About: As an owner of a big, powerful dog I know it can be difficult finding a walker who can handle their size and avoid unsafe situations. So if you have a large breed friend who requires a strong leader, I’d love to take them for a walk, safely! Freelance film maker with a lot of free time. I’m available during the week and on weekends. I have a dog but would walk your dog(s) separately. I have a large friendly dog named Rudi. I can board your dog as long as they can meet beforehand to make sure they get along. I have a large fenced in back yard as well as a good size, private porch area. We live in echo park with plenty of dog friendly areas and parks.
About: ** Dog Walking Information: I offer a premium one-dog-at-a-time walking service, which means your dog receives my FULL attention, care, and supervision throughout the entire walk. I believe dogs are happiest and safest when they're not competing with a group for attention, allowing me to create a more personalized experience and build a genuine connection with each pup. I am also an avid runner and love running around Silverlake Reservoir or Echo Park Lake. If your dog really needs to get energy out, then I am the gal for that. I enjoy taking pups to the Silverlake Dog Park as well, for a nice cool down. Whether your dog prefers a leisurely sniff-filled stroll or a more energetic walk, I'm happy to tailor each outing to their needs and personality. Would love to hear more information about your pup and help make his/her day more enjoyable with a long nature walk!! xo ------------------------------------------------------- ** Overnight Information: I take pride in offering a professional, personable, and premium boarding service, where I board only ONE dog at a time to ensure undivided attention. My home is consistently clean, with a sizable/gated backyard providing a safe, fun and hygienic environment for your furry companion. Working from home also allows me to be fully dedicated to your pet's needs, ensuring a comfortable and personalized experience during their stay. I also come equipped with crates, dog beds, and many dog enrichment toys so even if you can't bring yours, your dog will get the bedding/toy situation he/she needs to feel comfortable and have fun. And as an added security, I place an airtag on your dog's collar for the entire stay for mine and your peace of mind.** What sets me apart from other sitters is my versatile skill set and genuine passion for pets. I have expertise in both training puppies and providing gentle care for seniors, and can cater to a wide range of needs. My commitment to continuous learning means I stay updated on the latest in pet care, ensuring a safe and enriching experience for your furry family members. Whether it's nurturing the boundless energy of a young pup or offering extra patience and comfort to a senior companion, I can provide the specialized care your pets deserve, setting me apart as a well-rounded and devoted pet caregiver. Next to my experience on Rover, I also have over 5 years of experience fostering kittens and dogs. I currently work as a freelance writer from a beautiful home in Echo Park. My home is completely fenced in with ample play area for your fur baby to enjoy. I would love to share my home with your puppo for walks, cuddles, sun bathing, snacking, fetch and water fun! When caring for pets in my own home, I create a safe and comfortable environment that feels like a second home to them. I provide ample playtime, regular exercise, and affection to ensure their physical and emotional needs are met, especially when they are away from mom/dad. I am also keen on maintaining established routines, including feeding schedules and medication if needed, to minimize stress. My home includes a sizable backyard with an enclosed fence and I am also within walking distance of two parks. I also love driving to the Silverlake reservoir and Elysian for midday jaunts!

“Saron is truly amazing, she has such great energy which made Zepp feel extremely comfortable right away. Zepp was so happy to see her after the first time which shows just how much she cared for him on his walks.”

About: Hey! I grew up with dogs in my household, so I’ve had a lot of training and experience with taking care of them. I regularly go for a walk, run or hike with the dogs I watch around Echo Park lake or Elysian park, which is in close proximity to my apartment if they are up for it! I have a decent size apartment for them to explore, but am very careful not to leave items out that could cause any harm. I love cuddling up with pups and look forward to meeting you both! I generally work from home as a freelance creative, and am around most weekends, giving me ample time to play with and walk your pup. I have a decent sized apartment and little patio space where dogs can co-habitat and roam freely. I can crate if necessary as well. I clean regularly and am careful not to leave out items or food that may be chewed on or swallowed.
About: Have taken care of dogs of all types since I was a kid! Neighbors, family and friends have all entrusted me - And I love doing it! I recently left an all consuming corporate job to figure out what I’d like to do next. Right now, I have plenty of time on my hands to show your beloved pets a wonderful holiday away from home! I live in a stand alone, quite tucked away, home. I have a backyard for quick plays but also live in a great neighborhood for lots of walks! The park is also a short walking distance for really having a good time!!
About: I have walked, taken care of, and loved dogs for many years. I have never had one of my own due to my dads allergy but it just made me want to work with them more. I have been tested with neighbors, people via the internet, and friends and family to walk and petsit their dogs for many years. I used to use nextdoor to find gigs but now that I have moved to LA I am giving an app a try! I work from home and set my own schedule so I can walk, play, and give attention to the dog all day. Once I’m off at 5 I don’t have any big commitments so after work is free for me as well. I have a fenced in yard as well as my own room and bathroom so there is plenty of space for the pup to hangout. I also have a car so I can go anywhere I need to go.

About: Experienced pet owner (3 dogs, 3 cats, currently own 1 dog) and dog fosterer between 2016-2018 for multiple organizations! I recently had a stray dog take shelter on my patio, likely not a coincidence, and after a week of coaxing managed to bring her inside my home with crate training (my dog Petunia was a great companion) and get her into rescue! See 3rd photo! I truly love animals and have experience with all sizes, energy levels and even fear based aggression. I administer meds to my dog daily and am extremely specific when it comes to my own dog's care, so I know what it means to be a client with high expectations! I love getting to know and develop bonds with animals and it has always been natural to me. Depending on your dog, my dog Petunia can cohabitate with yours or yours with mine. I have a flexible remote schedule, with more availability on Fridays and Saturdays. Afternoons and evenings during the week work very well for me! I consider any Rover service a delightful respite where I can disconnect amd focus on your pet! I am likely unable to host your pet in my home, but its a possibility, and I will quite happily visit yours! I am very good about making a calm entrance and getting to know each pet "on their level".
“Maegan was awesome! She walked my dog Tofu recently and she did an amazing job with sending me awesome pictures of Tofu on his walk and also a quick summary on how the walk went. She was very responsive with any questions I had and was also flexible with scheduling. I would definitely use her services again in the future!”

“Absolutely thrilled with Jason's dog walking services! We entrusted him with our energetic bull terrier, Drako, and couldn't be happier with the results. Drako is a high-energy breed that thrives on long walks and runs, and Jason consistently delivers. Jason is incredibly dependable, always shows up and ready to go. He clearly has a genuine love for dogs. He's patient, calm, and goes above and beyond to make sure Drako gets the exercise and attention he needs. We especially appreciate that Jason keeps us informed about Drako's walks, providing updates and peace of mind. It's evident that Jason truly cares for our dog, and we recommend him to anyone looking for a reliable and compassionate dog walker. If you want someone who will treat your furry friend like their own, Jason is the perfect choice!”

“i would highly recommend lily for your dog walking services! my dog can get pretty anxious and protective with strangers in my home and lily is very patient and understanding, so my dog already feels more comfortable with lily entering my house and walking her around the neighborhood. she’s very communicative, responsive, and friendly! i’ll definitely continue to hire her to walk my house gremlin :))”

“Ryan has walked my senior dog, Lily, several times now. She is very patient with her as she wants to smell all the things and he’s able to handle her around other dogs even though she’s dog aggressive. I will continue using Ryan whenever I need help and I encourage you to use him as well.”

“KC is such good vibes. Lupe loved him from the start. They walked a long distance in a short time and she came straight to nap after their walk, an epic success. Will definitely hit him up again! Thanks a ton KC!”

“Juanita has been my dog walker for a bi-weekly walk for a few months now & she’s amazing! Always on time, communicative, & great with my dog. Highly recommend her for all of your pet sitting needs!”

About: I grew up with labs, rescue cats, and all kinds of animals, so caring for pets has always been a natural part of my life. My goal is to make sure your dog (or cat) feels comfortable and at ease, allowing their playful personality to shine. I’m punctual, reliable, and I spend extra time playing with pets and meeting their needs. I’ve cared for dozens of friends’ cats and dogs, staying overnight in their homes, boarding pets at mine, or simply stopping by for walks and playtime. I’d love to help keep your fur baby happy while you’re away. 🩷 I work remote as a running coach and have a flexible schedule to accommodate your pets’ needs! If I were house sitting I could work from your home so your pet would get plenty of attention throughout the day. I offer house sitting, drop-in visits and dog walking. When I first meet your dog (or cat) I will let them sniff me and approach me at their own pace. I kneel down to their level and am super patient with the greeting process. If your pet is excitable I will be too! I can match their energy and make sure they feel comfortable and at ease. I also make sure to keep the environment peaceful and quiet, no loud music or noises. Sometimes I’ll sing to them to soothe them. 😂☺️

About: Hello! I grew up with dogs, have had my own dogs, and just love animals all around. I had to put my pup down recently and really miss that regular fur baby interaction. I have ample free time during most days for a lovely neighborhood walk or babysit with your pupper. I can do whatever is your preference really. I’m happy to hang with your doggo for a bit inside your home and also walk them!
Echo Park dog parents share their Rover experiences
MInh was INCREDIBLE. She walked my dog every day for a week and my dog loved her. She sent lots of pictures and updated me on the goings on of the walk and how my dog was doing. She took great care with both my dog and my house and I be hiring her again in the future. Plus she was super kind and had a great energy about her. Thanks Minh!

Ryan is wonderful! Before and during his visits, he was great about communication. He offered to have a meet-n-greet, before we booked, and he truly understands the needs of senior pets. We will definitely be working with Ryan for both of our pets, as long as he's in the biz!

Lily was absolutely wonderful! She was so kind, and my pup immediately took to her. She was very communicative, flexible with scheduling, and made the whole experience feel easy and stress-free. I felt 100% confident having my pup in her care. I’ll definitely be booking with her again!
