I have experience caring for senior dogs and dogs with disabilities, so I’m comfortable adjusting activities and providing extra patience and support when needed. “Amazing care for our two pups!! Elena was super responsive and understanding, even for our last-minute request. We needed doggy day care while we visited Universal Studios, as our hotel didn’t allow dogs to be left unattended in the room. We road-tripped down from Seattle (with our 2 dogs & 2 kiddos) and camped along the way, which left us a little frazzled and haggard... Elena was very empathetic and caring, despite my lack of proper research, planning, and punctuality.. lol Probably should’ve looked into things a bit more in-depth about the hotel pet policy beforehand, but I am incredibly grateful that Elena was able to take the pups while we visited the parks for a couple days. She was very tolerant, observant, and nurturing with our two pets, and I think they had a great time… even though they aren’t the best-trained dogs. We have a 4-year-old sassy chihuahua-heeler mix, and a 1.25-year-old Malinois-cattle dog mix. They are sweet girls, but have a strange dynamic. Elena took them in stride and handled them with care, as if they were her own. 10/10!! Couldn’t have asked for a better pet-sitter in our time of need. Thank you so much, Elena!!”

I also had two dogs of my own, my soulmates, who recently passed this year at 15½ and 17 years old. About: As a child I always had dogs and cats at home and was always around farm animals (thank you Minnesota upbringing). In 2018 I moved to LA as a travel nurse and in 2020 I did get my first dog on my own. During my 12hr shifts I depended on daycare sitters while I worked so I have personal experience with the vulnerabilities of leaving your loved one “with a stranger.” But those “strangers” Quickly became my dog and I’s good friends! I want you to know that your requests on how you want your loved one taken care of will be honored and respected. There’s nothing worse or annoying when sitters don’t respect the boundaries you have requested (been there done that). So whatever you and your loved one needs I’m here to provide. I am currently on maternity leave and home all day everyday. This allows me to be very flexible on a day to day basis. My dog Ria likes to get out at least 3x a day whether it’s a walk in the neighborhood or Griffith or a visit to the dog park and she’d love a friend to join her! My husband and I, along with our own precious dog, live in a one story- 3 bedroom house with a fenced in yard. My dog is allowed anywhere and everywhere and yours will be too!

About: Having a dog and 2 cats as a kid was the best childhood! I am home most of the day so I have lots of time to walk and play with your pup! I live with my boyfriend who also loves animals. I have been freelance dog sitting/walking for the last year through friends but looking for more furry friends here!
