I'm happy just hanging out. Cats are where my heart is, but growing up with a dog too means I'm comfortable with feeding, walks, and big-personality energy as well. (P.S. I’m steps from a walking trail and dog park 🐶) Pet care is baked into my daily rhythm — mornings start with feeding and check-in time, evenings wind down with cuddles. I’m dad to one very large, very fluffy Norwegian Forest Cat, so I already live the routine: feeding schedules, weekly brushing (that coat is a full-time job), and reading his “pay attention to me now” cues. I watch for the small signals that show how a pet is really doing — pinned ears, a low tail, pacing instead of settling, changes in appetite. I always double-check doors and windows are secure, since that’s when pets are most likely to slip out. At home, my cat (cat and dog friendly) has his own quiet space, so any guest pet can decompress without pressure to interact. I’m also comfortable with medication, dietary restrictions, and adjusting my approach based on a pet’s age or anxiety level — because good care isn’t one-size-fits-all.

About: I've worked with or had pets of my own for years and I've gone through training for my fearful reactive dog so I know each per deserves personalized care! Puzzle toys? Long walks? Cuddles? No cuddles? All good here. I work part time currently so it's best we figure out beforehand if I can meet your pets needs! Typically on a workday I'd be unable to stop by for 8 hours out of the day. Let me know if they need more care please! I can accommodate whatever you need, let's discuss! I'm pretty active but I'm also a fairly quiet person when the occasion calls for it, so I guess I'm adaptable! I can't host other pets currently.

We don't currently own any pets but we have experience fostering & pet sitting. Olivia has been a dog walker and provided overnight, in-home dog care. We lead an active lifestyle and have the energy necessary for exercising energetic dogs. We'd love to take your dog on hikes or just a meandering walk if that’s more their style. Reece and I have loved dogs all our lives and spending time with them is one of our favorite activities. :) I (Olivia) currently work four days per week while Reece works remotely from home full time so your pet would almost always have company while at home. We often go to the park / hike after work & in our free time - we'd love to include your pup in these activities! We live in an apartment with no fenced yard, unfortunately. Reece and I both have flexible schedules which would allow at least one of us to be home with your pet at almost all times so we can accommodate frequent walks and bathroom breaks if needed.

About: We're writers and seasoned pet lovers/carers who live in a two-bedroom apartment in Silver Lake with a bucolic fenced in yard. We're ready to love-bomb your pup and ply them with as many treats as they are allowed to have. Senior pups and youngins welcome. We'll toss balls or play tug of war or lounge around. Your pup's wish is our command. We recently said goodbye to our pup of 17+ years and miss tail wags and dog antics. We only host one pup at a time and that way we give your pup all our love and full attention during their stay. We both work from home, and are active folks who love to go on long walks around the neighborhood, or chill on the couch if that's what your pup prefers. We also have a closed-in yard with birds visiting the feeders and fountain, and we enjoy sitting outside with a furry friends on nice days. We just said goodbye to our furry bestie after 17+ years together and suffice it to say, our lives revolved around him. Be it cooking him gourmet meals from scratch, taking him on multiple walks a day, or strolls in a cart when his legs became too weak, we were always together. We miss having dog energy in the home and would be thrilled to cuddle up or pal around with your pup. We have central AC and Heat too, so if your pup gets hot or cold, we're on the case.

We understand the unique challenges that come with anxiety-prone dogs, and Zoe has taught us valuable lessons in patience, empathy, and creating a calm and soothing environment. If you have a dog with a similar temperament, we'll be sure to accommodate them. Both of us work from home, though one of us may occasionally go into the office. Even so, there will always be someone at home to look after your dog. We ensure daily walks and engaging activities to keep dogs happy and active - just let us know your dog’s walking schedule and we will stick to it as best we can! We can also administer oral medicine as our own dog needs to take a daily pill. In our care, every dog is treated as a cherished member of our family. We take the time to understand their unique personalities, preferences, and quirks, ensuring a personalized and loving experience. We will always go the extra mile to make sure your fur baby is getting the affection and care that they need.
