She was willing and eager to learn everything necessary for taking care of my dog the first time around as well. Super nice and trustworthy petsitter!”

About: My first love was an orange tabby named Lucky. Then, two French Canadian Guinea pigs Pierre and Davide (both fans of the band Simple Plan). Then, family dogs Bismarc the Newfie, Bella the Chihuahua/Jack Russell mix, Blaise the lab/Rottie, and Binx a maltese and Pekingese sweetie. With that, I’m the go-to pet & house sitter for friends. We can ask them—they’d tell you :) I’m a freelance writer and can work anywhere with a very flexible schedule. Just let me know in advance for any standing needs! Anything is possible. There’s a friendly cat in my house that belongs to my roommate so keeping separate is the most important (we all have our own spaces). I also have one small dog, who likes other dogs. Otherwise, I have a car and can drop-in or house sit. I’m flexible with options.

Elle ne cesse de s’instruire pour comprendre au mieux son amie canine, pour répondre à ses besoins et pour lui prodiguer les soins et l’éducation les plus adaptés. Elaia est là personne de mon entourage en qui j’ai le plus confiance pour garder un chien.”

“Brooke has been dog sitting my 5 year old medium sized terrier pup (Leo) for two years and I highly recommend her services! Brooke is incredibly responsible and is quick to communicate. Leo stays at her house and he has a blast going! She looks after him so well and makes sure the transition is seamless. She's incredibly active and ensures Leo goes on two long walks a day. Over time, Brooke has become part of my extended family and we are so fortunate to have her available to assist with watching Leo.”

“Deanna has watched my pup on multiple occasions and he absolutely loves her! She watched him for 2 weeks while I was out of the country and I know took great care of him. There are certain boundaries that I have for my dog (sleeping in the crate at night) and she made sure to keep up that structure. She has also walked him on many occasions. Deanna is a true animal lover and I feel totally comfortable with her as a pet sitter! I know she has also owner dogs and cats in the past. Definitely would recommend!”

“Ashley G. is a delightful young lady who took good care of my neighbors two dogs and house while he was away. She is a very respectful and responsible lady and followed directions that were left for her regarding the house and dogs. The home is located on the Kohala Coast of the Big Island, Hawaii and is off grid. We had extremely high winds and brush fires during her stay and she handled the situation very well. This was during the time Lahaina on Maui burned to the ground. Ashley is a very calm and collected young lady. I would recommend her pet/house sitting services to anyone.”

“I have know Alberto for many years and have always been able to count on him to care for my pups when I am out of town or just need a hand if I'm stuck working late. Over the years, he's cared for both of my labs, Daisy & Louie, by taking them for walks, stopping by for drop-in visits & playtime, and overnights when I've needed his help. He recently just dropped in to help feed my two rescue cats, Beau & Obi (who are normally very shy, but they come out for cuddles with Alberto)! The labs, as you can imagine, just ADORE him. Alberto has become more than just an animal caregiver in our family - he is our friend. He is trustworthy, punctual, kind, responsible, and really takes the extra step to make sure our furbabies are comfortable - canine or feline! I am so glad Alberto has joined Rover, as I know this line of "work" makes him very happy. I'd highly recommend any dog or cat owner to hire him - that is, if I don't get to him first!! :-)”
