I grew up with dogs from infancy, and my first dog was a German Shepherd named Pooch who joined our family when I was still a baby. We grew up together, and he remained my best friend until we were both 14, when he crossed the rainbow bridge. Dogs have been a huge part of my life ever since. At 12 years old, I started my own dog walking business and volunteered with local rescues before eventually founding my own nonprofit, Akira Animal Rescue, which focuses on medical dogs and puppies. Growing up, I also cared for dogs of all sizes, breeds, and temperaments — including a rescued street dog, a Pomeranian mix, and a Lhasa Apso. Having both large and small dogs throughout my life helped me understand different energy levels, personalities, and care needs from an early age. I also have extensive medical experience with dogs through both rescue work and personal experience. My senior dog Akira developed liver disease and seizures later in life, and I helped manage his care and medications until he peacefully crossed the rainbow bridge in 2024. Akira inspired my rescue work and deepened my understanding of anxious, reactive, and medically sensitive dogs. When I met him at 7 years old, he struggled with resource guarding and trust issues, but over time he transformed into a calm, loving dog who slept at our feet every night. In December 2023, we adopted two Siberian Husky littermates who are incredibly social, gentle, and loving with other dogs — especially smaller dogs. I also currently have two sweet foster dogs from my rescue who have been in my care long term. They are the only dogs from my rescue in my home — all others are with other fosters. I now provide full-time premium daycare and boarding from my home in Beverly Hills Post Office on a private, gated one-acre property. I previously operated exclusively through referrals and word-of-mouth and am now offering services through Rover. I’m extremely hands-on, attentive, and always present with the dogs in my care. About: I’ve been taking care of dogs since I was a little kiddo. Got my start taking care of the neighborhood dogs . I currently work with dogs on weekly basis . Providing a safe happy place for them to stay is a priority . As well as maintaining their day to day schedule . Like their feeding schedule , walks , administering any medications and more ! I care about safety and happiness and will treat your baby like my own. If your pet stays at my home, they will get to hang out with my dog and my cat! Our cat clementine is great with dogs and mainly keeps to herself. My dog, Theodore is the sweetest boy and loves making new friends! We also have a fenced off courtyard if they need to get the zoomies out! We have comfy clean dog beds, but your fur baby is more than welcome to sleep on the couch or even in bed if they need some cuddles!

Our Mano had a great time with Tyler, who cared for Mano with positive energy, warmth, fun times, and gentle walks on a hot day. Our pup is very friendly to everyone but definitely lets me know when he doesn't like someone. When I picked Mano up after his daycare with Tyler, Mano looked at Tyler with the "where are you going?" face when Tyler started walking away. Then Mano looked outside the car window to look for Tyler, as we were driving away. This tells me Mano had a great time at Tyler's house. Mano came home super tired, which is a sign that Mano and Tyler had a ton of fun. Tyler is a good sitter.
Ceara was absolutely wonderful with us! She took such loving, attentive, and thoughtful care of Anko, playing with her so well and keeping us updated with sweet messages and photos. I could tell Anko completely trusted her and felt so safe and comfortable. Also, she was incredibly flexible with the schedule over the two days to accommodate us, allowing us to fully relax and enjoy our trip even more than planned. Kieran and her pal Marty seemed to be a pawfect match for our beagle, Sully. Kieran was very warm and welcoming and gave Sully a happy place to hang while we were out for the day with family. Her location was conveniently close by, and Kieran was easy to contact and communicate with during the day. We appreciated the photos of Sully and a special meet up with Marty for my grand daughter. I know our girl Sully enjoyed getting a walk in as well. We will definitely call on Kieran again when we are back in CA. Thank you for making our get away a little less worrisome knowing Sully was safe and comfortable.
We had a wonderful experience with Rachel. She is very thoughtful and took the time to communicate with us in advance to understand our dog’s personality, which helped her find the best care approach. They have a lovely backyard where the dogs can play freely, and Lizi got along really well with Nora. This made us feel much more at ease during our long trip. Rachel truly helped ease our anxiety, and we would definitely choose her again in the future.
Stephen and David were absolute angels to our boy! We got so many pictures and videos and just could tell how comfortable Finn was! He was parkouring all over their place & not once did I feel a sense of judgement or annoyance from his crazy playing 😂 they loved on him and told us how sweet he was (which we always love!!) and are just so grateful for them! Will ABSOLUTELY be booking with them again if they’ll have him :) thank you guys so so much!!!
