About: In addition to helping raise our family dog growing up, I have years of experience caring for dogs of various breeds, sizes, and temperaments. My approach emphasizes positive reinforcement, emotional regulation, consistency, and clear communication. I draw inspiration from evidence-based training methods, including the principles outlined in Karen Pryor’s Don’t Shoot the Dog. I believe a great pet sitter does more than meet a dog’s physical needs. My goal is to help every dog feel emotionally safe, understood, and genuinely at home while you’re away. Most recently, I rescued my mini poodle mix, Luigi, in January 2026. Working with him has deepened my understanding of canine behavior, relationship-building, and creating an environment where dogs can feel safe, confident, and understood. BOOKING POLICIES: To provide the highest quality care and maintain a peaceful environment for every dog, I ask clients to keep the following in mind: • I board one guest dog at a time (in addition to my resident dog, Luigi). This allows me to provide individualized attention and maintain a calm home environment. • Some first-time boarding guests may be asked to complete a daycare visit before an overnight stay, particularly puppies, newly adopted dogs, or dogs with little previous boarding experience. This helps ensure a safe and successful experience for everyone. • Advance booking is appreciated, especially for recurring services, weekends, and holidays, as my schedule often fills quickly. • Same-day and next-day bookings may be accepted based on availability and may be subject to a short-notice fee. • Because I reserve time specifically for each client, I ask that schedule changes and cancellations be kept to a minimum whenever possible. • Visits within Santa Monica’s metered parking zone (approximately 23rd Street to Ocean Avenue) include a $2 parking surcharge per visit. I work approximately 15 hours per week on Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday evenings, which gives me the flexibility to provide consistent, individualized care throughout the rest of the week. My goal is never to rush from one booking to the next, but to give each dog the time, attention, enrichment, and companionship they deserve. Safety and trust are my highest priorities. I pay close attention to each dog’s body language, comfort level, and individual routine. I use positive reinforcement, maintain clear boundaries, and strive to create a calm, structured environment where dogs can feel secure, understood, and able to relax. Whether caring for your dog in my home or yours, I am happy to follow your existing feeding, walking, medication, crate, and training routines to provide consistency and help your dog feel at ease.

About: Growing up with multiple dogs in the household (chihuahua, corgi collie mix, Labrador retrievers), I’ve cared for pets of all ages and sizes. I now have a 7 year old pittie mix of my own and volunteer at local rescues, so I know how to ensure safe experiences for pets in a tricky city like Los Angeles! I have a flexible schedule with availability during most weekdays or weekends to spend quality time with pets in West Los Angeles and surrounding neighborhoods. I’m able to host dogs that are crate trained (as long as they are also dog-friendly) or I can come to you for in-home pet care.

About: From nursing newborns back to health to administering meds for seniors, my experience is invaluable for anyone who requires those needs. I can follow instructions as well, so any particular instructions won’t be a problem. As someone who works full-time, my schedule allows me to check in in the afternoons. For weekends, I’m available all day. I wake up early too so can try to drop in before work. Ensuring all doors/windows are closed if the owner requires it before I leave. Making sure hazardous objects are locked and secure to not risk any accidents. Send a few periodic updates to the owner to keep them looped in.

About: Animals have always been a huge part of my life. I grew up with both dogs and cats and have years of hands-on experience caring for pets of all ages, sizes, and personalities. In addition to having a dog of my own, I've fostered numerous puppies, dogs, and kittens, which has given me experience with everything from energetic young pets to those needing extra patience and attention. I also volunteer at a local animal shelter, where I help care for animals and support their well-being. I understand how important it is to find someone you trust with your pet, and I treat every animal as if they were my own. I’m currently on a very flexible schedule and available weekdays and most weekends, allowing me to accommodate pet care needs, walks, drop-ins, and boarding requests. About: I am the person at the party who is on the ground hanging out with your pet and the kids instead of the adults :) I grew up on 5 acres in Oregon, where we had cats, dogs, goats, llamas, horses, bunnies, birds, lizards, you name it! Since I was 16, I've always had a pet of my own, usually a cat or a dog. I am very attentive and good at following any training wishes and rules you have for your pets. Pet care is built-in to my lifestyle. I work from home, and our dog Rosie keeps me company all day. We go on three walks a day, and when I am done working, she comes over knowing that it's pet & play time for a little while to unwind. On the weekends, we like to get to the dog park that is a 15-minute walk away. We have a one-bedroom apartment that is very pet-friendly. I can make space for a crate if your pet uses one. No yard, but as I mentioned, we take our walks seriously and make sure to get lots of indoor and outdoor playtime. Speaking of family, meet Hank, my adorable pug and the true king of our home! 👑 Hank is friendly, social, and absolutely loves having doggy guests over. He's the perfect built-in playmate and icebreaker for any pup who comes to stay. Fair warning: he's irresistibly squishy and loves to play. Since Hank lives here full-time, your pup will need to be friendly and comfortable around other dogs. I always start with a meet-and-greet. It's the perfect chance for us to meet and for our dogs to sniff each other out to make sure it's a great match before any booking. I work from home with a flexible schedule, which means your baby won't be spending the day alone. Lots of walks, playtime, and snuggles are guaranteed. Please share any details about the daily routine and I’ll make sure they feel right at home. When your pup stays with me, they will be a part of our family. I have plenty of dog beds, toys, bowls, and treats to make the stay comfortable! I already love taking pictures of Hank, so you will get plenty of photo and videos of their stay.

About: I've always been a dog owner and have 5 year old black Labrador named Phineas. He’s extremely friendly and loves long walks. I’ve always wanted another dog but I thought I caring for other dogs would be a great alternative for the time being. I can’t wait to look after your pups and I promise to take the best care of them! I'm currently working full-time but am available at any time during the weekend. I'm flexible with your vacation or kids soccer tournaments, I understand life gets busy and sometimes your fur babies cannot join. I currently live in a home with a large yard, if our dogs get along I’m more than happy to have them join our home. If not, I can always watch and take them for long walks around your neighborhood.

About: I am at your service! I will do anything you ask, I’m super flexible, patient, and willing. I will treat your baby like royalty. You want them fed a specific portion? Done. Fed at a specific time? You got it. Bathed with a certain shampoo? I’ll hop in too. Sung Celine Dion as a lullaby? and tucked into silk sheets? It would be my pleasure. Rehearse their lines so they can be off book for their audition? You can count on me. Their safety is of utmost importance, too. I can cook as well for dogs on any special diets. I am currently back in student-mode, so I have plenty of time to board, visit, and walk your angels while I am studying to get certified by the State of CA as a Peer Support Specialist, I always let new animals smell me first. I demonstrate that Iam not a threat by ducking my head, and bending my hand underneath their mouth so that they can get a good whiff. I always hold the leash super tight, and keep an eye on open doors. I also make sure to see they're eating and going to the bathroom normally.
