No breed preferences, but I would like to know how friendly/energetic your dog is before working with them! This way I can be attentive to any personality changes while they are with me (ie being unusually withdrawn or unusually hyperactive).
A typical day
I love giving new pets a very gentle greeting when I first meet them, then letting them lead the way as far as how much affection and energy we share. Once they’re comfortable with my presence, I enjoy building their trust in me by providing structure during walks paired with lots of verbal positive reinforcement!

Pet care experience
Over three years experience working as a lead dog handler at a daycare/boarding facility. My #1 priority is always meeting your pet where they are at, reading their cues, and respecting their boundaries - whether that means how much physical affection they’d like, how much exercise they are able to do, or even how hyped up they want to be! I love caring for dogs individually and as a group, and paying close attention to their behaviors is something I do regularly. I know every dog is different and will pay attention to the specificities of your pet, including favorite walking routes and toys.
