I have a special place in my heart for senior dogs or dogs with special needs. My two little Shi Tzu mixes, Baxter and Wally love having overnight guests and are so welcoming, they even let them sleep in bed. Pet care is my job. I’m available to take care of your pet at my dog-friendly home or drop in for a walk in your neighborhood. I have a small fenced yard and 2 friendly Shi Tzu mixes that love other dogs to stay over I have a very pet friendly and calm home environment, rest assured your babies will be made to feel at home. They will enjoy the routines of their home life; calm meal times, lots of potty breaks, lots of soft and cozy spots to make their own.
About: I have been raised with 12 dogs at once in all sizes since the age of 8, my family is together because of it's dogs! We gravitate towards big dogs and rarely neutered them so i know how to deal with temperament. I can also easily decipher symptoms of possible illness and administer medicine on time if needed. I am very attentive towards my surroundings and am OCD when it comes to keeping homes clean. If you're dog is a rescue please tell me as they do require a little more special attention. Growing up we also had parakeets, to the point that we had professional painted pictures hung of them. I have owned and loved snakes, frogs, turtles, bearded dragons, hamsters, and bunnies throughout my life! Luckily, I'm animal and pet friendly! I work accounting from home! It works perfectly, they will have attention and I'm allowed breaks whenever as I work unsupervised! The pups won't even notice! Adventures all day! When you go on vacation, I make the pups feel like they're on vacation too! Hiking, boating, camping, festival, you name it! I will make sure to ask if any sensitivities!
“Lili is a very kind and thoughtful sitter. She was flexible with us and accommodated some changes to our schedule. She communicated well and always let us know what was going on with our dog while we were away. It was all greatly appreciated. We will definitely be asking her to watch her the next time we go out of town!”

“I needed a walker last minute, Ella got back to me right away and was able to help. It was my first time trying rover and I am more than happy with my experience My dog was extra happy when I got home so I know he enjoyed his walk! Thank you Ella!!!”

About: I’m generally available from 9am until late night (sorry, can’t really ever do 7-8am drop offs!). I’ve cared for dogs of all ages, sizes, and personalities—from tiny rescues to large energetic breeds. Growing up with four rescue dogs taught me patience and adaptability, and in recent years I’ve had hands-on experience with dogsitting and fostering puppies, anxious rescues, energetic doodles, strong shepherds, and even a very senior terrier who needed extra gentle care. Whether playful, shy, or older and slowing down, I make sure every dog feels safe, loved, and well cared for while you’re away. I keep a close eye and make sure to follow detailed instructions. Safety is a top priority: doors and gates are double-checked, walks are done with secure leashes, and I keep a close eye on each pet’s needs and behavior. I'm always available for calls and texts as well!

“We love Sabrina! Highly recommend her. She is quick to respond, super mindful of any special needs (my dog has allergies), and gives great updates. My pup is always so happy when I get home. So helpful to have a go to walker when we work long hours. Thank you so much!!”
About: Growing up, I was surrounded and owned at least one golden retriever at a time. Through my mom’s dog business, I have learned how to care best for dogs of all ages and sizes. On my own, I walk multiple dogs every week and have experience with overnight care with both cats and dogs. I am a senior at UCLA with lots of flexibility. I am located in Westwood and am originally from Santa Monica. My schedule is very flexible and I am all over Los Angeles/Santa Monica throughout the week. About: I’m Allison — a 26-year-old LA native who’s been a dog lover from day one! I grew up with four golden retrievers and have been pet-sitting (and babysitting!) since I was 12. I’m comfortable with all breeds, from tiny lap dogs to big energetic pups, and I always bring a balance of responsibility, reliability, and playful energy to every visit. I currently work full-time as a CPA but work from home, so I can easily adjust my schedule to fit your pup’s needs. Located in Brentwood, I’m ready to provide loving care, whether your dog needs a walking buddy, cuddle time, or just some company while you’re away. Please feel free to reach out and let me know how I can help you and your furry family member. I work from home most days as a full-time CPA, which gives me plenty of flexibility to care for your pet. I love going on morning and evening walks and would be happy to have a furry buddy join me! I’m a good communicator and respond quickly, so whether it’s planned ahead or a last-minute request, I’ll do my best to make it work. I’m happy to care for your pet either at your home or mine, depending on what works best for you and your furry friend. While I’m not allowed to have pets sleep overnight in my building, I can watch potty-trained dogs for short visits at my place. Because I work from home with a flexible schedule, I’m also glad to come to your home to provide care, walks, or even stay overnight if needed. I’m a very responsible communicator and will treat your pet as my own—keeping in touch regularly to share updates, alert you to any emergencies, or just send cute pictures to brighten your day. Safety, comfort, and trust are my top priorities, and I’m committed to making sure your pet feels loved and secure while you’re away.
“Right away Carter bent down to be at my dog’s level and started loving on her. And Opal responded to this with giving him licks!! What a great sign!! Carter responded right away to Rover query, was polite and kind and genuinely into walking my dog. He’s an ace in my book!!”

About: Hello! I'm a trustworthy, caring, pet & plant lover with years of pet- & home-sitting experience under my leash… er, belt. My very first foray into pet-sitting was as a young teenager, when a family friend asked me to care for their pet rabbit while away. That lovely little rabbit was a great teacher—one lesson that really stuck was how all creatures are sacred, and deserving of love & respect. These days I most commonly look after dogs & cats, but also have experience with smaller animals (fish, birds, iguanas..), and have sat house for friends, family & strangers alike, the world over. I returned to the US after living & working abroad for several years, and am currently based in lovely and iconic Highland Park. I work from home, so no problem keeping your four-legged(s) company through the days, and providing ample outdoor breaks. I also have a daily meditation practice, which many of the pets I look after find either odd, amazing, or nothing special at all. Some have even been known to join in with me! I’d love to meet you and your furries, so please don’t hesitate to reach out any time. And if you’d like to speak with any of my previous clients, they’d be more than happy to give a reference. Thanks for checking out my profile! As mentioned, I work from home. I'm online with clients for several hours of the day. All I really need is a good wifi connection and a (relatively) quiet place to work. My schedule is also quite flexible, so I can set longer breaks and rearrange my start and end times to better suit your pet's needs. Of course all the usual feeding, outdoor breaks, walking, snuggling, positive communication and energy. And then, as per the pet's and client's needs, I'm open and able to provide the best experience possible for your furries.

Brentwood dog parents share their Rover experiences
We reached out on short notice, but she was incredibly flexible and accommodating. Not only did she take our dog for a walk, she also kindly refreshed his food, water, and pee pads. We couldn’t be happier with her care, and we’ll definitely ask her to look after our dog again in the future!

I can’t recommend Therese enough! She really takes the time to understand each individual dog’s behavior and needs. One of my dogs is quite reactive and selective, and Therese handled her with so much patience, skill, and care. She took the time to learn what made my dog feel safe and adjusted her approach accordingly. It gave me huge peace of mind knowing she was in such capable hands. She also is a very clear and consistent communicator. Both of my dogs absolutely love her, and it’s clear that she genuinely loves what she does. If you’re looking for someone trustworthy, experienced, and incredibly thoughtful with animals, Therese is it!

Gloria was phenomenal! She went above and beyond to care for my sweet pup - checking on him and making sure he was comfortable and settled before and after each walk. She was prompt in response and made sure I was informed and engaged the whole time away from him. I can’t recommend her enough!
