About: I’ve been a caretaker in one form or another since I was very young. I started as the neighborhood baby/pet/house sitter, and later became a professional nanny—where caring for children also meant caring for the family pets and homes. Although I stepped away from nannying, I still love caring for animals. I travel for work about a week out of every month, which makes having a pet of my own difficult right now, so pet sitting has been the perfect way to stay connected to animals while helping other pet parents feel at ease. I’ve been dog and house sitting for friends and referrals, and I treat every pet like they’re my own—with patience, affection, attention, and reliable care. Whether your pup loves long walks, your cat loves playtime, cuddles, or just a calm and consistent companion, I’m happy to provide dependable, loving care in the comfort of their own home. I have a pretty flexible work week and I’m off on weekends. I wake up on the earlier side so I will have plenty of time to do the morning pet duties. I’m a homebody so my evenings are spent reading, catching up on work, watching tv- so that also leaves plenty of time in the evening for whatever your pet’s needs are! I do love to walk outside so hopefully your pet does too! I follow the house rules and routine to help the pets remain calm while their families are gone. I also believe consistency is key in building trust with them too. Safety first! My mother is a trauma nurse so I am always looking out for any potential danger and I’m a very cautious person.

About: Hey! My name is Katia but i usual go by Kat for short and im new to the LA area. I have been around pets pretty much my whole life! I’m new to the rover app but have been pet sitting for friends and family back home for years now since I was in middle school. I’m comfortable around all dogs and cats and am very willing to adapt and learn how to best take care of your pet! I have a very calm senior mini dachshund mix and he required a lot of attention especially durning allergy season as his itching can get pretty bad. I have a mini pinscher puppy about 8 months old who has an insane amount of energy and had the time to practice a bit of training with him, through I wouldn’t say I’m a professional. Lastly I have a very cuddly tuxedo cat who can be a bit of a diva at times but she loves snuggles and most of all naps. I love going on walks/runs daily currently I’m a nursing student and only have class once a week while my other class is online I’m in the process of looking for a job as I’m new to LA! So if you need anything last minute for your furry friends count on me! I can easily crate your dog if needed and work with specific hours of your choosing to feed walk I can also bathe your pet if your preference! And most importantly give them as much attention they need to feel comfortable and secure while away from their favorite person(you)!

About: I've taken care of pets for the past 17 years, mostly dogs and cats. I know how important it is for your pets to be watched by someone who values them as much as you do. I'm currently available to assist in mornings or evenings as my work schedule is very flexible at this time. Only early to mid afternoons are inconsistent for me. I'm happy to abide by any client's guidelines for caring for their pets in regards to feeding, letting them outside, play time, walks, and so forth.

I am a freelance writer who works from home so my schedule can shift to fit my client needs. Any time of day can work as long as I have enough notice! I have a fenced in yard and plenty of space to run around. When walking, I always ensure my dogs are securely on leash and/or harnessed if needed.
