“Rachel is patient and loving to any animal that crosses her path, whether they are furry, scaly, amphibious or insect. For this reason I am confident she would make a fantastic caregiver to anybody’s beloved pet. It’s never easy to have to leave your pet for an extended period of time, but in Rachel’s care you can expect lots of updates with photos of snuggles, videos of playtime, and slow motion footage of your cat going to town on a tube treat (I’m of course speaking from personal experience). I’ve seen her take care of nontraditional animals, including worms and moths and butterflies, and she’s patient with any animal that may present challenges. My cat Prudence is very particular about humans and Rachel is on a very short list of ones Prudence actually trusts. About: I’ve lived with dogs all my life! I grew up with labs and Great Danes, and love to spend time with furry friends. I’m experience giving medical care to pets, and have some dog training experience as well. I’m currently working part time, and would love to fit some more animal time into my schedule. Mornings and nights work! I am fairly flexible, and can work with your schedule to make things work. I am highly attentive and sensitive to an animals condition and needs. I’ll always focus on getting your pets good exercise and outdoor time, and get them the healthy activity and care they need!

I foster kittens and dogs regularly with Beagle Freedom Project, the city shelters, and volunteer at a spay/neuter clinic. I am dog/cat CPR certified and have experience with sick and elderly pets as well as kittens (even bottle fed!). Helping animals brings me happiness My husband and I have a large fenced yard (about 3/4 acres) with 2 large grassy areas for your dog to run around and get their beans out! We would give them in and out access to the air conditioned house during daytime hours, and access to water and shade at all times. We do not use crates or cages except for special circumstances like a need for confinement due to illness (you would need to provide a crate). We also have a small fenced pool that your pet can use if they enjoy swimming (under close supervision of course). We will try to only board one dog at a time, unless they are from the same family. We may occasionally have a day care client, but again , will try to avoid having more than one dog present at a time.
