About: I grew up with cats and have always loved animals, but dogs have my heart these days — I have a 4-year-old dog of my own. Due to a recent life change, I only have him with me a couple of weeks a month, and I miss having a dog around way more than I expected. That’s what brought me to Rover — I want to fill that gap by giving another pup the love and attention I’d normally be giving mine. I have hands-on experience with puppies as well as small to mid-size dogs. I live in a multi-family home in Silver Lake with a fenced yard, in a walkable neighborhood that’s great for daily walks and sniff breaks. I also have the flexibility to work from home, so when I have a dog in my care, I’ll be around at home. I’m flexible most days of the week. Since I have the option to work from home, I’m able to be with your dog all day. I live in a multi-family home with a fenced yard in a walkable Silver Lake neighborhood — great for daily walks and outdoor time. Before any dog comes to stay, I make sure to dog-proof the space, putting away anything they might be able to reach or get into, so it’s a safe environment from the moment they arrive.

About: Familiar with taking care of dogs of all sizes (small- xl) and at all ages. Experience with shelter dogs, giving medication, and reactive/ special behavioral needs dogs. Currently volunteering at Pasadena Humane with dog handling and animal training. Two years of experience working at a dog daycare + basic obedience training. I am currently freelancing so I will have plenty of time to walk, play, and care for your pets! I’m very flexible with scheduling and am conscious of how the weather might affect your pet as well. On Saturdays, I will be free after 3:00pm. For dogs in my home or in your home, I like to make sure your pet has the things they need. If it's a special toy, a crate (so they have their own den area), extra tasty treats, you name it, I want to know it! I am also super sensitive about how the weather might affect your pet– especially for the super big and fluffy pups. General in home care revolves around a scheduled routine that works best for your pet, with multiple potty and sniff breaks. I want to make sure your pet feels as comfortable as possible, even if they are a little bit on the anxious side.  I am familiar with walking a variety of different sized dogs with various behavioral needs. Additionally, I am comfortable walking and working with reactive dogs, and find watching them to be a very rewarding experience. I will work with a sense of care and caution to make sure I understand how your dog expresses their comfortability with both me, the leash, and the environment around them.  Generally speaking, I love to get to know a bit more about pups before meeting them! From there I can easily anticipate some of their needs based on behavior, environment, and breed.

About: My Pepper, Benji, and Koko can attest to my love of dogs and joy of taking them for walks. I also know that every dog is a unique character. My walks are tailored to your dog's energy level and pace. At home, I aim to make certain their food and water is fresh and delivered in the same way they are accustomed to. Is it warmed? With broth? Dry? I'll treat your pet like family so that you can be worry free during your time away. If you don't count my kitty, I just became an empty-nester which gives me a very flexible schedule. Then, when I considered my options for this new phase of life, I thought about how I find enormous joy in taking care of furry friends. So, working as pet sitter seems like a great fit to me. I'm really looking forward to all the big and little creatures I'm going to meet! Your baby will be in great hands. I promise to be generous with time to socialize with them and make certain their food, water, and potty break or litter box is top-notch. About: I’ve taken care of dogs and cats since I was 12 years old. I’m a huge animal lover and enjoy spending my time volunteering at the Burbank Animal shelter when I have free time. I would love to give your animal some attention and love while you’re away. At the moment I work in the office Mondays through Thursday from 9am to 6pm. I’m available early mornings and evenings for walks, with more flexibility on the weekends. I will follow the rules and guidelines given to me by the pet parents when pet sitting. During the time I was gone, Kasumi's visits were reliable and thorough, which was all I could ask for--- however she went above and beyond by patiently spending time with my cat so that he eventually warmed up and enjoyed seeing her come visit. About: I am a life long dog lover. I grew up with dogs of my own along with other pets. I was a pet sitter throughout middle and high school for neighbors and family friends and have always been that friend who gets asked to watch my friends’ dogs when they are away because I truly adore their dogs and beg them to always ask me first. I have owned large and small dogs and have experience with dogs of all breed, temperament and personality. I am patient when needed and full of energy when needed as well. I can adapt to each dog’s unique personality and needs. I can’t wait to be your dog’s new best friend. I am self employed and all of my work is done remotely so I am flexible to be able to spend multiple hours with your dog while you’re away or sit and work on my laptop just to be around them if they just like company. I am easily able to make it to your home to pick them up and walk them or to sit them multiple times a day. I will protect and care for your dog as if they were my own. As a dog parent myself I know how important it is to have someone you trust caring for your best friend. I pay very close attention to each owners instructions and ask a lot of questions to make sure I know how best to care for them and keep them safe. I avoid bringing them around other dogs when on walks and prefer to limit other human interactions unless your dog enjoys these things. In all situations though I am constantly assessing the risks and putting their health and safety above everything.
