About: I am athletic and like to make sure the dogs not only do their potty but I also like to run them so that they let out their energy. I have a lot of sympathy for these animals and am always looking at what they are smelling on the sidewalk, double checking to make sure the collar is not too tight and that the dog is moving at its own pace when we are on our walk! I am free from early morning to late night, every single day of the week. I moved from Boston to LA for my long distant girlfriend, and I need to make extra money so that I can live out here and be with her! I am violinist and a swimmer, meaning I am hard working and operate promptly! I wipe my dogs feet twice before they enter the house, once with a wet wipe, then with a dry wipe. I run her twice a day, and I make sure that her water is refilled everyday so that it is always fresh. We feed her fish skin, vegetables, rice and rotisserie chicken. I treat any dog how I would want to be treated!
About: I’ve grown up with dogs my entire life and have owned four of my own, giving me hands-on experience with a wide range of personalities, energy levels, and needs. I currently care for two dogs and have been deeply involved in all aspects of their daily routines, including walking, feeding, training, and play. I also have meaningful experience caring for senior dogs, including providing extra patience, comfort, and attention to their changing needs. This has helped me become very attentive, gentle, and responsive to subtle changes in behavior or health. What sets me apart is how much I truly enjoy being around dogs! I love staying active with them, whether that’s long walks, playtime, or just keeping them company. I’m reliable, attentive, and treat every dog like they’re my own. I’m currently in my last year at UCLA, which gives me a flexible schedule to dedicate to pet care throughout the week. I’m available early in the mornings and after 2–3 PM for walks, drop-in visits, and playtime. I’m also available on weekends and select weekdays for house sitting, depending on your needs. I love incorporating dog care into my daily routine, whether that’s starting the morning with a walk or spending afternoons keeping pets active, happy, and engaged. Your pet’s safety and comfort are always my top priority. I make sure to follow any routines or instructions you provide closely so your dog feels secure and at home, even when you’re away. During walks and visits, I stay alert to surroundings, keep dogs on secure leashes, and prioritize safe, calm environments. I’m very mindful of each dog’s personality, whether they’re energetic, shy, or need extra care. In your home, I’m respectful, clean, and committed to maintaining a stress-free environment for your pet. I’ll also keep you updated with messages and photos so you always feel connected and reassured.
“Wendy was so great! She is friendly and professional and provided detailed reports about how my pet was doing while I was away. Very much appreciated her help and will definitely be booking her again in the future!”

“Elizabeth was great with our cat, Sylvie. She communicated promptly and clearly about each visit. She even cleaned up an incident that our cat had which was very nice. I highly recommend Elizabeth,”

About: I have always loved animals ever since I was a kid. Whether it was pet sitting a family friends dog or feeding my neighbors cats, I have always found joy in caring for animals. Before my family adopted our dog Amber I would pet sit dogs as often as possible. These experiences have taught me many lessons and helped me to have patience and provide dogs and cats with the right amount of support. My family adopted our dog Amber seven years ago and I have been her primary care taker including feeding and walking her. We got her as a puppy and I was responsible for training her. Amber gets along very well with other pets and we have had other dogs stay with us, and they get along very well. I also worked at a doggy day care facility that included a swimming portion, where I would monitor and motivate dogs to swim and get a good workout in. This job helped me gain experience with all different sizes and temperaments of dogs. I was able to manage up to 15 dogs at a time, making sure no fights broke out and they all stayed happy. My schedule is very open I work a part time job for about 10 hours a week. I keep my schedule updated to avoid any confusion. When caring for your dog I will first start slow let the dog/cat get acclimated to me and according to your instructions feed, walk, and care for your pet. I can stay as long as requested help your pet with whatever is needed. I am so excited to meet your pets and if you have any questions I am happy to answer them!
About: Taken care of three dogs and cats over the years along with volunteering at my local shelters. Great with animals and people of all types. Currently working part time so as long as there is sufficient notice I’m happy to be on pet care duties for as little or long as necessary. Have a small home but private home, safe space for pets of all kinds. I prefer to go on walks and keep pets active and engaged while they spend time with me.
“Amanda did a fantastic job caring for Piper. Her Rover cards after each drop-in were detailed and thoughtful, which made us feel completely at ease. She’s dependable, communicative, and clearly has a natural way with dogs. We’d absolutely book Amanda again in the future!”

“Sherilee was amazing with our cats! She made sure to interact with them and kept us up to date with what they were doing and what they were up to! We appreciate her attention to detail and would definitely recommend! Thank you so much!”
About: I have one year of dog walking/sitting experience and have been surrounded by pets for my whole life! I walked/ran my neighbors dog and took care of him while they went out of town and whenever needed. My apartment recently fostered a dog for a few months and I actively took care of him, making sure he was fed, walked, and could go to the bathroom. My dad recently adopted a new dog and I regularly take him on walks, play fetch with him, and give him as much attention as he wants! I am a very active person who loves going on walks and hanging out with dogs! I recently graduated college so I have a lot of free time. I am available at any time on Monday, Wednesday, Friday, and Sunday! I have a car and will be able to drive wherever needed. I take walks every day and would love for a pup to keep me company! When caring for a pet in a client's home, I respect the home and the home owners rules. I will keep the home clean and organized and follow all of the care instructions extremely carefully. I will prioritize making sure the animal is comfortable in their environment. I will also provide regular updates, photos, and communication if the owner wishes, so they can feel confident that their pet is safe and happy while they are away.
“Sai was absolutely wonderful! He took great care of my cat, and communicated thoroughly about every visit. I felt my cat was in good hands with him. I would definitely book him again in the future.”

About: I have grown up with dogs and cats my whole life. Starting at the age of 15, I would be entrusted to care for pets overnight. I volunteered as a dog walker for a service dog in training (puppy under one year). I love all pets and am a responsible, trustworthy student. I am a third year UCLA student living in Westwood. I am currently a part time student, in between internships so I have lots of free time to hang out with/take care of your pets! I am very responsible and a logical thinker. I will follow your directions very well but also am a quick thinker and understand how to take care of pets.
About: I've had dogs growing up my entire life so I've always been lucky to play with and take care of a furry friend! I've personally grown up with a Black Lab, a Jack Russell Terrier, and most recently, our Shih Tzu named Diego! Each pup has been so different and I've loved being able to love on them and care for such loving and cuddly dogs! In addition to the dogs my family has had/still has, I've taken care of neighbors' dogs on and off for the past 5 years through either walks throughout the day, trips to the park, or overnight visits. I love being with dogs however I can so I can't wait to meet your sweet fur baby! I'm currently working full-time but only go into the office Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays. I work from home on Mondays and Fridays, which allows me to be much more flexible on those days, and typically have open availability on weekends as well if that fits better into your dog care schedule! I live in an apartment complex that allows dogs in the building so your pup would be safe and happy here. Additionally, I live just a short walk from Westwood Park so I would easily be able to walk your dog over to the park to play outside and interact with other pups (as long as interacting with other pups is okay with you)!
About: I have taken care of animals since I was a kid. I love dogs and can't wait to have my own one day. I have dog-sat for both family and friends and always treated the dogs like my own. I will always go above and beyond to ensure their needs are met and to show them love and care. I am currently an undergraduate student. Other than classes, which normally do not take up more than two hours of my day, my schedule is flexible to spend time with your dog! I am also available on most weekends! I will ensure that your dog is well cared for in their home. This includes regular walks, following a feeding schedule, time to play, and other specific needs they might have. I always follow the rules set out by the owner!
“Ashley has been great with my kitten Poppy. She sends updates of them playing, makes sure food/water and litterbox are all clean and working! Poppy is in good hands with her and I will continue to book with Ashley when I need a drop in sitter!”

Westwood pet parents share their Rover experiences
Alicia is the absolute best! She is so kind, and so sweet with our Freddy when we’re gone. She takes such good care of him and send the cutest photos and updates. There was also an issue with the callbox on our building and she handled the whole issue/finding the spare keys so well— by the time we landed and saw her messages about the gate issue, it was all resolved!

Julia did an amazing job taking care of my cat for almost 2 weeks. She was consistent in her communication, attentive to detail, and very helpful when I needed her help resetting some of my security cameras. I appreciated that her schedule was very flexible as well. I felt totally at ease knowing Julia was checking in on my cat, and I would recommend her as a pet-sitter for anyone.

Elianna was wonderful with my two cats! She was very communicative and sent photos. She even got my very shy one to open up. This was my first time hiring a sitter who my cats didn’t already know from before, but Elianna was so caring and attentive that it definitely eased all worry I had. I would 100% recommend!

My rabbit Toast almost never likes strangers but he warmed up to Max so quickly! Max was super attentive and made sure Toast was well taken care of and got his meds. He's incredibly professional and detail-oriented; I would love to have Max drop in to look after Toast again.

Kacey was excellent with my puppy! My puppy is only 13 weeks old. This was the first time Skye has had someone watch her. Prior to the pet visit, Kacey was kind enough to meet Sky for 5 minutes. During the visit she played with her and also gave me behavioral details. Thank you so much!

Kayla was so kind and communicative with taking care of our sweet kitty! We could tell our cat really enjoyed Kayla’s company and we’re so grateful for all of the photos Kayla shared from each visit. They’re the best pics we’ve ever got from a sitter! Thank you again!

Savanna did an incredible job taking care of our cat, Kiko! He can be an anxious cat yet she made him feel so comfortable and they bonded so well. She took care of all of his feedings and cleanings, and we felt very at ease with her taking care of him. Great communicator as well. Highly recommend
