“Wendy was so great! She is friendly and professional and provided detailed reports about how my pet was doing while I was away. Very much appreciated her help and will definitely be booking her again in the future!”

About: I have previous experience with dog walking and pet sitting, and I genuinely enjoy spending time with dogs of all sizes and personalities. I've also grown up around dogs through friends and family, so I'm very comfortable reading their body language, building trust, and adapting to their individual needs and energy levels. As someone who is bubbly and full of energy, I love going on walks, playing, and making sure each dog feels safe, happy, and well cared for. I'm very attentive and responsible, as I am the eldest of three, and always make sure to follow any specific instructions closely. Communication is something that I heavily value, so I consistently keep owners updated and I'm never afraid to reach out with questions, updates, or anything needed to ensure their pet is doing. I treat every pet with patience, care, and genuine affection as if they were my own. I currently work part-time at UCLA as an event planner for student activities, which gives me a flexible schedule and plenty of time to dedicate to pet care. I’m available Monday through Thursday after 5 PM, and I have full availability on weekends. I truly enjoy spending time with animals, so I make sure to prioritize giving them attention, exercise, and care whenever I’m with them. Whether caring for pets in my home or in a client’s home, I always prioritize creating a safe, calm, and comfortable environment. I follow instructions closely and make sure each pet’s routine is maintained consistently. I’m also very comfortable handling all aspects of pet care, including the less glamorous tasks like cleaning up after pets and maintaining their space. If any issues arise, I’m attentive and proactive in problem-solving and making sure everything is handled in a timely and responsible manner. My goal is always to ensure pets feel secure and well cared for, while giving owners peace of mind.
“Elizabeth was great with our cat, Sylvie. She communicated promptly and clearly about each visit. She even cleaned up an incident that our cat had which was very nice. I highly recommend Elizabeth,”

About: Hi! I’m Natalie, a UCLA Psychology student who genuinely loves animals. I’ve cared for dogs for family, friends, and neighbors over the years and understand how important it is to have someone you trust caring for your pet. I’m dependable, patient, and attentive to each pet’s unique personality and routine. Whether your dog loves long walks, playtime, cuddles, or simply sticking to their normal schedule, I’ll make sure they feel safe, happy, and loved while you’re away. I enjoy staying active, so walks and outdoor play are always something I look forward to, and I’ll send plenty of photo updates so you can feel confident your pet is in good hands. As a UCLA student, I balance classes and work while making pet care a priority in my schedule. I’m committed to being reliable, communicating promptly, and providing quality care. My availability varies throughout the week, but I always do my best to accommodate each family’s needs whenever possible. Your pet’s safety, comfort, and happiness are always my top priorities. I take the time to learn each pet’s routine, personality, and any special instructions so they feel secure while you’re away. I’ll respect your home as if it were my own. I will keep you updated with photos and messages, and make sure your pet receives lots of love, attention, exercise.

“Olga did a great job with my cat while on a last minute booking I needed. She gave me thorough updates and sent to many pictures of my boy while I was gone. He’s a shy cat but he seemed to warm up to her right away. So recommend!”

“Jacqueline is AMAZING! She was flexible, she was always on time or early, my pup loved her! She obviously loves what she does. I would hire her again, no question!”

About: Animals have always been a huge part of my life. I grew up with both dogs and cats and have years of hands-on experience caring for pets of all ages, sizes, and personalities. In addition to having a dog of my own, I've fostered numerous puppies, dogs, and kittens, which has given me experience with everything from energetic young pets to those needing extra patience and attention. I also volunteer at a local animal shelter, where I help care for animals and support their well-being. I understand how important it is to find someone you trust with your pet, and I treat every animal as if they were my own. I’m currently on a very flexible schedule and available weekdays and most weekends, allowing me to accommodate pet care needs, walks, drop-ins, and boarding requests. Your pet’s safety, comfort, and happiness are my top priorities. I provide attentive, reliable care and treat every pet like family. I’ll keep you updated with messages and photos, follow your pet’s routine closely, and ensure they receive plenty of attention, exercise, and affection while you're away.

About: In addition to helping raise our family dog growing up, I have years of experience caring for dogs of various breeds, sizes, and temperaments. My approach emphasizes positive reinforcement, emotional regulation, consistency, and clear communication. I draw inspiration from evidence-based training methods, including the principles outlined in Karen Pryor’s Don’t Shoot the Dog. I believe a great pet sitter does more than meet a dog’s physical needs. My goal is to help every dog feel emotionally safe, understood, and genuinely at home while you’re away. Most recently, I rescued my mini poodle mix, Luigi, in January 2026. Working with him has deepened my understanding of canine behavior, relationship-building, and creating an environment where dogs can feel safe, confident, and understood. I have experience caring for energetic dogs, sensitive dogs, and dogs who benefit from extra patience, structure, and thoughtful leadership. I specialize in providing calm, attentive care for sensitive dogs and for owners looking for a peaceful alternative to large daycare environments. Every dog is an individual, and I enjoy learning what helps each one feel secure, understood, and at home. Whether your dog needs exercise, companionship, routine care, or simply a calm and reliable presence, I will treat them with the same attentiveness, respect, and care I give my own. BOOKING POLICIES: To provide the highest quality care and maintain a peaceful environment for every dog, I ask clients to keep the following in mind: • I board one guest dog at a time (in addition to my resident dog, Luigi). This allows me to provide individualized attention and maintain a calm home environment. • Some first-time boarding guests may be asked to complete a daycare visit before an overnight stay, particularly puppies, newly adopted dogs, or dogs with little previous boarding experience. This helps ensure a safe and successful experience for everyone. • Advance booking is appreciated, especially for recurring services, weekends, and holidays, as my schedule often fills quickly. • Same-day and next-day bookings may be accepted based on availability and may be subject to a short-notice fee. • Because I reserve time specifically for each client, I ask that schedule changes and cancellations be kept to a minimum whenever possible. • Visits within Santa Monica’s metered parking zone (approximately 23rd Street to Ocean Avenue) include a $2 parking surcharge per visit. I work approximately 15 hours per week on Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday evenings, which gives me the flexibility to provide consistent, individualized care throughout the rest of the week. My goal is never to rush from one booking to the next, but to give each dog the time, attention, enrichment, and companionship they deserve. Safety and trust are my highest priorities. I pay close attention to each dog’s body language, comfort level, and individual routine. I use positive reinforcement, maintain clear boundaries, and strive to create a calm, structured environment where dogs can feel secure, understood, and able to relax. Whether caring for your dog in my home or yours, I am happy to follow your existing feeding, walking, medication, crate, and training routines to provide consistency and help your dog feel at ease.
“Mariana was fantastic! I’m so grateful she was available for a last minute booking. She was super communicative and took such great care of my cats and I loved the photos she shared after each visit. I would absolutely book with her again.”

About: While I’m new to Rover and building my profile, I’m not new to caring for animals. I’ve had dogs and cats my entire life and have experience with pets of different ages, personalities, and needs. I understand that trusting someone with your pet is a big decision, so I make communication a priority and will keep you updated with photos and messages so you can feel confident that your pet is safe, happy, and well cared for. Growing up, I also helped at a shelter with my mom, which gave me early experience working with animals of different temperaments and needs. I truly love animals and enjoy making them feel safe, happy, and comfortable. I’m very active and love spending time outdoors, especially hiking. I used to take my last dog, Loulou, on adventures with me, and I would love to have a furry companion to explore nature with. Whether it’s playtime, walks, or just keeping them company, I treat every pet like my own. I’m excited to earn the trust of both pets and their owners by providing reliable, loving care every time. I’m also flexible with location and can help with pick-up and drop-off if that makes things easier. Pet care fits easily into my routine since I currently work part-time, which gives me a flexible schedule. I’m consistently available on Wednesdays, Fridays, and often on weekends, and I can plan my days around the needs of the pets I’m caring for. On the days I’m available, I make sure to dedicate quality time to each pet whether that’s walks, playtime, feeding, or just giving them attention and companionship. I enjoy being active, so incorporating walks or outdoor time into my day feels very natural to me. I’m also attentive to each pet’s routine and will adjust my schedule to match their usual habits as closely as possible, helping them feel comfortable and secure. When caring for pets, I always focus on keeping them comfortable, safe, and as close to their normal routine as possible. I follow the owner’s instructions carefully, including feeding schedules, exercise needs, and any specific preferences or habits the pet has. In my home, I create a calm and clean environment where pets can relax and feel at ease. I make sure they have plenty of attention, playtime, and regular walks, along with a safe space to rest. I’m attentive to their behavior and mood to ensure they’re happy and not stressed.
“Michelle was a great sister! She was very timely and communicative. She took great cat of our furbabies and sent lots of photos! Thank you for your hard work and loving our babies while we were away.”

About: Growing up with two Bernese Mountain dogs, three cats, and currently two Chocolate Labs, I have a lifetime of experience and love for all animals. My passion for animals extends to my active lifestyle, in which I love having a furry companion by my side. I enjoy going on hikes, walks, and exploring. I've also dedicated time to volunteer work with Hopalong Animal Rescue, where I cared for both kittens and cats. I work but have a flexible schedule to give your fur babies the best care possible! ❤️ Pet care fits perfectly into my routine as a college student with mostly online classes. My flexible schedule allows me to spend ample time with pets. My active lifestyle includes daily walks and hikes, ensuring pets get the exercise and attention they need. When caring for pets in clients' homes, I follow their routines and instructions closely, maintaining a familiar and safe environment. My goal is to provide reliable, loving care that pets can trust, whether they're in my home or their own.

About: Seasoned sitter with a track record of reliable care dating back to my teenage years, specializing in diverse breeds and specialized needs. I provide high quality care tailored to your pet’s unique personality and physical needs. My experience ranges from managing the high energy dynamic of a pack of Pomeranians to providing attentive support for an injured cat. Leave it to me, you can have peace of mind knowing that your pet is with a calming, caring presence providing updates as often as you wish. I am self employed and I always keep mornings free. I can be available on short notice if needed. My schedule is generally flexible during the week. Safety and trust are my top priorities when entering a client's home. During every visit I make sure all entries are securely locked and that the space is free of hazards before leaving. When walking, I am hyper vigilant about my surroundings. I steer clear of unknown animals and potential threats to the safety of pets.
About: I volunteered at Muttville Senior Dog Shelter throughout high school where I fed and walked dogs, as well as administered medications and cared for dogs coming out of surgery. I grew up with a cat and a dog with opposing personalities so definitely have a way with animals! Looking forward to meeting yours! I’m looking to do Rover as a primary source of income this summer. I have very few things scheduled so my routine is extremely flexible. When I pet sit, I’m ideally providing 24/7 care, with a good amount of walks depending on the individual dog’s need, as well as feeding at the same times each day. I’m open to pet sitting at my and the client’s home.
About: Dogs have always been a part of my life. When I didn’t have my own, I always took care of my friends and family dogs. I have always had a special relationship with each individual pup, and I would love to get to know all the quirks and needs of your precious dog(s). My family’s dog is named Cali, and she is truly my best friend. She is in New York now, so I cannot see her as much and am needing some doggy attention from others in the mean time. I know what it is like to feel nerves leaving your dog and making sure they feel safe and happy, and I hope to create that same environment for your dog. I am a post college graduate who majored in social work, and I have always had a need to care for others. My most recent experience is spending the past two months house sitting for 3 amazing dogs. One was elderly and the others were two big puppies. I hope to continue this summer having fun with new fluffy friends and making sure you can enjoy any vacation, obligations, or other activities knowing your loved ones are in good hands. I am currently doing a gap year before I head to do my master’s degree in New York City. That means I have loads of flexible time to perform pet care and work on your time! I expect to know at least 3 days before. Making sure pets are understood and supported is my biggest priority. Being in a new environment or with a new person is scary and overwhelming. It’s important for me to understand their needs and big feelings before putting them in different situations. I treat everyone’s dog like my own-meaning loads to attention, cuddles, playtime, walks, talks, and treats. It’s important for dogs to not just be taken care of at the bare minimum-but to be enriched, active, and engaged when I am around.
About: I've had dogs growing up my entire life so I've always been lucky to play with and take care of a furry friend! I've personally grown up with a Black Lab, a Jack Russell Terrier, and most recently, our Shih Tzu named Diego! Each pup has been so different and I've loved being able to love on them and care for such loving and cuddly dogs! In addition to the dogs my family has had/still has, I've taken care of neighbors' dogs on and off for the past 5 years through either walks throughout the day, trips to the park, or overnight visits. I love being with dogs however I can so I can't wait to meet your sweet fur baby! I'm currently working full-time but only go into the office Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays. I work from home on Mondays and Fridays, which allows me to be much more flexible on those days, and typically have open availability on weekends as well if that fits better into your dog care schedule! I live in an apartment complex that allows dogs in the building so your pup would be safe and happy here. Additionally, I live just a short walk from Westwood Park so I would easily be able to walk your dog over to the park to play outside and interact with other pups (as long as interacting with other pups is okay with you)!

About: I've had dogs my entire life! My dad would constantly bring home stray dogs, and we would foster them until we could find them a home. I have experience caring for friends' and family's dogs and implementing routines for dogs of different breeds and sizes. I have also been babysitting for about 5 years for families that oftentimes have dogs or cats. I am confident in my ability to care for your pet! I am currently working full time but have a flexible schedule. I am available for pet sitting or walking in the evening M-F and for all-day care on the weekend. In your home, I always ask about rules, routines, and medications you may have for your pet. I will make sure to abide by any instructions you may set and will always try my best to make your pet as comfortable as possible.
The median cost per visit for pet sitting in Westwood is $25
Pet parents share their Rover experiences - Westwood
Isabel has been our recurring cat sitter. She is incredible and takes great care of our cat every time. We are moving and we’re actually so sad that we won’t be able to rebook her! 100/10 would recommend. She’s very communicative and kind. I can tell our cat feels comfy with her :>

Jane is always a fantastic communicator! This past time our cat had recently had dental surgery so we had extra requests and each time Jane made sure to keep us updated on everything, taking extra care to spend time with Marshall. Could not ask for better care while we were away.

I’m so glad Tasha was available to do drop-in visits for my two cats again! She was so sweet and caring with them. Before the booking she was extremely communicative and made sure she had all the care instructions she needed. Every day she stopped by, she wrote a long note and sent pics that made me confident my girls were being well taken care of. Thank you Tasha for your excellent care!

Jeniffer was such a wonderful sitter for my cat, Luna! She was timely, communicative and loving when I was away, allowing me to feel a little less guilty about being gone for a week. She cleaned the litter box, checked the food and water, brought in mail and sent a thorough report every day of Luna’s mood and what she did that day (plus plenty of photos). She genuinely loves cats so this was a plus for me; Luna warmed up to her right away and now has a new friend. I would happily recommend Jeniffer to anyone looking for a cat sitter in West LA!

Olivia was amazing! She took great care of our young kitten and our 2-year-old cat, who isn’t always the friendliest with new people. Even our grumpy cat loved her! She sent lots of photos and updates, which gave us so much peace of mind while we were away. We came home to two happy cats and would absolutely book with her again. Highly recommend!
