About: I've worked with or had pets of my own for years and I've gone through training for my fearful reactive dog so I know each per deserves personalized care! Puzzle toys? Long walks? Cuddles? No cuddles? All good here. I work part time currently so it's best we figure out beforehand if I can meet your pets needs! Typically on a workday I'd be unable to stop by for 8 hours out of the day. Let me know if they need more care please! I can accommodate whatever you need, let's discuss! I'm pretty active but I'm also a fairly quiet person when the occasion calls for it, so I guess I'm adaptable! I can't host other pets currently.
“Stephanie was super communicative and immediately good with my anxious little chihuahua mix. She let him come to her on his own terms. She is obviously very experienced and knew just what to do to allow him to feel safe with her which put my mind at ease. I trust her a thousand percent!”

About: i’m lauren! im new to los angeles, but not new to pet sitting! ive spent the last 5 years taking care of animals in Phoenix and owning my own senior dog for a short time. I work from home and I can usually spend a lot of time with your animals while they’re in my care and it’s easy for me to step out to go on walks. However, I get sent on work trips quite a bit so my schedule works best for short, 3-5 day pet-sitting gigs. I work from home full time so I can cater to your pets routine whether it’s morning walks, midday treats, or potty breaks every few hours. I love to send plenty of photos and updates. I’m also very clean and respectful of other people’s spaces if I’m visiting your home to watch your animal
“Rebekah was great! She sent detailed updates, photos and videos while I was away. My cars are usually scared of strangers but they warmed up to her after only one day! Have already booked her again. Highly recommend!”

“Eric did an amazing job looking after my 8 month kitten when I was going away for holiday for 2 weeks. I had travel logistics that made handing off the keys a little bit difficult, but Eric was super flexible and responsive which made the whole experience very smooth. He is great with cats and got along with Callie immediately. The home was in great condition when I came back as well. If you are looking for a responsible sitter for your pet, look no further than Eric! He even brought over some toys for her to play with that he let us keep afterwards. 100/100!”

About: I have a 12-year-old westie who's been my best friend since I got him as a puppy. I've been through every stage of dog-caring, and will love your small pup like they're my own. I'm currently laid off and job-searching, so I have plenty of time to keep your pet company or stop by for walks or potty breaks. I live in a nice apartment complex downtown that's very dog-friendly. Plenty of spots for peeing, sniffing, and walking, and my place is cozy and spacious with big windows for patrolling.
About: I've taken care of cats and dogs of various ages since I was 13 years old. I grew up with cats and dogs (multiple), and I love caring for animals. I also fostered a lab puppy during the pandemic for a couple months. I work in the music business in marketing but my job is fully remote so I'm very flexible. Since I cannot own my own pet right now, looking to do something I love like this on the side. :) I currently work full time but it's all remote work so I'm very flexible and can work on my phone. I cannot have my own pets at this time in my life so this would bring me so much joy. :) I cannot watch pets at my studio apartment, but I am happy to stay / visit other client's homes to watch their animals, take them on walks, and whatever else is needed!
“Jessica was wonderful with Rowan 🤍 Communicative, reliable, and very sweet with him. I felt totally at ease knowing he was in such good hands. Would absolutely book with her again!”

“Desiree was great! Super communicative, easy to work with, flexible, and kind. She took great care of my cat and made me feel like I was in good hands my whole trip.”

About: For the past seven years, I’ve had the good fortune of sharing life with my fox red Labrador retriever. He has traveled with me through Hawaii, Louisiana, Georgia, New Jersey, and now California. Along the way, I learned that dogs do not need perfection from us. They need patience, consistency, exercise, and someone they can trust. My approach is influenced by Stonnie Dennis and his belief that a good dog is developed through calm leadership, clear expectations, real-world experiences, and plenty of worthwhile adventure. I’m not a professional trainer, but I’m comfortable reinforcing established commands, leash manners, household rules, and daily routines. I believe dogs learn best when they are engaged, treated fairly, and given the chance to explore the world with confidence. When I care for someone’s dog, I try to give them what I would want for my own: a steady hand, a good walk, some play, and the feeling that everything is all right until their person comes home. My schedule is very flexible, which allows me to make pet care a regular part of my day rather than something I have to squeeze in. I’m available throughout the week for walks, drop-in visits, and longer stays, including mornings, evenings, and weekends. I’m comfortable adjusting to each pet’s routine and can usually accommodate both planned bookings and last-minute needs. Whether your dog needs an early walk, company during the day, or someone dependable while you are away, I’m ready to help. I believe trust begins with respecting a pet’s normal routine. In a client’s home, I follow instructions closely, keep doors and gates secure, use a leash whenever required, and make sure feeding, walks, medication, and household rules are handled exactly as requested. I also treat the home itself with care and provide regular updates so owners know how their pet is doing. If I’m caring for a pet in my home, introductions are handled slowly and calmly, especially around my own Labrador. I supervise interactions, give each dog space when needed, and never force play or attention. My goal is to create a steady, comfortable environment where pets feel safe, understood, and cared for until their family returns.
“Yasmin is amazing! I felt so comfortable being away with my dogs in her care. I received great updates with each drop-in. She’s a great communicator and I would not hesitate to hire her!”
“This was my first time using Rover and Nico made sure to make it the most seamless introduction possible. I booked him last minute with my wife in labor and he stepped in and gave the most outstanding care to my Cavapoo and took such great care of him. He provided many updates and followed every request on the instructions. To find such great help in a time of need was amazing. Nico is very personable as well and I look forward to using him as a sitter for Brownie in the future!!”

“Ariane was wonderful with my cat Bella. I travel frequently for work and struggle to find last minute drop-in care for her. Ariane came to the rescue! I definitely plan to book with her again!”

“Kasumi is a lifesaver! She always comes through when I have an emergency and need her last minute. I’ve used her many times to visit my cat Pascal and to walk my dog Lilou. Both of my animals love her! Thank you so much, Kasumi!”

“Hannah was amazing with our two cats when we were out of town for a week! She was so responsive and communicative and even cleaned up a plant when one of our cats got into it. She sent multiple pictures after each visit which was so nice as well! :)”

About: Dogs have always been a big part of my life, and I have over 10 years of experience caring for my family, friends’, and neighbors’ pets. I used to volunteer at an animal shelter where I helped with puppies, welcoming potential adopters, and organizing donations. I currently have a dog of my own (a 5.5 year old poodle mix) and understand how important consistency, patience, and clear communication are. Whether your dog loves playtime or just having a calm companion around, I’ll make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and well cared for while you’re away. I provide regular updates and treat every pet as if they were my own. I’m currently on summer break from law school and working part-time, which gives me a flexible schedule for pet care. I’m available for drop-in visits on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays, and weekends. As a dog owner myself, I understand the importance of consistency and will make sure your pet receives reliable care, attention, exercise, and companionship while you’re away. As a dog owner, I plan my day around my pet’s needs and will do the same for yours. Whether that means waking up early for a walk before the weather gets too warm, sticking to a specific feeding schedule, or providing enrichment through puzzle toys, treats, and playtime, I prioritize each pet’s comfort and well-being. I’m attentive to routines, safety instructions, and any special needs, and I will always keep you updated so you can feel confident your pet is in good hands.
About: We're writers and seasoned pet lovers/carers who live in a two-bedroom apartment in Silver Lake with a bucolic fenced in yard. We're ready to love-bomb your pup and ply them with as many treats as they are allowed to have. Senior pups and youngins welcome. We'll toss balls or play tug of war or lounge around. Your pup's wish is our command. We recently said goodbye to our pup of 17+ years and miss tail wags and dog antics. We only host one pup at a time and that way we give your pup all our love and full attention during their stay. We both work from home, and are active folks who love to go on long walks around the neighborhood, or chill on the couch if that's what your pup prefers. We also have a closed-in yard with birds visiting the feeders and fountain, and we enjoy sitting outside with a furry friends on nice days. We just said goodbye to our furry bestie after 17+ years together and suffice it to say, our lives revolved around him. Be it cooking him gourmet meals from scratch, taking him on multiple walks a day, or strolls in a cart when his legs became too weak, we were always together. We miss having dog energy in the home and would be thrilled to cuddle up or pal around with your pup. We have central AC and Heat too, so if your pup gets hot or cold, we're on the case.

Pet parents share their Rover experiences - Silver Lake
Kaitline bunny-sat my rabbit for 4 days and everything went flawlessly. She took amazing care of my aloof little girl and managed to get in her good graces so quickly! She took detailed notes and the most incredible photos every visit and it gave me such peace of mind during my trip. Looking forward to booking her again soon!!

ERIC IS THE BEST!! I am a huge animal lover and have pet sit on rover myself so I have pretty high expectations. From the very start, he was so accommodating with meeting with me to discuss our kittens routine/the plan. He took his own thorough notes and perfectly followed them!! He checked in regularly, and always sent a text before he arrived to our place. He even made sure to plan the final day check in so that when we got back, all the kittens needs were met/ reset so that we could relax after a late flight. I really could not say enough great things. We will absolutely ask him to pet sit for us again and you should to! 😊

Alexandra took wonderful care of Barney! She came by twice today to check on him and take him for his evening walk, and I really appreciated her help. She followed all of our instructions and Barney was happy and well cared for. I’ve only used Rover a few times, but I’ve always booked with Alexandra because she’s reliable, caring, and easy to work with.

Anel was absolutely amazing taking care of my munchkin British Shorthair, Bunny! From the start she was quick to respond and super attentive to every little detail. She went above and beyond to make sure not only that Bunny was safe, but that I felt completely comfortable having her in my home while I was away that peace of mind meant everything. She followed every single instruction to the letter, no issues at all, and showed up at the correct time every single day for her check-ins. Each visit she sent multiple photos and videos along with a summary of what she did, so I always knew exactly how Bunny was doing. Thanks to Anel, my vacation was so much more relaxing knowing my sweet baby was fed, happy, and well cared for back home. I’d trust her with Bunny again in a heartbeat highly recommend her to anyone looking for a sitter who truly treats your pet like family!
