About: What sets me apart is that caregiving and being responsible for others has always come naturally to me. I’m the oldest of five siblings, so I grew up being someone my family could depend on and trust to make sure everyone was taken care of and safe. That responsibility has always extended to animals too. I’m very attentive, patient, nurturing, and used to being someone’s “safe person.” I genuinely don’t mind the extra responsibility that comes with caring for a pet. I actually really enjoy when people and animals can feel like they can trust, and depend on me. I have a pretty flexible schedule because I’m a lash tech and make my own work hours. On Mondays and Wednesdays, I have class from 9:10 AM–12:10 PM, so I’m available early mornings and anytime after 1 PM. On Tuesdays and Thursdays, I have class from 9:10–10:35 AM and 1:55–3:20 PM, so I’m available early mornings, between classes, and after 3:20 PM. Fridays are completely open for school, and my weekends are flexible as well. Since I control my lash bookings, I can arrange clients around scheduled pet walks or visits, which gives me plenty of flexibility for to spend time with your doggies! I’m unable to have dogs stay at my home at the moment, but I’m very available and comfortable caring for your pets in their own home! I know pets are usually more comfortable in their own environment, so I’m happy to follow their normal routine, including feeding, walks, potty time, etc! I’ll also follow any specific instructions you provide to make sure your pet feels loved and comfortable with me!

About: I've taken care of dogs and cats since I was a child and grew up around both. I've trained a few dogs before and have experienced with administrating medication to cats and dogs. I can care for any other animals as well! Scales, slimy, feathers, fur, no complaints from me. Regardless of the species or breed, I adore and care for them as if they're my own. I'm currently available full time to take care of your pets! I can build my schedule around pet care to make sure their needs are always met. Each day will include feeding, walks or playtime, and monitoring their behavior and health. During my time with your pet, I can also take care of bathing and cleaning them. About: I grew up in a home with a dog, a cat, birds, fish, and rabbits. Throughout my life, I’ve opened my heart to many a pooch, including a beautiful epileptic Dalmation, a feisty pocket Shih Tzu (that one of my students brought to school in a backpack), an adorably lazy Bijon-Maltese mix who came to stay for a weekend and stayed 10 years -- and most recently a spirited 13 year old Terrier mix that we brought home after his person died unexpectedly. All were loved and doted upon until they crossed the rainbow bridge. The smaller ones vacationed by car, truck, and plane and were with us 24/7. I’ve often cared for my friends' dogs and am known for giving good doggy massages. I’ve also shared my space with an African Sulcata tortoise for the last 17 years. I work from home and have a very flexible schedule. I own a small business that allows me to come and go easily, allowing for long walks and/or lounging around. I have a fenced yard, leashes, bowls, a medium sized dog crate if necessary, lots of healthy snacks and lots of time for walks and doggie massages. In your home, I will care for your special friend as instructed. If your pooch loves toys, we will play, if snoozing is their favorite thing, I will happily sit nearby and chill too.

Nikki is a thoughtful, communicative, and kind person and cat sitter! After our initial meet-and-greet, we felt very comfortable booking her for a drop-in visit with our cat, Susie. During the meet-and-greet, Nikki took her time getting acquainted with Susie and immediately made us feel at ease. On the day of the visit, Nikki was on time, sent us several great photos, and left an incredibly detailed and reassuring update. She patiently let Susie warm up to her, gave her treats and affection, and even spent time with her outside on our patio, despite getting attacked by mosquitoes in the process! 😂 We especially appreciated how observant she was. She noticed a brief change in Susie’s breathing, gave her some space, made sure it stopped, and let us know about it afterward. That kind of attentiveness means a lot when someone else is caring for your pet. She even put on some jazz for Susie before leaving and set it on a timer so she’d have a little company afterward. We highly recommend her!
Jessica was great! She stopped in to feed and spend time with my cat while I was on a work trip. She was communicative while I was gone, and flexible with the timing of one of her visits when my travel plans changed. I would definitely choose Jessica again for cat care!
Lindsey is the absolute best!!! I truly cannot say enough positive things. She gave my dogs so much love and attention, and provided both me and my partner separate, thorough text updates since we were away in different places. She also sent tons of adorable photos that really captured the dogs’ personalities and made me feel like she really got to know them. This was my first time using a Rover sitter in many years, as I’ve always had friends or family available to watch my dogs, but I just moved to LA and don’t have a reliable network of personal dog sitters, so I was really nervous about having a stranger take care of my boys while I was away, but Lindsey instantly made me feel at ease and like I’d known her forever. I would 100% trust her to watch my dogs again, and would recommend her to anyone looking for someone who will provide the same level of care to their pets that they would provide themselves.
The kitties were well fed and hydrated. The litter boxes were clean (minus the recent dumps the cat took after Nyssa left but that is nothing on her) and the house looked to be in good shape even though we could have left it cleaner. I'll be booking with Nyssa again.
