Super reliable, easy to coordinate with, and he kept me updated the whole time with photos and their walks and runs. I could tell Xander was genuinely happy and well taken care of, which is everything to me. He was also really flexible when my return flight got delayed, which took a huge weight off my shoulders. That alone says a lot. But what really blew me away—he went way beyond just dog sitting. I came home and my place was noticeably tidier. He had cleaned up my coffee table and organized a few things, which I absolutely did not expect. That level of thoughtfulness is rare. You can tell he actually cares. Not just about the dog, but about doing a great job overall. I would 100% be booking him in the future.”

About: Having spent my life with dogs I know the love and joy they bring and always want to return the favor. I give dogs attention and playtime while also being attentive to when they need breaks and giving them time to slow down. I am currently working independently so I love to spend as much time as possible with pets. I have lots of availability for walks and check ins and am able to work my other job while dog sitting which offers even more flexibility. I live in Brentwood which is a very dog friendly area, perfect for walks and near the beach if you are interested in having me take your dog on a field trip!

About: I’ve been caring for dogs since I was young and have grown up with both Labs and Doodles. I also spent many years working at a summer camp where I cared for a variety of farm animals in addition to dogs, which gave me experience understanding different animals’ needs, routines, and personalities. My family and friends regularly trust me to care for their dogs while they’re away for a weekend or even a full week. I’m a recent graduate of UC Berkeley, where I studied Media Studies with a focus on Law and Policy. Throughout college, I balanced a full course load with several jobs and internships, including working in business operations for Cal Men’s Basketball and at Caffè Strada, as well as interning in the entertainment industry. These experiences have taught me to be dependable, organized, and attentive to detail. I’m responsible, active, and genuinely love spending time with animals. I’ll make sure your dog gets plenty of attention, exercise, and care while you’re away, and I’ll treat them like they’re my own! I work full time during the week, so pet care is something I primarily do on weekends. I love spending my weekends outdoors and staying active, so caring for a dog fits naturally into my routine. I’m available for weekend walks, drop-ins, overnight stays, and longer weekend trips, and I’m happy to work around each pet’s usual schedule and needs. Since I’m dedicating my weekends to pet care, I’m able to give dogs plenty of attention, exercise, and companionship while their owners are away. I have a fenced-in yard and no pets of my own, so your dog can have a comfortable, quiet space without having to adjust to other animals. I’m happy to follow their normal routine for feeding, walks, playtime, and anything else they need to feel at home. I’ll make sure they get plenty of exercise and attention, while also giving them time to relax and settle into a new environment. For stays in a client’s home, I’m respectful of their space and will follow all instructions closely. Whether your dog is staying with me or I’m caring for them in their own home, my goal is to make the experience as comfortable and stress-free as possible for both the pet and their owner.

About: I majored in animal science and was almost a vet! I always volunteer to watch my friends and familys pets! I have trained german shepherds and labs! I am available for walks during the week and most weekends! I just sometimes have to work out of town every other weekend but I’m very flexible! I have a fenced patio a front lawn. Brentwood is a great neighborhood to walk that is also only 3 miles away from the beach!

About: I’m a high-energy dog walker and runner who also house sits at your place. Long walks and real runs, not a quick loop around the block. Your dog stays in their own space with their own schedule, and I send updates so you know how they’re doing. I’m around for weekday mornings and late afternoons, plus overnight house sits at your place. Weekends work too. I stick to your dog’s usual feeding times and send a quick update after each visit. I use a harness and keep dogs leashed near traffic. For house sitting I stay in your home so they aren’t boarded with strangers. I follow your routines, lock up, and message you if anything seems off.
