Friendly work-from-home sitter!
I am the person at the party who is on the ground hanging out with your pet and the kids instead of the adults :) I grew up on 5 acres in Oregon, where we had cats, dogs, goats, llamas, horses, bunnies, birds, lizards, you name it! Since I was 16, I've always had a pet of my own, usually a cat or a dog. I am very attentive and good at following any training wishes and rules you have for your pets.

Kara was great. She house sat with our dog and three cats, which we had never done before - we usually bring the dog somewhere else. We were worried but it was clear early on that the animals were immediately at ease with her and in good hands. She was responsive and kind, and sent some cute photos! Thanks Kara!
Kara is one of my pups favorite people. My dog Darla is always magnetized to her and wants to spend every moment in her presence spent glued to her lap with her head on her chest. She has watched Darla for me many times, and even helped me when Darla was recovering from having 13 teeth pulled. I always trust that Kara is attentive and loving to my girl and I can tell how much Darla loves and appreciates her nurturing and magical nature. Kara is like a real life fairy dog mother. She loves nature walks and encourages curiosity which translates so well for animals. She is not the type to rush a sniff on a walk or make a day boring! She is intentional and loving with everything she does and animals adore her energy. She is trustworthy, respectful, neat and so very thoughtful. I can’t say enough good things!
Kara watched our doodle while we were out of town for a long weekend. She also checked in on our two cats in our home. She was very kind and professional to meet with before we left for a quick overview on their care, and I felt very comfortable to leave them with her. Kara also brought her dog along to ensure they could live together for a few days. Kara was kind enough to send pictures and update us on how our dog was settling into her space the entire time. Our dog especially came bursting through the door with her tail wagging to greet us, so I know she was well loved with Kara. I would definitely book w Kara again- thank you for taking care of all our fur babies for us!! :)
Kara has been our go-to for pet sitting for many years! We have a high-energy husky that requires a lot of attention, exercise, and love. Kara matches her energy so well and our dog loves when Kara takes care of her! We also have a cat that loves Kara and immediately feels relaxed in Karas presence, which is rare for our cat. Overall, Kara takes watching our animals very seriously and treats them as her own while we are away. We always feel so secure leaving them under her care. She is the best and we recommend her always!
We have two Devon Rex cats that are very emotionally needy and require expert care. Kara has taken such good care of them that she has usurped me as their favorite human! She is always on time, loving, and extremely reliable. Honestly, I wish she would move in! 10/10
What a dream and a lifesaver Kara is. She is so good with my corgi. My dog is a little high energy and kara knows just how to meet her where she’s at. Amazing at sending pics and videos, always on time and responsive. I get goodnight and good mornings pics and updates about walks. Really gave us peace of mind while traveling.

Schedule
Pet care is built-in to my lifestyle. I work from home, and our dog Rosie keeps me company all day. We go on three walks a day, and when I am done working, she comes over knowing that it's pet & play time for a little while to unwind. On the weekends, we like to get to the dog park that is a 15-minute walk away.

We have a one-bedroom apartment that is very pet-friendly. I can make space for a crate if your pet uses one. No yard, but as I mentioned, we take our walks seriously and make sure to get lots of indoor and outdoor playtime. Happy to send photos of how your fur baby is doing, or anything else that helps ensure safety and peace of mind!
