About: I have grown up with dogs since I was 5 years old caring for 3 dogs till old age! I have experience caring for senior dogs and have demonstrated patience in caring for my senior dog until he was 19. I am currently job seeking, so I have a lot of flexibility in my schedule to take care of dogs! I am free mostly in the daytime but can adjust if needed. About: I have 2 lovely cats of my own for 6 years and I am fluent in cats. One of my cats is very shy and sensitive, so I know how to win the heart of more shy cats with play and just learning their unique personality. With dogs, I have experience taking care of friends dogs when they travel and walking them. I work full-time from home and have relatively flexible schedule. I can check on your cats and dogs as well as taking your dog on a walk. I understand the importance of routine in a pets life. I am very respectful of their boundary and acknowledge the importance of play to get all that energy and excitement out of them.

About: I’ve loved animals my entire life and connecting with animals of all kinds is my greatest joy. Rescued is my favourite breed, and I specialize in watching senior pets and special needs pets. I have experience with seniors who require medications and particular care, as well as special needs, including but not limited to blind, deaf, and three-legged pets. I have a flexible work schedule and when I’m not at work, I’m a huge homebody and live alone, so your pet will get tons of one-on-one attention and love. I don’t have any dogs or cats of my own, and I only watch one dog at a time, so if your pet needs to be the sole pet, then we are a perfect fit. I do have one sweet senior guinea pig; she can be secured in another room if you’re worried about your pet bothering her. I absolutely love watching small pets as well and have tons of experience with guinea pigs. Please note that I currently work hybrid and go into work 2-3x a week. However I only have to be there from 10-3, so your pet would only be alone for a max of five hours. Luckily my work is super flexible, so if I need to adjust my hours or office days for your pet, please let me know and I can adjust my schedule. My office is also super dog friendly, if you think they’d like to come with me! My place is very quiet; I live alone and never have people over, and I’m home most of the time, so I’m great for anxious or shy pets. I also only board one dog at a time, so your pet will get 100% of my attention, which is also great for shy and nervous dogs who don’t do well with other dogs. (If you have two dogs I’m happy to watch them together, I just don’t watch dogs from different families at once.) I don’t have a backyard, but I do have a spacious balcony for your dog to sunbathe. I’m on the top floor and my building has an elevator, which is ideal for senior and special needs pups. Your pet is welcome anywhere in my apartment, from the couch to my bed, my home is their home.

About: I’ve been around and lived with animals since I was born. I’ve never spent a period of my life without a dog in my care. I also have extensive experience caring for cats as well. I take not just the love and care of animals seriously but also training. I believe that a pet deserves to feel secure, safe and structured in life and that’s why I’m not just there to provide pets and food but also structured walks, mental stimulation and more. I have a Shetland sheepdog, so I understand the value in being more than just a caregiver to an animal. I work from home so I have the flexibility to stop by and walk your pet or care for them throughout the day. I also am done with work at 2 pm every day so my afternoons and evenings are very open. I have my own dog so I can’t spend every moment with your pet or at your house but I am able to be there consistently. I know first-hand just how scary it can be to leave your pet (your baby!) with someone else because of my unyielding love for animals and my personal attachment to the importance of being reliable, communicative and kind to pets in my care, you will never have to worry that your baby is in safe hands. I care for pets but not only being reliable and caring when it comes to affection, feeding and more but I try to be very structured with my care depending on the pet. For many dogs, that looks like walks every few hours, offering brain games like puzzles and trick training and setting them up for a relaxed and calm environment when they return home.

About: My name is Caroline and I am a dedicated dog and cat lover. Before moving into an apartment from home, I lived with two dogs and three cats that I helped raise and care for for over 10+ years. I am experienced in caring for both dogs and cats and understand each of their individual needs. I have raised both kittens and puppies. I have also spent a lot of time volunteering as a dog walker and caregiver to dogs at the Humane Society. Although I do not have any personal pets in my apartment, I love spending time with animals and I frequently volunteer to take care of friend's pets when they need help including dog walking, house sitting and cat sitting. I am available to walk, house sit or do drop ins most days of the week!

About: I was so obsessed with dogs as a kid I would pretend to be one, as my sisters love to remind me. Eventually my family adopted a greyhound when I was 7 and a chihuahua mix when I was 14 so I have experience with both big and small dogs. I also cared for my own senior dog with lots of medical ailments as an adult so I have a lot experience there too. I miss him dearly and would love to give back to this wonderful Rover community and help others with their dogs now that I am primarily focusing on taking care of my (human) child! I work remotely so I am fairly flexible on the weekdays during working hours. I also don’t travel much so weekends are usually no problem too. But it’s best to consider me an occasional dog walker vs a daily one. I am incredibly organized and will make sure everything is left as it was when I arrived. I care for pets as if they are my own and will follow all house rules.

About: I've been pitching in to take care of my family's shih tzu/terrier since 2018, this includes walks, feeding, and potty breaks. The past couple summers, I got paid to take care of Ziggy and decided to seek out similar work. I don't rush walks and I always leave the neighborhood as clean as I found it! Normally I work as an Usher at the Kirk Douglas Theatre in Culver City. But during the off season I walk my dog everyday and even when I work I always find time to feed my animals. I'm open to long or short walks, it really depends on your dog's needs. When it comes to in house care as long as you have the food (and cleaning supplies in case your dog isn't quite potty trained yet,) then I have everything I need to make sure your friend is taken care of while you're away.

About: Hello! My name is Ayala. Ever since I was a child I loved animals and my appreciation for them has grown as I got older. My experience in pet care is from caring for friends pets over the years. I really enjoy spending time with furry friends, playing with them, caring for their individual needs, and taking them out for walks around the neighborhood. About: I have been pet sitting cats & dogs on Rover for 2 years and I have been a cat mom my whole life and currently have 4 cats. I’m very intuitive to cats personalities and needs and feel that I can get along with any cats! I am less experienced with dogs but still tuned into their needs and am very punctual and thorough with engaging them and keeping them on their schedules. I currently work remotely and have a very flexible schedule that allows me to accommodate almost any visit times that are needed. This makes overnights easy for me as I don’t have to leave your pet if I need to get work done. In our house of 4 cats we focus a lot on routine and schedule to keep them feeling comfortable and happy. Since I work remotely I am able to be present to adhere to whatever schedule the pet needs in regards to feeding/medication/walks. I focus on maintaining routine for pets because it helps the most with the anxiety of being separated from their owner.
