About: As an owner of a big, powerful dog I know it can be difficult finding a walker who can handle their size and avoid unsafe situations. So if you have a large breed friend who requires a strong leader, I’d love to take them for a walk, safely! Freelance film maker with a lot of free time. I’m available during the week and on weekends. I have a dog but would walk your dog(s) separately. I have a large friendly dog named Rudi. I can board your dog as long as they can meet beforehand to make sure they get along. I have a large fenced in back yard as well as a good size, private porch area. We live in echo park with plenty of dog friendly areas and parks.

About: I treat every fur baby as if they were my own, keeping their routines, giving them patience, affection, and play, sending regular updates and photos, and making sure they feel safe, loved, and relaxed in their own home while you’re away. I am currently Auntie to all of my close friends pets (cats & dogs), with a variety of personalities. Even though my career in the film industry has lots of gaps where I am at at home, it keeps me traveling for long periods, too much to have an animal-baby of my own at the moment, so I am extra grateful for these connections & housesit for my friends and their animal companions often. I grew up taking care of a sweet mini-dachshund & tortoiseshell cat (& love animals of all shapes all sizes). I am familiar with older animals and administering basic medications. My work is freelance, so my availability changes, but I can be available any day or time with notice to make sure your little ones are well cared for in your absence. I treat every pet as if they were my own, keeping their routines, giving them patience, affection, and play, sending regular updates and photos, and making sure they feel safe, loved, and relaxed in their own home while you’re away.

Laura has been walking my dog weekly for almost a year, and we are so grateful to have her help. She's incredibly reliable, communicative, flexible, and most importantly, treats my senior pup with so much love & care. She's goes above and beyond: she sends photos, a short report after each walk, refills water bowls, makes sure the temperature is OK in the house — you name it. Laura is an essential part of our pup support community and anyone would be so lucky to have her take care of their pet. She loves animals SO much, and was made for this work!

Isatu is such a wonderful loving walker. She works with Rocco and he loves seeing her. They work the neighborhood and he gets to see his dog buddies. Isatu lives nearby and is flexible with scheduling, this works well for all of us. I would highly recommend her. Rover has been a great help with our pet care.

About: Does your dog need lots of exercise? We'll hike the hills of Echo Park and Silverlake. Does your cat need some TLC while you're away? I'll sit with them while they eat and serve up head scratches. Does your dog need to be kept away from eating everything and anything off the street while on walks? I'm your gal. About me: I'm an actor and I work nights, so I have a lot of free time to care for your pet during the day. Why I love caring for pets: I grew up with a golden retriever and cats--the bond I formed with them at a young age created a lifelong love for dogs and cats. I have been walking dogs professionally for 9 years. I also have two cats at home. I’m an actor and I work at night, so I have plenty of free time in the mornings and afternoon for dog walks and cat care. Please let me know about any special needs in your home. I want to help your baby stay comfortable and safe in their home environment.

About: With over 10 years of dog care experience, I provide reliable, loving, and attentive care. I have an 11-year-old Mini Poodle and a 2-year-old terrier mix, so I’m experienced with both senior and high energy dogs. I’ve also been grooming my poodle myself for the past 7 years. I regularly volunteer with a local dog rescue organization. Help with bathing, daily care, park outings, and transporting dogs to adoption events. Keeping dogs happy, comfortable, and safe is what I love most! My Dog Care Routine I start the day by taking the dogs to the park for a fun 30minutes play session. Once we’re back home, it’s breakfast time for dogs, and then a short nap. I give them an extra potty break around noon if they need it. In the afternoon, we play with toys and relax together indoors. Around 5 pm, we head to the park for another 30minutes walk. If needed, I also take them out for a final walk before bedtime to make sure they’re comfortable and happy. I provide a safe, calm, and loving environment where pets feel at home. I currently live in a apartment, and there is a huge park located in 2nd floor in my apartment building.I follow each pet’s routine closely, including feeding times, potty breaks, play, and rest. Daily walks, indoor playtime, and plenty of affection are all part of the care. I keep a clean space, monitor for any signs of stress or discomfort, and give updates to owners for peace of mind. Whether it’s cuddles on the couch or active time in the park, I make sure every pet feels comfortable, happy, and well cared for.

About: I've had many different types of pets in the past, including a pocket quail!!! Playtime is my favorite time, and getting to care for someone else's pet as if it were my own is my pride. I recently moved back to Los Angeles after living in Las Vegas for 5 years. Currently, I am available every day of the week, including weekends. You have a specific time and day I am most likely available. I love going on long walks around the neighborhood, so that will never be a problem. I take care of every animal as if it were my own. No task is too small or big.

About: I grew up with dogs, cats and chickens. When my kids came they turned out to be allergic to many animals, so we were unfortunately not able to have pets. Since both my daughters went off to College I have been traveling a lot. I have been house sitting quite a bit in those last 6 years. Mostly I've taken care of cats and dogs. Including cats and dogs who needed medication and special care (including hospice care). For the last 4 years, I’ve been a full time pet sitter, besides my travels and part time Social Work. Pet care has a central role in my daily routine, but I do book out quickly through different platforms. I love taking care of cats & dogs in their own homes, where they feel most safe and at ease. I can continue their familiar routine, while the pet owners are traveling or working. I enjoy getting to know them, figure them out, and earning their love and trust. In their own tempo. I’ve worked with many rescued animals with anxiety and / or special needs. Together we always figure it out.

About: I’ve been around animals my whole life and genuinely love caring for them. I grew up with cats, chickens, and both big and small dogs (including pit bulls, Great Pyrenees, and Pekingese) so I’m comfortable with a wide range of personalities, sizes, and energy levels. I also volunteered for eight years with the Oregon Humane Society, where I completed specialized trainings and earned a “Red Card” certification to work with the most skittish and traumatized animals. In that role, I cared for shy dogs and cats, helped with dog training, and assisted in evaluating therapy animals. These experiences taught me how to read animal behavior, move at an animal’s pace, and build trust with pets who need extra patience and care. Whether your pet is energetic, anxious, or just wants a companion while you’re away, I’m attentive, calm, and committed to making them feel safe, comfortable, and loved. :) I’m currently working part time while applying for grad school so I am available to pet sit, house sit, and walk animals on a fairly flexible basis :) When I’m in a client’s home, I try to keep things calm and close to your pet’s normal routine. I follow feeding schedules, walks, and any instructions you leave. I spend time with them so they are not just being checked on, they have company. I pay attention to their behavior and comfort. Some pets want play and activity. Others want quiet space. I’m used to both. I keep things tidy, send updates, and make sure your pet feels safe while you’re away. If I have any questions I’ll reach out!

I had the pleasure of having Carmela as my dog walker while I was away for a week, and I couldn't be more grateful for her help. Not only was she incredibly kind and accommodating, but she also went above and beyond to make sure my shy dog, Lucky, felt comfortable and safe in her care. Carmela's patience and gentle approach with Lucky truly impressed me, and I could see how much he enjoyed his walks with her. About: I find people think of animals as “other”, but I see them as an extension of myself. Worthy of all the same love, respect, care and appreciation that a human needs to thrive. If I walk into a room where there is a pet, the world around me shrinks and all I see if that creature. I’m the woman who sits in the corner with the dog at parties. Or tries to befriend the unwilling cat by sitting at enough distance and talking to them gently until they relax. I gently carry out every insect and release them into nature. I move the snail out of the road and into a shady tree. I feed the birds outside my house. I greet the neighbour squirrels and ask them about their day. Even chat with the raccoon who growls outside my screen door. I’ve taken care of a 7 month old golden retriever for a week. Lived and cared for a Yorkie, a grey shorthair cat, and a Sheppard mix. I’ve taken a French bulldog on many walks. I’ve feed daily medicine to a senior Siamese cat. I spent many evenings and overnights with a very special Scottish terrier. I traveled the desert with a lovely American bulldog, and gotten cactus needles out of his paw. I cared for a tiny little poodle mix over the weekend. I’ve gotten to know my friend’s many foster dogs. I’ve gotten daily morning visits from my neighbour terrier mix while on his morning pee in the yard. I worked with many others who wandered into my office for cuddles, and scratched at my door when it’s closed. I had the neighborhood cat wait for me at my doorstep after work, and hang out with me in the garden all Saturday. And I sleep next to my very own angel, Ripley, a female orange medium hair I adopted from the shelter, every night. I work freelance, between work I’m very flexible. While working, I make my own schedule. Most of the time I’d leave from the pottery studio to go take care of your little nugget. Whatever you need I’m happy to help. Your pet needs cuddles, count me in! They need space? I’ll softly remind them they are safe and make sure they have what they need. If we go for a walk I’ll do as you prefer; happy to stroll at their speed and enjoy the sunlight while smelling the flowers, or make sure they walk as they are trained right next to me at my speed.

We've been really happy with Minh as our dog walker. She takes the time to leave detailed notes after every walk, which we genuinely appreciate — it's reassuring to know exactly how our dog's day went. She also incorporates enrichment into her walks rather than just going through the motions, and our dog has clearly bonded with her. On top of that, she's incredibly communicative and thoughtful — she'll always give us a heads up if we're running low on treats or supplies, which is such a small thing but makes a big difference. You can tell she's genuinely paying attention and treating our home and pet with real care. We'd recommend her without hesitation!
