About: I grew up in a home with a dog, a cat, birds, fish, and rabbits. Throughout my life, I’ve opened my heart to many a pooch, including a beautiful epileptic Dalmation, a feisty pocket Shih Tzu (that one of my students brought to school in a backpack), an adorably lazy Bijon-Maltese mix who came to stay for a weekend and stayed 10 years -- and most recently a spirited 13 year old Terrier mix that we brought home after his person died unexpectedly. All were loved and doted upon until they crossed the rainbow bridge. The smaller ones vacationed by car, truck, and plane and were with us 24/7. I’ve often cared for my friends' dogs and am known for giving good doggy massages. I’ve also shared my space with an African Sulcata tortoise for the last 17 years. I work from home and have a very flexible schedule. I own a small business that allows me to come and go easily, allowing for long walks and/or lounging around. I have a fenced yard, leashes, bowls, a medium sized dog crate if necessary, lots of healthy snacks and lots of time for walks and doggie massages. In your home, I will care for your special friend as instructed. If your pooch loves toys, we will play, if snoozing is their favorite thing, I will happily sit nearby and chill too.

“These guys take such great care of Asher”

“Carling was wonderful with our puppy. She sent adorable photo updates throughout the day and made him comfortable in a new place. We can’t wait to have her watch our dog as he grows up ❤️”

About: Growing up on a farm, I’ve always been a passionate animal lover who believes each and every one deserves a loving home and the best life possible. I have over 20 years of experience caring for both dogs and cats (among many other animals!) and have taken pet safety and CPR instruction. I also have some experience volunteering with animal rescue, rehabilitation, and fostering. As someone who has owned and cared for senior dogs with medical issues I have a special place in my heart for any animals with special needs. I also have experience with puppies and kittens, and have house trained both. I work from home with a flexible schedule and our house has a good sized fenced in yard for potty breaks so can take them out as often as needed and dogs will rarely be left unattended. I enjoy long walks and hikes, and live close to a park, so every dog under my care who loves walks will enjoy long ones every day. I work from home with a flexible schedule and can generally work around your needs for pick up and drop off. Walks and play time are already a regular part of my schedule with my own pups and would love to include yours too! Your pet’s safety is my number one priority whether they are boarding in my home, or I’m watching them in yours. As someone who has anxiety when my furbabies are being watched by someone, I know how hard being away from them is and strive to give you daily checks ins, or pet camera greetings, so you can see how your pet is doing. I have a fenced in yard that’s extremely secure, and your pets will never be alone out there. I do require a meet and greet so I can learn how to best care for your pet’s individual needs. Above all, my goal is to ensure your pet returns to you happy and safe after a fun vacation.

“Irina met me right on time for dropoff and pickup, was extremely friendly, and kept me updated with plenty of photos throughout the day. I felt completely at ease knowing my dogs were in excellent hands with her. I would totally leave my dogs with her again!”

About: Dogs have been a constant my entire life. I've always owned or been a caretaker to them. I truly prefer their company to humans! Experience administering medications to senior dogs. I work in film and television and it has been terribly slow this year. Going to try this for the summer to see if it's a good fit. I will be home with your pooch all day most days. They'll have access to the fenced yard if I need to run to the store. I have an adorable house with two fenced outdoor areas your pooch will be free to explore. Also live in a great walking neighborhood close to some wonderful trails if your dog is into hiking. Couch potatoes welcome, too!

“So grateful for Therese being able to take Zoe for daycare on semi short notice, very personable with easy and quick communication. Felt very comfortable leaving Zoe with Therese Will definitely be back, thanks again!”

For outdoor relaxation, there’s a 42-inch raised canopy bed that offers generous space for small and medium-sized dogs while creating a cool, shaded retreat on sunny days, and with our secure, fenced yard right off the back door, I feel at ease knowing they can safely frolic and play during their stay. House sitting: I care for your home and pets as if they were my own, creating a secure and comfortable environment in your absence. I follow their regular routine to maintain stability, from feeding and exercise to playtime and affection. I also stay attentive to home security, ensuring doors and windows are properly secured and keeping a watchful eye on the surroundings. Dog walks: Ensuring your dog’s safety and enjoyment during walks is my top priority. I ensure leashes and harnesses are properly fitted to maintain control and prevent potential injuries. By staying alert to traffic, other animals, and environmental hazards, I navigate routes that keep your dog safe and comfortable. Additionally, I monitor weather conditions to adjust the length and timing of walks, avoiding extreme temperatures that could affect your dog’s well-being. Transparent communication: I prioritize transparent communication by providing regular updates on your pets well-being, including photos, to ensure you feel comfortable and informed about their care. You can depend on me to create a safe and affectionate environment, ensuring your pets remain happy, healthy, and comfortable during your absence.

9. Sandra M.
“I've known Sandra M. for 10 years now. She is caring , reliable and responsible. Through the years, I've watched her take the best possible care of 2 adorable dogs .The first dog of hers that I met, was a charmer named Tommy. He had been a stray in need of a good home, and after Sandra gave him one with her, he was healthy and happy and a joy to be around. Her next dog, Fitz, was adopted as an elderly dog whose owner had sadly passed. Sandra took him in and made sure that he got plenty of walks, love and treats in his golden years. When his age made it difficult for him to digest dog food, she made homemade meals of chicken, rice and veggies for him. I would trust Sandra completely with the care of my pets. I know that she will show them the utmost care and look out for their well being to the best of her ability. Highly recommended.”
