“Dana is wonderful! She does a great job with our young, energetic dog Marty, who can be difficult to manage on a leash. Marty loves Dana and looks forward to his walks with her! He always comes back happy and tired out!”

“I recently hired Seanna for my pup, and I couldn't be happier with the experience! When she dropped him back off, he was in great spirits and seemed really happy. Communication was a breeze, and she was incredibly easy to work with. I definitely feel comfortable leaving my fur baby in her care and will absolutely book her again! Highly recommend!”

“DeShaude took excellent care of our pup while we were gone and kept us updated to let us know how she was doing. It was the longest she'd been by herself so it was great to know she was being well looked after!”

About: Hi! I am an animal lover with a calm, grounding energy that pets instantly gravitate to. I’ve been surrounded by animals my entire life, and caring for them has always felt second nature. I’ve taken care of cats and dogs with all kinds of needs, including: * Pets with anxiety or nervous temperaments * Pets wearing cones * Administering oral medicines * Building trust with shy or older cats * Keeping energetic dogs stimulated * Maintaining routines for multi-pet households I genuinely love talking to animals and treating them like individuals — learning their quirks, their boundaries, and what makes them happy and relaxed. I’m really big on communication, gentle handling, and creating a safe, reliable environment for your pet while you’re away. Your pet won’t just be watched — they’ll be cared for, respected, and given real attention. Pet care fits naturally and easily into my daily life. I work from home, which gives me a lot of flexibility to structure my day around your pet’s needs. Whether your pet needs morning check-ins, mid-day walks, evening feedings, or multiple visits spread throughout the day, I’m able to adjust my schedule and be there consistently. Because I’m home most of the time, I can offer: * Flexible visit windows * Last-minute bookings when you need backup * Extra time with pets who need more attention or reassurance * Reliable routines that match your pet’s normal schedule When I’m caring for pets in a client’s home, I focus on keeping their routine consistent and comfortable. I follow your instructions closely—feeding schedules, walks, playtime, medications, and any specific rules your pet is used to. I adjust my approach to each animal’s personality, whether they’re shy, energetic, or need a gentle, calming presence. I treat your home with respect, keep things clean, and make sure everything is left the way you prefer. Throughout the stay, I send clear updates and photos so you always feel connected and informed. My goal is to make your pet feel safe and cared for, and to give you the peace of mind that everything at home is in good hands while you’re away.
“Emily was delightful. I will be booking her again! I scheduled her to walk my 5-year-old Aussie for 10 days after I had surgery, and I couldn't walk him myself. He can be a handful, especially if another dog barks at him, and he had never been walked by a "stranger". She handled him very well and he returned home happy and tired. Emily was never late, texted me a few minutes before arriving, and sent photos of them along the walk. She is great and I can highly recommend her. Thank you Emily!!”

About: I have my own dogs that I love very much and I will love your dogs the same. I also have helped take care of my friend’s dogs in the past so I have years of experience taking care of dogs. I also have open availability to take care of dogs. I can also support very active dogs which not a lot of people can do. I am currently available for full time pet care. I am mainly focusing on dog sitting at owner’s home or strictly just dog walking for any hours needed. I will dog sit at owner’s home for now. My current living situation will not allow for more dogs. I will gladly spend a few hours at owner’s home if that is needed.
“I am so happy I found Tania on Rover. She was just simply all I could have hoped for when looking for someone to care for my dog. She was very timely on the walks, always sent all the appropriate details and really provided the extra love and attention for my chihuahua. Oh and she takes the most adorable pictures!!!! I was literally saving every pic she took of him while I was away. I will definitely be rebooking with Tania!”

About: I’ve grown up around animals my whole life and learned how to care for pets from a young age. Between my own pets and my grandma’s seven dogs — both big and small — I’m very comfortable around different breeds, sizes, and personalities. I also have cats of my own, so I understand how important patience, attention, and consistency are when caring for animals. I’ve helped with feeding, walks, playtime, cleaning up after pets, and making sure they feel safe and comfortable while their owners are away. As an online college student with a flexible schedule, I’m able to give pets lots of attention, supervision, and care throughout the day. About: I grew up having mostly dogs, but also ended up with three cats. I’ve pet sat for family and friends. But more recently have helped dog sit while my clients were on vacation. They were senior dogs who needed medication and some extra love and care. I’m currently an afternoon nanny 2pm-6pm on Week days. This will allow me to do early mornings and midday visits or walks. I am open to evening visits as well. My weekends are some what flexible, with enough advance notice I am free to visit or petsit if schedule permits. If I’m going to walk a dog, I make sure that arrive promptly, take them for a walk and provide update. I’ll make sure to be respectful of your space and privacy. Same would apply if I’m doing a drop in for a kitty. Make sure your pets are safe and happy. When I sit for a family I usually spend the night, I feed and walk in the morning, go to work in the afternoon. Come back walk and play and do dinner. I’ll make sure to clean up after my visits and respect your home.

“I completely trust Annie with my pup pups. She is so out going and my pups are always spoiled. If your looking for an amazing person who will love your animals like they are hers, look no further! Annie is your person!”

About: Animals have been apart of my life from a very young age and I’m constantly looking for ways to make their lives more playful and fun. Over the years I’ve gained experience caring for senior dogs as I have had several family pets who needed treatment towards end of life. In addition I have also had two dwarf rabbits who were my entire world and required a completely different diet, grooming, and living space which gave me more knowledge on how to better care for pets. I’m currently working full time inside a school district but it’s almost summertime so I’ll have more open availability to keep your dogs company! Currently I can do house sitting primarily on the weekends and pet sitting after 4pm on weekdays. When at a client’s home I will always make sure that doors are securely closed and/or locked to ensure pups will remain safely inside. When on a walk I make sure to notice body language and if it seems to be a stressful situation/route I will take them a different way to provide extra safety. Depending on personality of the dog when house sitting I always keep it at a noise volume that they are use to, and when afraid of loud noises I like to follow your care instructions clearly as to not interfere with their normal routine.

About: I have taken care of friends' dogs and neighbors' dogs a lot growing up. I have had the same dog since I was 6 years old, and he is now 16 years old. I love taking care of him and hanging out with him. I have done a lot of walking dogs as well. I am currently looking for part-time work as a server. I recently graduated from college and am looking to focus on personal health for a few months before looking for full-time jobs. Because of this, my schedule and routine are flexible in a way that accommodates pet care. I live in an apartment with roommates, so I do not currently own pets, and I cannot house pets in my place. With my childhood dog, I would always participate in his feeding, walking, grooming/washing, and taking him on walks. I loved sitting with him and giving him pets as well. I am mainly looking for dog walking, pet sitting, and helping with potty breaks as well.

I can accommodate regular walks as well as last-minute requests. I’m reliable, punctual, and always make sure your dog gets the time, attention, and exercise they need. For dog walking, I prioritize safety at all times. I carefully follow your instructions, use secure leashes, and stay aware of the surroundings during every walk. I am experienced with both small and large dogs, including strong breeds. I make sure your dog feels comfortable, safe, and well cared for every time we are together.
About: Looking for someone to consistently take your doggo(s) or even kitties out for a walk? (I take my cat out with her trustworthy backpack!) Or perhaps someone who can pet-sit and stop by whenever needed, and can send pictures, videos, and updates? I've got you covered and would love to take care of your pets! A little about me: • Animal lover and artist here in Los Angeles • Grew up with shelties, always dreamed of having a cat (and now that I'm older, I have one! More about her below...) • Owner of a rambunctious 3 year old rescue Belgian Malinois / German Shepherd mix, who I've worked heavily with on training. Am happy to also work on training techniques and etiquette with your hound - especially when on walks. • Also have a 15 year old wonderfully grumpy elderly Tortoiseshell / Tabby cat (who's a rescue as well), and am familiar with the curmudgeonly ways of elderly kitties. Thank you for looking, and please don't hesitate to reach out! I'm a freelancer and work remotely, and would love to fit your pets into my daily routine. FOR WALKS: • Daily walks (morning, afternoon, evening) • I can work with you and your dogs' needs on their walks - for instance, if they're displaying anti-social behavior, pull on the leash, or bark. This could be in the form of treats / positive reinforcement, leash training, or a mix of both. • If you use an e-collar for your dog, I also have experience with those and have worked extensively with certified trainers for using one with my own Shepherd. (However, I am not a certified trainer myself so please work with one prior to using the collar, if you have never done so before.) PET-SITTING: • For both kitties and pups, I can come by in the morning, afternoon, and evening if need be. • Food, walks, cuddling, and / or just sitting and being there with your fur babies are all on the table; just let me know - I am here to take good care of your pets and make them feel loved while you're away. If you are in need of someone to stay over with your pet, we can certainly discuss. While I do not offer care for pets at my home (or at least, not YET!), I would love to take good care of YOUR home while also taking care of your pets. This can include: • Mail pick-up • Watering your plants • Emptying the litterbox routinely • Taking photos and sending updates

North Hollywood dog parents share their Rover experiences
Nera can be pretty shy and slow to warm up, so I really appreciate how patient, gentle, and attentive she’s been with her. She has a very calm and caring presence that immediately made me feel comfortable trusting her with my dog. She’s also incredibly responsive, easy to coordinate with, and reliable even on short notice, which has made everything seamless. You can tell she genuinely cares about the dogs she works with, and Nera has responded really well to her because of it. Highly recommend.
