About: I’ve loved animals my entire life and connecting with animals of all kinds is my greatest joy. Rescued is my favourite breed, and I specialize in watching senior pets and special needs pets. I have experience with seniors who require medications and particular care, as well as special needs, including but not limited to blind, deaf, and three-legged pets. I have a flexible work schedule and when I’m not at work, I’m a huge homebody and live alone, so your pet will get tons of one-on-one attention and love. I don’t have any dogs or cats of my own, and I only watch one dog at a time, so if your pet needs to be the sole pet, then we are a perfect fit. I do have one sweet senior guinea pig; she can be secured in another room if you’re worried about your pet bothering her. I absolutely love watching small pets as well and have tons of experience with guinea pigs. Please note that I currently work hybrid and go into work 2-3x a week. However I only have to be there from 10-3, so your pet would only be alone for a max of five hours. Luckily my work is super flexible, so if I need to adjust my hours or office days for your pet, please let me know and I can adjust my schedule. My office is also super dog friendly, if you think they’d like to come with me! My place is very quiet; I live alone and never have people over, and I’m home most of the time, so I’m great for anxious or shy pets. I also only board one dog at a time, so your pet will get 100% of my attention, which is also great for shy and nervous dogs who don’t do well with other dogs. (If you have two dogs I’m happy to watch them together, I just don’t watch dogs from different families at once.) I don’t have a backyard, but I do have a spacious balcony for your dog to sunbathe. I’m on the top floor and my building has an elevator, which is ideal for senior and special needs pups. Your pet is welcome anywhere in my apartment, from the couch to my bed, my home is their home.

My childhood dog Olivier was an unusual mix; he was an eye-catching, mutant-sized Dachshund who got a lot of attention walking down the street, and we had a couple of independent-minded kitties. Their home is perfectly set up for a pup’s stay, including a doggie door to their lovely enclosed backyard. Jaimie and Todd are delightful, kind, warm, welcoming and they clearly love taking care of dogs. I wouldn’t hesitate to use them again!”

“Claudine was wonderful. I was really anxious about leaving our 1.5-year-old dog with someone for the first time — and for a full two weeks — but Claudine put me at ease right away. She consistently sent photos, videos, and updates, which made our vacation so much more relaxing knowing our pup was in such good hands. We’re also very grateful for the level of care she provided at such a fair cost. Other sitters we looked at (even those with backyards) had higher rates, and as a bonus, our pup got to sleep on the bed and couch. About: Grew up with dogs since I was 10 so I understand their needs and complains. Love small and big dogs. We have fence grass yeard and a lot space in door. Taking care of your dog will be my dog therapy time! Fridays to Sundays. I'm flexible for pick up or drop off time. Also can take dogs overnight during Mondays to Thurdays if you pick up in the morning before I go to work. I don't feed them any food you don't want them to eat. We have single family house with fenced backyard. We have two people, no pet, no kid. We both love dogs so much that elder dogs are sometimes tired of our attention. We both grew up with dogs so we know it all about basic diet, walking, potty, play time things.
“Sophia was wonderful with Lola this weekend! She looked after her really, really well and gave her lots of cuddles and attention, which made us so happy. She was communicative throughout, and we came home to a very happy, well-loved doggy. We were really pleased with how well she cared for Lola, and have already asked if Sophia is available to look after Lola again! ❤️”
