About: While I’m new to Rover and building my profile, I’m not new to caring for animals. I’ve had dogs and cats my entire life and have experience with pets of different ages, personalities, and needs. I understand that trusting someone with your pet is a big decision, so I make communication a priority and will keep you updated with photos and messages so you can feel confident that your pet is safe, happy, and well cared for. Growing up, I also helped at a shelter with my mom, which gave me early experience working with animals of different temperaments and needs. I truly love animals and enjoy making them feel safe, happy, and comfortable. I’m very active and love spending time outdoors, especially hiking. I used to take my last dog, Loulou, on adventures with me, and I would love to have a furry companion to explore nature with. I’m also flexible with location and can help with pick-up and drop-off if that makes things easier. I’m consistently available on Wednesdays, Fridays, and often on weekends, and I can plan my days around the needs of the pets I’m caring for. On the days I’m available, I make sure to dedicate quality time to each pet whether that’s walks, playtime, feeding, or just giving them attention and companionship. I enjoy being active, so incorporating walks or outdoor time into my day feels very natural to me. I’m also attentive to each pet’s routine and will adjust my schedule to match their usual habits as closely as possible, helping them feel comfortable and secure. When caring for pets, I always focus on keeping them comfortable, safe, and as close to their normal routine as possible. I follow the owner’s instructions carefully, including feeding schedules, exercise needs, and any specific preferences or habits the pet has. In my home, I create a calm and clean environment where pets can relax and feel at ease. I make sure they have plenty of attention, playtime, and regular walks, along with a safe space to rest. I’m attentive to their behavior and mood to ensure they’re happy and not stressed.

About: Having spent my life with dogs I know the love and joy they bring and always want to return the favor. I give dogs attention and playtime while also being attentive to when they need breaks and giving them time to slow down. I am currently working independently so I love to spend as much time as possible with pets. I have lots of availability for walks and check ins and am able to work my other job while dog sitting which offers even more flexibility. I live in Brentwood which is a very dog friendly area, perfect for walks and near the beach if you are interested in having me take your dog on a field trip! I always ensure that there is somewhere for your dog to cool off, I always keep water available, and I feed them on schedule but only give special treats if you want me to.

About: I've had dogs growing up my entire life so I've always been lucky to play with and take care of a furry friend! I've personally grown up with a Black Lab, a Jack Russell Terrier, and most recently, our Shih Tzu named Diego! Each pup has been so different and I've loved being able to love on them and care for such loving and cuddly dogs! In addition to the dogs my family has had/still has, I've taken care of neighbors' dogs on and off for the past 5 years through either walks throughout the day, trips to the park, or overnight visits. I love being with dogs however I can so I can't wait to meet your sweet fur baby! I'm currently working full-time but only go into the office Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays. I work from home on Mondays and Fridays, which allows me to be much more flexible on those days, and typically have open availability on weekends as well if that fits better into your dog care schedule! I live in an apartment complex that allows dogs in the building so your pup would be safe and happy here. Additionally, I live just a short walk from Westwood Park so I would easily be able to walk your dog over to the park to play outside and interact with other pups (as long as interacting with other pups is okay with you)!

About: Hi! I’d love to be your pup’s next walker or sitter. I grew up right here in Westwood, taking care of neighbors’ pets since I was a kid (dog walking, cat sitting, babysitting, all of it)! Animals have basically always been part of my life, and I know this neighborhood inside and out (great parks, quiet routes, the works). I left for a few years to study in San Francisco, where I kept dog walking and cat sitting on the side. Now I’m back in Westwood and have my own cat (a very demanding one), plus experience fostering kittens and older cats, so I’m comfortable with pets who need a little extra patience. You’ll get photo updates from every walk or visit, and I’m happy to do park playtime if your pup’s up for it. Treat your pet like it’s mine, because honestly, animals have always felt like family to me. Looking forward to meeting your baby! 🐾 Pet care is just part of my everyday life, not a side task. I have my own cat, Miso-san, and I’m currently fostering a 6-year-old who’s teaching me a lot about patience with older cats, different needs, different pace, and I’ve learned to read those cues well. Every morning I’m out walking, rain or shine, and I usually pick up a few pup friends from the neighborhood along the way — so your dog would be walking with familiar company, not just me. It’s become a real routine for me, not something I squeeze in. Because animals are woven into my day already, your pet isn’t an inconvenience I’m fitting in around other things — they’re just part of how my day naturally goes. For dogs, that means walks and visits based on whatever routine you set, feeding times, potty breaks, exercise level. For cats, I stick to their normal feeding and litter routine, give them the attention they’re used to (play time or just quiet company), and check food/water/litter every visit. If your pet needs meds or has a specific routine, I follow it exactly as instructed. I also treat your home with the same respect I’d want for, everything left exactly as I found it. You shouldn’t have to wonder how things are going while you’re away. I send photo updates every visit or walk, so you get to see your pet mid-walk, mid-nap, or just being themselves. If anything seems off, they didn’t eat much, seemed a little low energy, I’ll message you right away instead of waiting until the visit’s over. I also send a quick recap after each visit: what we did, how they seemed, anything worth noting. You should feel just as in the loop as if you were home yourself.

About: I’ve been taking care of animals for most of my life. I love high energy animals and taking care of them. I grew up with a dog and cat I still have and care for and more recently I have been a volunteer at the Humane Society, I even ended up starting my own club of volunteers in high school. This role has equipped me with all sorts of animal care skills such as cleaning after them, bathing them, feeding them and administering medication, and making sure to provide lots of love and attention. I’ve always said that I’m not a dog or cat person when asked, but rather an animal person. I love animals and caring after them. I am a college student at Tulane University and I am currently home for the summer! I am available until June 22nd and have open availability all day every day until then. I have a fenced yard and two pets of my own that are both friendly so I am no stranger to spending time outdoors with animals or having playdates. I am more than happy to take pets to any appointments they may have and am able to administer medication if needed.
