About: My first dog was when I was 5 yrs old and have had 6 since then. I have been a reliable source for my friends to love their dogs like my own and have dog sat, walked, and even taken them camping for a nature break. I chose River to fill the void of not being allowed dogs where I live. They are simply the best! I am currently working from home with weekends off which allows me a very flexible schedule to walk and care for your dogs when needed. I live in a dog friendly neighborhood and have a park within walking distance. Your pets safely is my main concern. I will always treat you fur baby with kindness and care.

About: I grew up taking care of pets! My childhood dog Olivier was an unusual mix; he was an eye-catching, mutant-sized Dachshund who got a lot of attention walking down the street, and we had a couple of independent-minded kitties. My family still has multiple dogs and cats. I absolutely adore dogs and feel strongly about tuning in to who they are - if they want to play, it's on! If it's a shy guy or gal, I respect their space if and until they feel more comfortable. I facilitate healing workshops and I'm an artist with a variable schedule that I keep up-to-date on my Rover calendar. I'm currently living in a building that doesn't allow dogs and I love cats but am super allergic. So daily pet care for me is making friends with and greeting my doggy neighbors. When I've had pets or boarded them previously with Rover, I always make sure to find out the basics of their personality from you, their favorite human. They deserve the same consideration we give people! Currently only offering walks, not boarding.

About: I've always had fur babies in my life! XXL and XXS, I've been able to love them all! I have extensive experience with "aggressive" breeds, we get each other :) I work in a flexible work environment and can accommodate easily with at least 2 days notice during the week and even more availability on weekends. I am meticulous when it comes to caring for fur babies of all sizes. I myself have very direct bullet point lists of every detail of my fur babies needs and will follow any guidelines to a T as required :)

About: I’ve loved animals my entire life and connecting with animals of all kinds is my greatest joy. Rescued is my favourite breed, and I specialize in watching senior pets and special needs pets. I have experience with seniors who require medications and particular care, as well as special needs, including but not limited to blind, deaf, and three-legged pets. I have a flexible work schedule and when I’m not at work, I’m a huge homebody and live alone, so your pet will get tons of one-on-one attention and love. I don’t have any dogs or cats of my own, and I only watch one dog at a time, so if your pet needs to be the sole pet, then we are a perfect fit. I do have one sweet senior guinea pig; she can be secured in another room if you’re worried about your pet bothering her. I absolutely love watching small pets as well and have tons of experience with guinea pigs. Please note that I currently work hybrid and go into work 2-3x a week. However I only have to be there from 10-3, so your pet would only be alone for a max of five hours. Luckily my work is super flexible, so if I need to adjust my hours or office days for your pet, please let me know and I can adjust my schedule. My office is also super dog friendly, if you think they’d like to come with me! My place is very quiet; I live alone and never have people over, and I’m home most of the time, so I’m great for anxious or shy pets. I also only board one dog at a time, so your pet will get 100% of my attention, which is also great for shy and nervous dogs who don’t do well with other dogs. (If you have two dogs I’m happy to watch them together, I just don’t watch dogs from different families at once.) I don’t have a backyard, but I do have a spacious balcony for your dog to sunbathe. I’m on the top floor and my building has an elevator, which is ideal for senior and special needs pups. Your pet is welcome anywhere in my apartment, from the couch to my bed, my home is their home.

About: I have been pet sitting cats & dogs on Rover for 2 years and I have been a cat mom my whole life and currently have 4 cats. I’m very intuitive to cats personalities and needs and feel that I can get along with any cats! I am less experienced with dogs but still tuned into their needs and am very punctual and thorough with engaging them and keeping them on their schedules. I currently work remotely and have a very flexible schedule that allows me to accommodate almost any visit times that are needed. This makes overnights easy for me as I don’t have to leave your pet if I need to get work done. In our house of 4 cats we focus a lot on routine and schedule to keep them feeling comfortable and happy. Since I work remotely I am able to be present to adhere to whatever schedule the pet needs in regards to feeding/medication/walks. I focus on maintaining routine for pets because it helps the most with the anxiety of being separated from their owner.
