About: I’ve had experience caring for both dogs and cats, although mostly for dogs. I’ve done most of the basics including feeding, taking them to potty, walking, and occasionally bathing. Dogs I’ve cared for include smaller breeds such as jack russells and poodles, and some medium-large golden and labrador retrievers. I have a rambunctious 8-year-old golden retriever and cuddly tuxedo cat of my own. I’m currently working my healthcare day job on Mondays through Fridays, and probably would have the occasional weekday evening free to hang out with your fur baby. Best availability would be on the weekends for longer windows to provide care unless otherwise specified, but I do my best to be as flexible as I can. Depending on the client and the type of home setup they have, I would be able to keep your pup/kitty company inside with lots of cuddles (if they’ll allow them) or help release that energy outside with a walk or simply to give them space for the zoomies. We needed doggy day care while we visited Universal Studios, as our hotel didn’t allow dogs to be left unattended in the room. We road-tripped down from Seattle (with our 2 dogs & 2 kiddos) and camped along the way, which left us a little frazzled and haggard... Elena was very empathetic and caring, despite my lack of proper research, planning, and punctuality.. lol Probably should’ve looked into things a bit more in-depth about the hotel pet policy beforehand, but I am incredibly grateful that Elena was able to take the pups while we visited the parks for a couple days. She was very tolerant, observant, and nurturing with our two pets, and I think they had a great time… even though they aren’t the best-trained dogs. We have a 4-year-old sassy chihuahua-heeler mix, and a 1.25-year-old Malinois-cattle dog mix. They are sweet girls, but have a strange dynamic. About: I've been responsible for many pets since I was 13 years old and got my first cat. I am comfortable with all types of dogs and cats. I also have experience in caring for senior pets. I can administer medication, do any post surgery care, recognize behaviors, follow feeding instructions, bathe pets if needed, and clean any kennels/crates. I am also going to Veterinary assistant school in the fall, so your pets will be in good hands that genuinely care about their wellbeing. I'm currently available anytime, day or night. I have now been a rover sitter for 6 years and during my time have met and watched so many different breeds, each with their own quirks and needs. The well being of the dog in my care is the utmost importance. I work from home so I’m almost always here and can easily take the dogs out when they need or provide playtime but in the rare case that I do need to leave the house I either take the pups with me or a family member stays with them while I leave the house. I live in an apartment that’s pretty secure and closed off, I’ve never had any safety issues with the dogs. I grew up with two German Shepherds, raised a Yorkie from age 7 until he passed at 17, and currently care for my 12-year-old dog Richie, who is hyperactive, has anxiety, and manages seizures. After a few folks moved out of town and others had kids which limited travel time, I’m opening up again. My preference would be to begin those same kind of long term care relationships with people who travel often or for larger lengths of time which allows your pup to feel as though they’re always going to a safe and familiar space with friends they know and love playing with. Working from home has allowed me to better care for my own senior pups and also gives me the freedom to spoil your loved one as well. My two friendly senior pups and I enjoy a gated back yard that still sees birds and squirrels enough to entertain them while being safe from any interactions. We have astroturf for back scratching and enjoying the sun, as well as a front yard, quiet cul de sac streets and a giant park for leisurely walks.

About: I’ve been taking care of every size and aged dog since I was 6. I am perfected at playing any animal game and I have a pool your doggo can swim in! I will obviously go in with them.
