“Yuka was amazing! She made sure my cat Luna had plenty food, cuddles, play time and treats while I was away for the weekend. She also sent me plenty of photos which gave me peace of mind. Would def book her again :)”

Carley C.

“This was our first time using Rover. Carley took great care of Nico during our drop in visit and took the time to do a meet and greet before.”

Isabel M.

“Isabel was great with our 2 cats! She spent time playing with our outgoing cat and took time to make sure our shy cat ate. She is also great at communicating and leaving thorough cards after visits!”

Dylan S.
“Dylan is the kindest, most responsible, most compassionate person I've ever known. He grew up in a house with pets and has had pets, dogs and cats, of his own ever since. I feel exceptionally comfortable giving him my highest recommendation. Seriously, he's one of a kind, and your pets couldn't possibly be in better hands!”

Ruth R.

“Ruth was amazing!! Super communicative and responsive. She even watered my plants because they were looking dry. Will definitely be hiring her again soon!”

Ben G.
About: I volunteered at an animal shelter for 4 years in Highschool. Was the proud best friend and owner of a siberian husky and now I have scruffy as my partner in crime. I have first aid and wilderness first aid experience, and I can improvise when necessary. I enjoy long walks and spending time with animals. I’m very good with nonaggressive shy dogs, I have the ability to calm them down and trust me. I still haven’t figured out if my husky rescued me or I rescued him. I say past tense because he passed away during college and I still miss him at times. I don’t have the ability to own a dog now but I would like to help take care of yours I’m current working from home 3-4 days a week and walk my dog 3 times a day when I do. Adding another dog to the mix is no problem for us! I fool a regular routine with my dog and know that dogs do best when they stick to their routine. So I will follow your dogs routine to ensure they have a pleasant time.

Ronja M.

“Ronja is incredible and so trustworthy!!! Will absolutely be booking with her again.”

Midori G.

“I booked Midori for a bunch of drop in visits for my v v v sensitive big boy cat! I was apprehensive as my last rover sitter left my front door open while I was away but Midori was soo understanding of all my instructions and easy to communicate with- we came back to a very happy kitty! I will definitely book her for future visits while I’m away and maybe even to watch our pup!!! Thanks Midori!!!”

Hannah T.

“Great to work with Hannah! She was loving and kind to our cat Penny during a funky week in which we were moving out of our apartment and Penny’s surroundings were all different. Definitely recommend”

Li W.
“Brian takes care of my puppy as they are his own! Our puppy is always so excited to see him and we feel very fortunate to have a person of his caliber caring and loving our Fido. Brian’s nurturing nature is a quality that's difficult to find in someone today, but knowing our puppy is in his hands makes us feel comfortable and comforted when we are away. I couldn't recommend a better person to watch after your fur babies!”

Chloe C.
About: I grew up with a dog mom who couldn’t say no to caring for a fur baby and now it’s my turn to nurture yours! I’ve cared for all sorts of dogs (and cats too) at all stages of their life and would be happy to walk, feed, bathe, and play with your four legged family. I work from home and have plenty of free time for drop ins and scheduled fun. I offer same day bookings, so if the time shows available feel free to book and I’ll be there I’m open to boarding at my home, which has a fenced in yard and room to play but prefer to board at yours to learn your pets routine!

Marjaneh (Marji) A.
“Highly recommend Marji as a dog sitter and walker! I have a temperamental senior chihuahua who is highly selective of which people she likes, but she loved Marji almost immediately. She's been great with her while I travel and I never have to ask her to send photos, she sends them so often it's almost like she reads my mind that I'm thinking about my pup. I can tell that Marji truly cares about animals. It's such a relief that I've found someone I can trust to watch my beloved dog while I'm away!”

About: I have taken care of dogs (my own, family, friends) for 15 years. I grew up with pets and got my own right when I could! I currently have a sweet girl named Benni. She is a 1 year old shiba mix and LOVES other dogs! We go for two walks a day in addition to the dog park daily. We hike at Elysian, Griffith and love walking the reservoir! I have experience walking/caring for multiple dogs at once. I work fully remote, east coast hours. My position is super flexible, I am able to leave, go for walks, run errands etc. throughout the day and completely free in the evenings. I am very lucky to have ample time for pet care. I have a super friendly playful dog to keep yours company, a large one bedroom with plenty of space for the pups to play. Happy to crate train if needed. My apartment is fenced in with a yard area the dogs can go for potty breaks when we aren’t out walking. My usual spots are Elysian, griffith, Silverlake reservoir, griffith park dog park (usually daily) and Silverlake reservoir dog park.

About: I've had pets in my household ever since I can remember and I've naturally learned to love and care for them with the attention and care they deserve. I recognize that each pet has special needs and qualities and I'm more than willing to cater to each one of them as if they were pets of my own. I'm currently self employed, but I'm looking to make pet care a full time job that I can fill my schedule with as much as possible. Although I do have some pets at home that I care for, I'm looking to cater to clients' schedules, environments and requests through open and concise communication.

Emily M.
About: I've taken care of my previous dog for about 15 years, so I'm used to feeding, frequent walking, bathing, etc. I am also attentive and easily notice if a dog needs to go outside, is sleepy, or feeling sick. I'm available as early as 8 to walk and relieve the dog. I'm open on the weekends also! I'll be able to check in on dogs 2 times a day. My schedule is consistent. I currently work from home, so my schedule is very flexible. I can wake up for early relief and walk in the morning. day & evening. I rely on a leash unless we are indoors or in a fenced area. Until I am familiar with your dog, I’ll play it safe.

Olivia S.
About: I've been taking care of cats and dogs since I was 7 years old. Everything from keeping them active, playing with them in the park, emptying litter boxes, waking up in the middle of the night when they want to go out. I'm super reliable, and will always make sure your pet comes back to you with a smile on their face and tired from having so much fun. I work from home, so can definitely spend quality time with the pets I'm sitting, take them out multiple times a day, feed them, take them on walks without any issues or conflicts. I'm a very kind, tender pet care taker. I make sure to create a safe environment that promotes fun and playfulness, without getting out of control. I am stern when I need to be, but absolutely never ever get angry or negative with the pets I care for.

Devorah H.
“Devorah is incredible with my energetic puppy. She has been an absolute god send and handles Sayde so lovingly and patiently. She has also done a wonderful job with her rescue Beagle who is so gentle and sweet with Sayde as well, he has a really calming presence on her. Devorah is also extremely competent and reliable. I trust her entirely with Sayde.”

Brett S.
“I lived with Brett for over a year during which we cared for several dogs together. He's a loving, attentive caretaker who truly loves doggies and knows how to navigate their personalities and needs. I would trust Brett with my pets any day!”
