Hi! I would love for my home to be considered your pets second home! I am right in the Brentwood / west la area, I have a lot of experience with all breeds, shapes, sizes and ages. I live in a smoke free home, it is kept very clean with air purifiers throughout. Below is a 10 question FAQ list that I typically get with screening, feel free to message me with any other questions, thank you reading and hope to see you soon! :-) 1.) what is your overall experience with dogs in brief? I can confidently say I’ve devoted a lot of my life around dogs from owning, training, and caring from them — I’ve worked closely with a lot of rescues, shelters, and non profits for dogs from high school all the way to college undergrad. My familiarity has expanded as well with all types of breeds, ages, sizes, and energy levels — I’ve probably trained and watched over 400+ dogs and counting since 2020, so you can book with confidence as I am someone who can cultivate a great experience for you and your pet :). 2.) will I provide videos/photos/updates during the stay? yes, pictures, videos, and daily updates will always be sent everyday, also their steps taken, just for transparency to let you know how active they have been. Some would like daily updates and some every few days, either or I’m happy to always provide photos and videos just to ensure their owner they’re in great hands and is having a good time with me. 3.) how many times can I take them outside for walks / potty breaks? you can expect up to 10,000+ steps a day (if needed) some dogs I understand don’t require much walking and are fine with fewer walks, but for high energy dogs I can accommodate those needs pretty easily — some older / senior dogs don’t require that much walking, where I taper it down, for dogs active and high energy, up to 10,000 a day or 5 ish miles will be achieved just to keep them active and moving. 4.) do I offer discounts / lower pricing on longer stays? - yes, as someone who uses rover for my dog, i understand the app fees, sales tax, holiday fees can be a lot of extra money so id love to offer a discount especially for longer stays just to help out, I am willing to accommodate and work with budgets, the quality of care will be the same and you’ll save a couple bucks as well. I typically would offer this if the stay is at least 2 weeks or longer as the fees and sales tax gets a little higher around that time duration. 5.) do you do meet and greets? Do you charge for it? - I do meet and greets and do NOT charge, I just humbly ask that the meet and greet are with intentions on booking, as they can take up a lot of time, other rover sitters charge because of that reason, but I don’t charge for meet and greets. However, if there is more candidates you’re interviewing for the booking, I would love to know for transparency. 6.) can you pick my dog up or drop them off? Can you drop them off to any special appointments? I’m not always able too, but feel free to request it and I’ll do my best to try to accommodate that for no extra charge or fee, typically it would be 1-3 miles radius. And yes I understand your schedule can be busy while your out of town or away from your dog, if they have for example a grooming or vet visit scheduled I am more than happy to take them there and pick them up 7.) can I request special needs for my pet? - yes, I am pretty understanding for special situations at no extra cost, where I can help out with certain things. For example, If you need a extra day because your flight is delayed or got back home late, you can always request it at no extra charge, I am pretty flexible, or if they need to be dropped off to get grooming, etc, stuff like that I am usually pretty flexible and can help! 8.) do you watch multiple dogs at once? Yes and no, I do only if the profile states the dog gets along with others, had their vaccinations, is typically if they are fixed (female and male) usually if I can check those 3 boxes off the dogs always have a great time together. I never had any problem with watching multiple dogs and I think it’s because of that checklist, to mitigate any issues and to insure they get the proper care I only take on 1-3 max at a time. If they don’t get along with other dogs I never accept them, you can request your dog be alone as well — but only if the schedule has no pending or upcoming bookings, I sm fine just watching them solo if they prefer it. 9.) what separates you from other sitters? Any perks? I run Google and Facebook ads for a lot of dog brands and e-commerce brands so often I have a bunch of products you can take home for free at no charge — from treats, supplements, grooming, and everything surrounding health and wellness, I believe not most sitters have access to these perks and I think getting a care package upon pick up 10.) what can I expect the internal or external environment to be like? Internally, or inside the home, you can expect a very clean, safe, and cozy environment — I have biweekly cleaners come and deep clean my apartment and inside I have heaters for colder days and air conditioning for hotter days. I also have air purifiers (air doctor) and fans (Dyson) to keep the air quality clean for them. Externally or outside the apartment the area is really dog friendly with stoner park, Brentwood park, landmark park, and many others in the area I can take them on.
