About: I care for every pet like they’re my own family member, not just a job on my calendar. When your pet is with me, they’re getting affection, and lots of attention to the little details that make them feel safe and at home, the same I give to my own pup (Q-pid). What sets me apart from other sitters is how intentional I am about routines and communication. I take the time to learn your pet’s normal behavior, quirks, and preferences so I can spot if something seems “off.” I follow your instructions closely (feeding schedule, walk times, meds, crate routines, training cues, etc.) so your pet’s day feels as familiar and stress-free as possible. You’ll also get regular photo updates and honest check-ins, so you never have to wonder how things are going. Whether your pet is a high-energy goofball, a shy introvert, or a wise old soul, my goal is always the same: to make them feel safe, loved, and understood while you’re away and to give you total peace of mind in the process. I'm currently a student with 1.5 - 3 hours of class per day. Taking care of my pet and your pet fits naturally into my daily routine. I ensure my daily routine allows me to actually be present with my pup and the animals I’m caring for, not just squeeze them in between other commitments. On weekends, my schedule is even more flexible, so I can accommodate longer walks, park trips (if you’re comfortable with that), and extended stays. Overall, I treat your pet’s care like a priority, not an afterthought. I plan my day around their needs so they get reliable, loving attention and you get peace of mind while you’re away. Safety and trust are my top priorities. And I treat your pet the same way I treat my own pup: with patience, respect, and a lot of care for the details that keep them happy and secure. I have a friendly resident pup, so I do slow, supervised introductions to make sure everyone feels safe. I watch body language closely and will always prioritize a calm, positive first meeting. If anyone seems overwhelmed, I separate, redirect, and give them space instead of forcing interaction. I keep a pet-safe environment: - Leashes are always used outside or in unsecured areas. - Doors and gates are checked and closed so no one can slip out. - Food, trash, and anything unsafe (chocolate, meds, etc.) stay well out of reach. - No access to toxic foods or plants - Trash secured and small objects kept out of reach - Doors and windows checked and locked before playtime Feeding is always supervised, and I never free-feed multiple dogs together. I separate pets during meals and high-value treats to avoid any resource guarding or tension. I follow your instructions on crate use, furniture rules, feeding routines, and treats. If your dog prefers their own crate or bed, I’ll make sure they have a quiet spot to relax and decompress away from extra stimulation. There’s always time built in for bathroom breaks, exercise, play, and just as importantly—rest. In your home: When I’m caring for your pet in your space, I follow your house rules and routines. I stick to the schedule you give me for walks, meals, meds, and playtime, so your pet’s day feels familiar and predictable. I double-check doors and gates, keep leashes and harnesses secured, and always monitor them closely on walks—no risky off-leash time unless you’ve specifically requested it and it’s in a safe area. Communication & peace of mind: You’ll get regular photo updates and honest notes about how your pet is doing—eating well, bathroom habits, energy level, anything I notice—so you can relax knowing they’re not just “okay,” they’re truly cared for. Whether in my home or yours, my goal is simple: a safe, calm, and loving environment where your pet can relax, have fun, and feel like they’re with family.
About: Years with my own dog taught me that dogs have a few universal talents: finding the muddiest puddle, convincing you they haven’t eaten in days five minutes after dinner, and making every walk an adventure. Volunteering at a shelter reminded me that behind all those funny moments is something even more important—every dog wants to feel safe, understood, and loved. I’ve become pretty fluent in “dog language.” 🐶 That’s why I take the time to get to know each dog’s personality and earn their trust. I think it’s the best part of spending time with them. My skills: * Understanding dog behavior and body language * Building trust with dogs of different personalities * Patient and gentle handling * Caring for dogs of different ages and temperaments * Following detailed care instructions * Providing companionship, play, and attention My schedule allows me to dedicate plenty of time to walks, playtime, and giving each dog the individual attention they need. I understand that dogs feel happiest and most comfortable when they can keep their familiar routine. I do my best to create a calm, safe, and consistent environment that feels as close to home as possible while their family is away. I work full-time, seven days a week, so I’m available to provide reliable and consistent care for your pets whenever you need it. Before caring for your pet, I like to learn the little details that make them unique — their favorite activities, walking habits, how they communicate, and what helps them feel comfortable. During each walk, visit, or house sitting stay, I’ll keep you updated with photos and messages so you can enjoy your time away knowing how your furry friend is doing. My goal is simple: for your dog to feel like they’re spending time with someone they trust!
“Aurelie agreed to walk Zumi on super short notice. From the pictures, Zumi seems to have loved her! She fed her and made sure to give her the probiotics she needed. Aurelie was a lifesaver!”

“Kyle is a true joy to work with. He is a top notch professional who has taken care of Randy, a very energetic 2-year old Border Collie for the past week. Kyle is punctual, courteous and a huge help to us. Randy comes home from his walk happy and tired out. Kyle is now part of our family and we look forward to many more happy times together!”
“Right away Carter bent down to be at my dog’s level and started loving on her. And Opal responded to this with giving him licks!! What a great sign!! Carter responded right away to Rover query, was polite and kind and genuinely into walking my dog. He’s an ace in my book!!”

“Lili is a very kind and thoughtful sitter. She was flexible with us and accommodated some changes to our schedule. She communicated well and always let us know what was going on with our dog while we were away. It was all greatly appreciated. We will definitely be asking her to watch her the next time we go out of town!”

“Megan graciously accepted my very last-minute request to walk our dog. She was very responsive and even cleaned up after my dog. I would definitely reach out to her again. Highly recommended!”

“Taylor is amazing. She has helped me out multiple times with my high energy pitbull. She’s done house sitting for a week and helps do weekly walks with my dog. It’s such a relief to know my pup is in safe hands and is getting love from Taylor at the same time.”

About: Hello! I'm a trustworthy, caring, pet & plant lover with years of pet- & home-sitting experience under my leash… er, belt. My very first foray into pet-sitting was as a teenager, when a family friend asked me to care for their pet rabbit while away. That lovely little rabbit was a great teacher – one lesson that really stuck was how all creatures are sacred, and deserving of love & respect. These days I most commonly look after dogs & cats, but also have experience with smaller animals (fish, birds, iguanas..), and have sat house for friends, family & strangers alike, the world over. I returned to the US after living & working abroad for several years, and am currently based in lovely and iconic Highland Park. I work from home, so no problem keeping your four-legged(s) company through the days, and providing ample outdoor breaks. I also have a daily meditation practice, which many of the pets I look after find either odd, amazing, or nothing special at all. Some have even been known to join in with me! I’d love to meet you and your furries, so please don’t hesitate to reach out any time. And if you’d like to speak with any of my previous clients, they’d be more than happy to give a reference. Thanks for checking me out – I hope to connect with you soon! As mentioned, I work from home. I'm online with clients for several hours of the day. All I really need is a good wifi connection and a (relatively) quiet place to work. My schedule is also quite flexible, so I can set longer breaks and rearrange my start and end times to better suit your pet's needs. Of course all the usual feeding, outdoor breaks, walking, snuggling, positive communication and energy. And then, as per the pet's and client's needs, I'm open and able to provide the best experience possible for your furries.
About: I truly love dogs and understand how much trust it takes to leave your furry family member with someone else. As a dog mom to three wonderful dogs, I know every dog has their own personality, routines, and quirks. All three of my dogs have passed the AKC Canine Good Citizen test, and I’ve also learned from professional dog trainers along the way. I will care for your dog as if they were my own—with patience, kindness, lots of attention, and plenty of love. I work remotely, which gives me a flexible schedule and allows me to be present throughout the day. Caring for pets is already a part of my daily routine with my own three dogs, so I’m used to walks, feeding schedules, playtime, and giving them the attention they need. I’ll do my best to accommodate your pet’s routine and keep you updated while you’re away. Your pet’s safety and comfort are always my top priorities. We live in a spacious two-story home with both a front yard and a backyard, giving dogs plenty of room to relax and explore. My own three dogs, all of whom have passed the AKC Canine Good Citizen test, typically stay upstairs, allowing me to thoughtfully manage introductions and create a comfortable environment for every pet. Our community is quiet, surrounded by fresh air and beautiful walking and hiking paths, so your dog can enjoy both exercise and enrichment. Whether your pup loves outdoor adventures or prefers cozy naps and companionship, I’ll make sure they feel safe, happy, and right at home.
About: I love dogs and cats. Happy to care for them in your home or on walks or playdates. They have their own personalities and that is so precious. I have experience with cats, dogs, puppies. It depends on the schedule, but sometimes I work from home so my schedule can be open. Lunch hours are flexible for me, so that is a good daily time for me to do walks and playdates and looking in on cats. I can be flexible about where and when I provide services, but I do need to get some information about clients and their neighborhood before I accept new clients. I will be asking some questions for my own personal comfort and safety. I will do at home visits, in hotel visits, walks, playdates, and at home house-sitting. I will not have pet care in my home as a service. If you live in LA or you are here on vacation, I am here for your dog so you can take a break for work or a social event or a massage or shopping.

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Pacific Palisades
Aurelie was so lovely with our pups and my akitas who are usually wary of new people welcomed her with hugs the first time! She definitely has that ‘je ne sais quoi’. She arrived on time, sent pics and was extremely diligent and communicative. While on a walk, a dog from our community got out and attacked my pup, she managed to ensure my dog did not get hurt and handled the incident like a pro! Thank you, Aurelie! We will be reaching out for more walks.
