Isatu was thoughtful to first preface the stay with a meet and greet with the other dogs under her care, so that my pup would feel comfortable interacting with them during his stay. Her space is closed off and there is ample room for the dogs to play, and my dog was happy and tired after we picked him up. Isatu was so accommodating, especially for our early wakeup call and unexpectedly late pickup. My dog also has a ton of energy and wound up jumping into her small pond a few times, and Isatu even made sure to rinse him off. Thanks for taking him in for the day, Isatu!”

About: Hi! My name's Annie. I grew up with dogs and cats and now have three pets of my own at home, including a senior rotty mix, a wild little chihuahua boy, and a fluffy 17-year-old cat who doesn't look a day over 10. I'm comfortable with all levels and all kinds of care for both species. I'm an avid runner and live about three minutes' walk from Elysian and Echo Parks — perfect for all sorts of dog activities, including more vigorous exercise. I'd happily put in a few miles of running with your pup or take her a hike up and down the hills around Dodger Stadium. A little more about my experience: I've looked after all sorts of dogs since childhood. I'm good with pups that need to stay on leash as well as those that love to bound around and mix it up with others. I love to play with cats and also to respect their boundaries and simply admire them from their preferred distance, as is their royal right. I like to think I'm attuned to what pets and their owners need, and I'd love to help support and care for your fur family, too. And — for housesitting clients — I'm a responsible adult who also has to hire house- and petsitters regularly. I understand and appreciate your trust and always leave any space better than I found it. It's your home! I work from home as a writer and screenwriter, so I'm available all the time for walks and drop-ins! I'm happy to drive across town, too. I listen first to the owner and then to the animal, following all routines and rules and also attending to pets' happiness as if they were my own. I'm really, really good at keeping dogs and cats happy while respecting all guidelines — my goal is repeat business through clean secure, convenient housesits and healthy safe pets!
