh water and dry food, feed them wet food twice a day, and at minimum play with them an hour a day. I regularly look after an older dog who gets two hours of walks a day to keep him active. I make sure he’s fed at 8:00 PM on the dot, and because he loves his crate, I safely tuck him in there whenever I have to step out for a bit so he feels secure. I’m completely comfortable with specialized medical care. One of my regular clients has three cats, and one requires time-sensitive medications via an inhaler and oral syringe. I also have experience with modern pet tech, like automatic litter boxes, and I follow the owner's schedule for cleaning them out and refreshing the automatic water fountain.

About: I'm a young active college student that used to have a dog. He was very large so I'm very aware of how to handle all types. I truly will work on tending to your needs and being a security guard I'm very good with following directions. I truly loving and playful, I'm not one to disappoint. With that being said I'm truly flexible with dogs needs and everyday care, I will put on active wear if we need to run or walk and I'm a protector, so I would treat them like my very own. My mother has taught me that updates are the most comforting thing so if that's what you need to know your dog is safe a text takes 2 min out of our play time.

About: I've had dogs my entire life, from youthful puppies at just a handful of weeks old to senior dogs, including rescue dogs. From small beagles and jack russell terriers to labrador retrievers and german shorthaired pointers, I've cared and nurtured dogs of all sizes and breeds, as well. I also have a decent sized house with a fenced backyard and fenced pool, plenty of toys to share, and plenty of love for all dogs looking for a home away from home. I'm currently working from home 24/7, so my schedule is extremely accommodating for housing any dog looking for a place to stay, whether it's for a few hours or a couple of nights. If given advance notice, I'd be happy to look for any dogs longer than a week, as well. I do have a lovely dog of my own, who gets along with every dog he's ever met, so whoever needs a play to stay can look forward to a loving, cuddly playmate and friend. When it comes to the human side of things, visiting pets can look forward to many potty breaks, lots of cookies and loves (although if your pet has any dietary restrictions or medication when needed, I can promise those will be respected and adhered to), and plenty of places to run around and lounge around. Rest assured, every dog will be looked after diligently and lovingly, and will receive nothing less than the best of care.
