“Hannah has been our dog walker and sitter for months now and she’s our favorite! She takes such care of our babies and I trust her so much. She’s always there for us when we need and recommend her 1000 percent!!!!”

“Meng was amazing! 10/10! 🤩🫶🏽 She really got me out of a pinch by responding to my request so quickly. She was very communicative, and went above and beyond to care for my babies. Really helped keep my house clean and ordered from their crazy zoomies. 😅”

About: Hi! I’m Carmen, I am I life-long animal lover and I specialize in caring for small, medium and senior, or low-energy dogs who thrive in a slow-paced, cozy environment. Whether your pup needs boarding or day care, they’ll get lots of one-on-one attention, walks, naps, and a calm daily rhythm. I only take one guest dog at a time to keep things peaceful and personal. I work from home, so I’m around to provide steady companionship, regular potty breaks, and lots of love throughout the day. What I Offer: • One guest dog at a time • Small/medium breeds or seniors only • Quiet, low-stress environment • Ideal for shy, anxious, or elderly dogs • Frequent photo updates • Quick communication • Lots of attention I would love to meet your pup and help them feel right at home. Let’s set up a meet-and-greet to see if we’re the right fit! I work from home, so I’m able to give lots of attention throughout the day. My schedule is consistent, which creates a relaxed environment for visiting dogs. Walks, meals, and cuddle breaks easily fit into my daily rhythm—and my chihuahua Cathy is always happy to have a friend around. Because I only take one dog at a time, each pup gets focused, attention in a peaceful setting. In my home, I offer a safe space where dogs can relax. I keep the environment quiet and low-stress, with soft bedding, plenty of fresh water, walks, and companionship. If I’m caring for a pet in a client’s home, I respect their space and routines, making sure your pet feels secure and well cared for in their own environment. I follow feeding, walk, and medication instructions carefully, and I’m always happy to send regular updates and photos so you can feel at ease while you’re away.
“Harvest did such a great job at cat sitting for me! The photos are so cute. My shy and quiet cat cozied right up to her and cuddled. Harvest did a great job at communication and taking care of my kitty. Looking forward to having her back on my future vacations! I know I’m in good hands. Highly recommend her!”

About: I currently have 3 dogs - a frenchie, a yorkie/retriever mix, and a blue heeler/border collie mix. I absolutely love dogs and treat them like my family. I currently work from home so I have the flexibility to do dog walks and pet sitting. For boarding, I’m at home the majority of the day. I have a fenced in yard with a doggie door and access to a grass backyard. I also have 3 friendly dogs - 2 seniors that sleep all day and a border collie mix that loves to play!
About: We’re a dog-loving family with a friendly pup who enjoys welcoming new friends. Our calm home has a securely fenced backyard for safe play and plenty of cozy time indoors. We love being home when we can and make sure every dog feels safe, relaxed, and truly cared for. I have had a dog in my life since childhood. They are the best & I can't imagine life without them! Note: If you prefer a house sitter, my schedule will roughly be the same. I am a teacher, and I can be available during the week and when I am on break from school. Updated on April 29th, 2026 *Goes through Spring Break 2027 August 15th-June 15th In-Session Teacher Schedule (minus holidays) Monday-Friday: I leave for work at 7:45 and return at 4:15. I can go home during my lunch break to check on a pet in our care. Pets have access to our backyard and inside all day. Friday-Sunday: I will be home at 4:15 on Fridays, and we can be home most of the day (sans a few errands) Saturday and Sunday, depending on what your pet needs. Out of Session Teacher Schedule (includes holidays) June 16th-August 14th (Summer Vacation), and Other Holidays (Labor Day weekend, Thanksgiving, Winter Break December 19th-January 3rd, MLK Weekend, Presidents Day Weekend, Spring Break March 20th-April 4th) Note: When I am out of session from school I can be extremely flexible. We care for each pet based on their individual needs and routines. If your dog is crate-trained or prefers to be crated, we’re happy to accommodate that. Our own dog is crated at night as part of their sleep routine, so we’re very comfortable with crate training and nighttime routines. During the day, dogs enjoy a calm home environment with safe access to indoor spaces and our fully fenced backyard. We closely follow your feeding, walking, medication, and care instructions, and provide plenty of attention and affection.

About: Hi! I’m a dependable, attentive animal lover with hands-on experience caring for animals with a wide range of personalities and needs. My own sweet senior dog requires medications and extra support, and, as a rescue, he came with a big dose of separation anxiety. I understand how important patience, consistency, and trust are when it comes to pet care. I also know how hard it can be to entrust a new person with the safety and care of your beloved companion. I take the honor very seriously! I’m comfortable with walks, routines, medications, and senior pet support. I’ve also cared for cats, birds, rodents, and reptiles, so I’m experienced with different temperaments and care styles. I’ll always treat your animals with the same level of care and attention I give my own. You will receive lots of updates and pictures! I work part time from home, so I'm very flexible and ready to come care for your pet! Never be afraid to reach out on short notice. My own home has a new and anxious dog who is learning the environment, for the time being I am only doing pet care in clients' homes.
“Was really great with my cat! It was my first time leaving him alone for a weekend and she was very reassuring and responsive and sent a lot of pictures! Very flexible as well when I needed to add on an extra visit last minute! Will absolutely be booking with her again!”

“We entrusted Mickie to look after our dear son. It was our first time ever using Rover or any kind of pet sitting service so we were super nervous but Mickie made sure we felt safe and comfortable by understanding all of Kobe’s unique needs and fulfilling everything we needed of her! Mickie is an excellent pet sitter and I would rebook with her without question!”

“Sarah was an excellent caretaker. She was very flexible in orchestrating key pick up and sent plenty of photos of our babies. Looking forward to working with her again in the future! Would highly recommend her!”
About: Hi there! My name is Raine :) Ever since I was a little girl, I've been absolutely in love with animals. For my 9th birthday instead of gifts, I asked that everyone donate to my local animal shelter. Growing up with multiple pets around the house and having to walk, feed, and play with all of them, I'm familiar with the kind of care and love that each animal deserves. Additionally, I have been fostering cats and kittens at my apartment (although not at the moment) for about a year, so I am comfortable with animals of all ages. Lastly, I visit home frequently where my mom and dad have two labs that I walk, groom, feed, and love. Recently unemployed, I have all the time in the world to take care of your fur babies. I can't think of any better way to spend my time! I will follow any instructions to make sure that all the animals are safe, happy, and comfortable. I always have my dogs on a leash when walking them, and make sure to feed all animals at the same time every day. Giving pets ample attention and play time is super fun for me so I make sure to entertain them as well.
About: I've taken care of dogs for friends and family since I was 10 years old. I've done full service sitting, at their houses as well as my own, including medicine administration, bathing as needed and lots of walkies and playtime. I am also a LA animal services volunteer with Fear Free Shelter certification. I mainly work with dogs at the shelter. I am currently working from home part-time so I'm around 7 days a week with a flexible schedule. I live alone with no pets so your pet would be my main focus with no additional considerations. I'm able to prioritize your pet's schedule to make sure that their time while you're away is calm, relaxed and fun. I care for pets based on their needs and their owner's instructions first and foremost. The only preconceived notion I bring to a sitting job is to treat both pet and owner as well as their living space (if I'm staying there) with love, respect and patience. I make sure to get to know the pet and their personality so I can use my training and knowledge of behavioral cues to heighten the level of communication and understanding between me and the pet. I provide frequent updates so owners have nothing to worry about - and plenty of pictures.

About: Hi! I’ve loved and cared for dogs and cats for as long as I can remember. They hold a very special place in my heart, and even though I have my own fur babies, I never get tired of all the cuteness and joy they bring. I’m an experienced and caring pet sitter who truly enjoys getting to know each pet’s unique personality. Whether your furry friend needs walks, drop-in visits, overnight care, or just extra love while you’re away, I’m here to make sure they feel safe, relaxed, and genuinely cared for. I have hands-on experience with dogs and cats of all ages and temperaments—from playful puppies who need structure and gentle guidance, to senior pets who need patience, a slower pace, and attentive care (including medication if needed). I also work well with shy or anxious pets and always move at their comfort level to build trust. My goal is to create a calm, loving environment where your pet feels at home. You can always expect thoughtful updates, clear communication, and someone who treats your pets like their own. I truly love what I do and would be honored to care for yours! I’m currently working part-time, which allows me to offer flexible availability for pet care throughout the mornings, evenings, and most weekends. I’m also open to overnight care and happy to provide services either in my home or yours—whichever best suits your pet’s comfort and your needs. I provide calm, attentive, and personalized care in both my home and clients’ homes, always prioritizing each pet’s comfort, safety, and routine. In clients’ homes, I closely follow instructions and maintain their pet’s normal schedule to keep them relaxed in their familiar environment. In my home, I offer a clean, peaceful space where pets are treated like family with plenty of care and attention. I currently share my home with two sweet, indoor teenage male cats, so visiting pets must be comfortable in a cat-friendly environment. In all cases, I focus on safety, consistency, and clear communication, with regular updates so you feel confident while you’re away.
“Daniel and Bethany took wonderful care of our bunny. They were attentive and took extra care to make sure that she had a clean crate before we arrived home. Thank you so much for the great care!”

“Anya was an amazing sitter for my two cats while we were traveling! She was on time each day and sent detailed daily updates which we really appreciated especially with one of our cats requiring daily medication administration :) I would 100% book her again and again for my next travels! Thank you Anya!”

About: I had family dogs I took care for over 15 years from puppy age to adult. In addition I have taken care of many of my friend’s dogs. I’m experienced with everything from high energy puppies who need training and structured play to senior pets who require gentle handling, medications, and extra patience. I am currently working part time so my schedule is very flexible and I am able to accommodate your availability. Especially working hours 9-5 if needed. When I care for pets in your home, I focus on keeping them comfortable and safe while maintaining their usual routine. I make sure they have fresh food and water, regular walks or playtime, and any medications or special instructions are followed exactly as directed.
“Molly was a great, reliable, and communicative cat sitter for Poppy! I felt that my home and Poppy were in great hands. She was super accommodating even when Poppy ended up needing medicine administered with very little notice. Highly recommend!”

Mar Vista pet parents share their Rover experiences
Piper was great - very attentive to Bourbon and Molly’s needs. Bourbon can be picky and sometimes doesn’t want to eat, but she figured out what worked for him. This was my first time using Rover, and I booked with very short notice. She was incredibly helpful throughout the whole process.

Mami was awesome. She was very responsive even though I booked the sit pretty last minute (less than 24 hours). She offered to come over in the evening and meet Minnie ahead of the sit and so I could show her a few things about where Minnie's items are in the house. She was very attentive and on time and Minnie loved her! I will definitely use her again in the future!

First time using Rover and I am so grateful I chose Julia. From the moment I booked her, she was incredibly responsive and her notes throughout the visit visits gave me such comfort during my travel. She even went above and beyond and left things in impeccable order. My kitties are shy, but warmed up to her quickly, which says a lot. Thank you, Julia.

Alicia is the absolute best! She is so kind, and so sweet with our Freddy when we’re gone. She takes such good care of him and send the cutest photos and updates. There was also an issue with the callbox on our building and she handled the whole issue/finding the spare keys so well— by the time we landed and saw her messages about the gate issue, it was all resolved!
