“I think my dogs like Elaine more than me! Elaine lives down the hall from me and often works from home. A couple of times a week, I will get a text from her asking if she can come get my two dogs so that they can play with her dog, Lulu. She will usually keep them for the afternoon till I get home. When I am home on the weekends, my dogs will RUN to her door and bark till she opens it. Elaine takes care of my dogs as if they were her own and I never have to worry. They always come home tired and happy!”

How I got started 🐕‍🦺🐕🦮: Dogs have been a huge part of my life- I’ve had three dogs in my life and really love spending time with them. Over time I found myself seeking out opportunities to spend more time with them which is how I eventually started dog sitting. I work well with dogs of all kind- from small but fierce to the large and cuddly. Fun fact the most dogs I’ve ever sat were 6, all with different meds and dietary needs. I’m very detail oriented, if not organized, to the max. 😤 What I can do🐾🦮🫧🏡🏃🏻‍♀️ I’ve house and dog sat ever since elementary school! My skill set and service includes but is not limited to walking, playtime, making sure medication is taken (oral, topical, injected), and heavy exercise for high energy pups. I’ve taken care of small to large dogs, some even with special needs! My goal is to make sure your furbaby is taken care and to make your life easier :) What to expect 🏆🤔 I’m very organized and focus on making sure you can feel comfortable leaving your pup in my hands. I always will send photo updates (at least 5 photos a session) and will reach out whenever I have questions! I also strive to provide informative and sometimes entertaining Rover cards. My motto especially for house sitting, is to make you come home to a clean, relaxed space 😌If you have any requests don’t hesitate to ask! If I notice something or have suggestions related to their breed or habits I’ll communicate it as well. I aim to make your pup happy, healthy, and your life easier! Additional Skillset 💉🏆 My skillset includes administering shots (insulin and IV drips) to dogs. I am proficient in: first aid for pets 🩹⛑️, knowledge on pet behavior, and problem solving (Ex: I can help the most pickiest pets eat their meals without any brute force 😤). I also dabble in pet photography 📸 and strive to send you some quality photos- granted I can catch those moments 🥰 Small critters 🦜🐹🐟 If you also have small critters, you’re in luck! I’ve had over 13 finches, and 4 parakeets throughout my life so far. Prices for pets will vary but typically it will range below my cat prices 🫡 If you have under two additional critters, they are free of charge with your base booking! Got a cat? 🐈 Although my expertise is primarily with dogs, I’ve watched several cats and am able to provide the same quality care! From the shy to the cuddly, I dedicate time to make sure they have a purrfect time as well. Beyond feeding and cleaning, I love spending time cuddling and petting your dear cats (should they grace me with this pleasure). You can also expect me to help maintain any litter and hygienic needs for them! Staying at a Hotel? 🧳 Not a problem! I’m more than happy to keep your pup company while you’re away on a visit. From drop ins to staying for the full day I can accommodate your needs. I’ve daysat plenty of pups at hotels, and know how to navigate hotel sitting well :) I keep them entertained and also make sure that no disturbances come to the hotel. Please make sure that parking accommodations are included! Typical Workday 💻 (WFH/Hybrid) I’m currently working from home (normally a hybrid model for work, and can keep your furbaby company. Although I work a desk job, I try to make sure they get the care they need. Update: As of May 4th, I am staying California for an extended period of time and offering my services :) Please note that I do exercise frequently in the evenings for 1-2 hours, 2 times a week. Sometimes I will bring your pup with me if they are permitted. I’m quite flexible with my schedule , but typically do step away for a little bit while I’m doing house sitting. During my stay, I dedicate time in between meetings to make sure they get enrichment and engagement. My speciality? Cuddles, tug-a-war and races in a dog park. Weekends/Holidays 🎄🗓 Note holiday rates are higher due to volume or requests! In the event I’m booked out please don’t hesitate to reach out to see if we can work something out ☺️ Staying Overnight 🏠 Currently I provide overnight stay and drop in services for your furry friends. Prior to any booking, I ask that we host a meet and greet so I may get a lay of the land. Alternatively, video call is always an option! During my stay, I aim to leave as little of a trace as possible- I will keep the spaces I am in tidy and only go into the common areas with your pet! My goal is to make your furry friend as comfortable as possible and will make sure they have as little stress/anxiety. Snacks and More 🦴📸 I love to make sure dogs are taken care of, whether it’s boarding or a drop in visit- I’m committed on giving you peace of mind and your furry friend a good time. I try to send a minimum of 8 photos per session and with your permission to also bring some snacks and treats for the pets that meet me :)

“I have known Michael for several years and he has taken care of my golden retriever many times. He is gentle and caring with her and takes her on great walks -- both on-leash and off-leash. He also has taken care of my friend's pit bull who is a gentle dog but very strong and can present challenges with other aggressive dogs. He is devoted to his own dog and she is treated to lots of walks in the hills and at the beach. I highly recommend Michael for any dog-sitting needs.
