I’ve been caring for dogs for over 10 years and have always had a deep love for them, especially my family dog, Potter. Since my apartment doesn’t allow pets, Rover gives me the chance to enjoy my daily dose of dog time and long walks while providing attentive, reliable care.

I care for pets as if they were my own, prioritizing safety, routine, and individual needs. I’m typically the go-to for my friends who are dog owners. In a client’s home, I follow all care instructions closely with feeding schedules, walks, medication (if applicable), and preferred routines so pets feel comfortable and secure. I make sure they get plenty of attention, exercise, and affection, while keeping the home clean and respecting the space. I also provide regular updates so owners feel confident their pet is well cared for.

Melissa was fantastic for a crazy week of walks, drop-in visits, and house sitting! She was patient, communicative, and professional with me and Finn! She handled my pet wonderfully, even though he was initially hesitant, he quickly warmed up and was excited anytime she stopped by. I’d highly recommend her!!

Schedule
I have a hybrid schedule so I’m pretty flexible. I also live about 10 min away from my job, so I may able to do late afternoon - evening walks if needed.
