As someone who’s self-employed, I’m fortunate to have a flexible schedule that allows me to spend more quality time with the pets in my care. I work from home, which means I’m more available for walks, potty breaks, playtime, cuddles, and check-ins, so your pet gets plenty of attention without spending long hours alone. My goal is to make them feel safe, comfortable, and right at home while you’re away.

I try to keep every pet’s routine as consistent as possible so they feel comfortable while you’re away. I’ll follow any feeding schedules, medication instructions, exercise needs, and preferences you share with me, all while making sure they get plenty of attention and care :) For boarding, I have a friendly, highly trained Aussie Shepherd who does well with other animals. I accept only 1-2 guests at a time to ensure quality care for your loved ones! This also means that pets are always supervised, which means if I need to step away or leave the house, all visitors are safely separated into their own spaces.

Please let me know before booking if your pet has any behavioral concerns, medical needs, or special care requirements, including biting history, leash reactivity, destructive behaviors, separation anxiety, or anything else I should be aware of. As a dog mom myself, my pup’s safety and comfort are extremely important to me, and I appreciate your honesty so I can provide the best care possible. Any undisclosed behavioral issues that result in damage, injury, veterinary expenses, or other costs will be the owner’s responsibility. By booking with me, you agree to this policy. I’m happy to go over your pet’s routine, medications, and special needs ahead of time so they feel as comfortable as possible. All pets staying with me must be fully vaccinated and flea-treated to help keep everyone safe and healthy. :)
A typical day
As an active person, I love to exercise. I'm a great fit for higher energy dogs, or puppies that may need more attention. I have plenty of puzzle games for your dog, as well as lots of toys to keep them entertained!

Hi! I’m an experienced pet sitter with 12+ years of caring for dogs, cats, reptiles, fish, and small animals. I’ve also fostered both dogs and cats, giving me experience with pets of all ages, personalities, and care needs! Since I work from home, I have a flexible schedule and can provide plenty of attention, companionship, walks, playtime, and personalized care while you’re away. I’ll take lots of pictures, too! I’m especially comfortable with active pets thanks to my own well-trained 8-year-old Australian Shepherd, Nylo. Whether your pet needs lots of exercise or simply someone to keep them company, I’ll make sure they feel safe, loved, and well cared for.

Laura watches our cat occasionally when we travel and she's been great. On time, sends lots of photos, and keeps us updated which has made us feel safe with her throughout the years. Highly recommend her to anyone who has a picky cat.
Amazing experience! Laura has watched our dog occasionally when my partner and I go on extended adventures over the past 6 years and we have nothing but good things to say! Our pup has some previous health issues and each time, she was patient and caring. Even through all of that, he gets so excited to see her!
Laura is fantastic. She fostered multiple cats for us throughout 2012-2014 while she was studying full time in college. We used to joke that she would keep them all for herself if she could. When it comes to cats, she's patient and understanding of their needs and unique personalities, which makes her a good match for cats from various backgrounds.
