About: Hello : ) I am a stay at home parent (with school aged children) looking to help provide trusted pet care. I have a great deal of experience caring for animals. I grew up raising baby birds and caring for many a variety of animals (including many different breeds of cats and dogs). In addition to my own, I was hired to watch other family's animals, starting around age 8 (alongside my mom) and then independently around age 11. I love how different animal's personalities can be and think they bring so much joy to our busy lives! I understand how challenging it can be with busy lives/careers, to find trusted pet care. Now that my kiddos are in school, I have some flexibility and would love to help provide others with kind and reliable pet care during busy work weeks. I am looking forward to meeting and caring for your little buddies! : ) I am a stay at home parent so AM - afternoon is very flexible. Depending on requests I can make time later afternoons and evenings and weekends as well but primarily very flexible from 7-2pm I will come to your home and offer a kind hello, playtime and walk and make sure any other details you ask for are attended to.

About: Neighbors, friends, and family have relied on me to check in, feed, and play with their pets whether they're away for 1 day or several months. They also come to me for pet advice whether it's about a toy for enrichment, a bed for comfort, or a concern over a new behavior. In another life I probably would have kept true to my childhood dream of being a vet to help as many animals as possible. Recently I wrote down a personal goal to spend more time with animals because of the joy I get from seeing them happy and thriving. I grew up with cats in the house and gladly helped friends and family with dogs since I could walk. I've learned how to administer various medications, have taken care of pets of all ages, and am patient with nervous or anxious pets. My current schedule is flexible, so I can work with you in creating a care plan that fits your needs and gives your pet the attention they deserve. About: What sets me apart is my experience with large dogs and the fact that I've been on both sides of pet ownership. I owned and personally trained two Shepherds, so I understand the importance of consistency, patience, and reading a dog's body language. I’m comfortable with energetic dogs, maintaining routines, reinforcing basic training, and making sure each dog feels safe and comfortable. Since then, I’ve regularly cared for friends’ dogs through house-sitting and pet-sitting, treating every dog as if they were my own. I know how much trust it takes to leave your pet with someone else, and I take that responsibility seriously. My goal is to give every dog plenty of attention, exercise, and affection while giving owners complete peace of mind. Pet care fits naturally into my routine because I intentionally make time for walks, play, feeding, and giving dogs the attention they deserve. I follow feeding schedules, provide fresh water, make sure they get plenty of exercise and playtime, and give them the attention and affection they're used to. I also keep their environment clean, respect the owner's home, and send regular updates with photos so you know your pet is happy and doing well. If I'm caring for a pet in my home, I provide a safe, clean, and calm environment where they can feel comfortable and relaxed. I make sure they get plenty of exercise, mental stimulation, and companionship while closely following any instructions regarding feeding, medications, or routines. About: Once upon a time, I previously had two cats (long and short hair) Tyler and Charlie while also having a Cocker Spaniel named Sparky. The two cats both had hyperthyroidism requiring pills and saline via IV that I administered. One cat had a food allergy requiring them to feed in separate rooms. The long hair tabby got frequent hair balls and threw up. I also had a Cocker Spaniel named Sparky. Due to the high maintenance, I had minimal kitty and dog sitters, I know what it’s like to need one and find someone you trust. Our Pets are our children. After the three, I was heartbroken and do not have Pets at this time. It is a joy to Pet sit and house sit for you. Currently building my clientele on this website. As a professional pet and house sitter, it is enjoyable for me to take pets on walks, potty breaks and scoop liter. Happy to have a video call for an introduction. About: Hello, animal parents! I’m Taylor, a 36-year-old long-time professional animal and human caretaker with great references. I’m available for drop-in visits for cats, dogs, horses and other hoofed loved ones, as well as reptiles, amphibians, fish, and any other little critters. Need me to visit your tarantula? Growing up, there was always some kind of animal around: dogs, cats, fish, parakeets, and even chickens, ducks, and cows when I spent time with family in Laos. Being around these companions just been a normal and joyful part of life for me. One of the biggest reasons I'm here on Rover is because of my dog, Avery. Avery was my best friend for many years and taught me so much about patience, loyalty, and unconditional love. Like most pet owners, I talked to her like she was a person, and planned parts of my day around making sure she was happy. Since losing her, I've realized how much I miss having furry kids in my life and how much I genuinely enjoy caring for them. Over the years, I've become the friend people call when they're heading out of town and need someone they trust to watch their fur babies. About: My pet care experience started in 2017. At the beginning of 2022, I adopted a stray cat and she's amazing. She was my companion during the strict control policy of COVID-19 in China. Excepting pet sitting, I am also a full-time/part time independent caregiver and personal cook. I like caring for homes because cleaning for me is a special meditation.
