About: I started dog walking and doing cat play dates out of high school 11 years ago and loved it! I grew up with two large dogs and two cats in Portland, Oregon. Calm or animated, tall and long, short and stout, I take care of dogs & cats with all types of personalities, needs, and routines. I know dog & cat first aid through the American Red Cross and will go above and beyond to be a steward of your space. I study critical theory around the subjects of visual culture and land use at Portland State University online, so my schedule is open and adaptable to yours. My availability is completely open. I'm currently a student online, so I can adapt my schedule around whichever days and times you need help. I'm a patient, soft-spoken caretaker that allows a new fur friend to get to know me first. I'll walk the greenest routes in the area and cross the streets at the safest points. I walk at a steady pace and can check in with you and your pet during the walk or pet sit. We can play games or lounge around if that's more their style. I'll tend to your pet's grooming, diet, activity, and behavior specificities as well as any household tasks that accompany the visit.

About: Hi there — I go by Lio (she/her)! I grew up with a Jack Russell and later lived with a Cavalier King Charles puppy, then a reactive rescue Brittany Spaniel for 3 years before moving to LA. I’ve been hands-on with everything from potty training to reading canine body language, and I’m very comfortable adapting to each dog’s personality. I’ve also lived with a British Longhair cat for 3 years, so I’m used to caring for both dogs and cats in the same household. Most of the animals around me growing up were rescues, often with a bit of sensitivity, so I naturally developed a calm, patient approach. I’ve worked with a wide range of dogs — from shy or reactive to high-energy breeds (herding, hunting and hounds). I’ve also dogsat for a year through Pawshake and currently volunteer at the Pasadena Humane Society. I'm especially experienced in sensitive and reactive pups. I've cared for rescues and street dogs, and will make sure I show them love while respecting their boundaries! I currently work from home during weekdays, and will have most of the day to pamper and play with your pet. I am available all weekend for overnights. Giving space, making sure I give out respect, patience and care. The most important aspect for me is to be attuned to them. Understanding their language, making sure they are comfortable 100% of the time. Regular potty breaks, grooming if needed, and a stress-free environment.

About: I’ve been taking care of dogs ever since I can remember growing up I had boxer, pit bull terrier mix, and border collie retriever mix. I can provide a safe and loving environment for all of your fur baby's needs. From pet sitting to short or long walks i’ve got experience with it all. I’m currently a full time student but have the flexibility of being completely online. I’m available mostly anytime for services throughout the week. About: I’ve taken care of dogs of all sizes and ages before, from terriers to Scotch collies. These dogs have ranged in age as well, with some being as young as 1-3 and the oldest being 15. I make sure to communicate frequently to ensure pets receive thoughtful and fun care that is also respectful of their boundaries. I’m a teacher and currently on summer break, so my time for pet care is pretty open and prioritized right now! Rover is my primary focus at the moment, so let’s chat about some care for your pet! Whenever in a new environment, I make sure to inspect all possible exits or potential areas for danger or risk for pets. Additionally, respecting your home and your boundaries is a top priority of mine! I don’t use things unless I’ve asked about them and will communicate if a situation ever arises. I don’t have boarding as an option at the moment, but if that ever changes, pet safety and comfort is always a priority!

About: Probably my biggest flex as a person is that ALL animals LOVE me. I always feel so blessed and honored that animals receive me so warmly and readily. I have taken care of a wide array of animals! From fish, to cockatiels, cats, dogs, and a few reptiles!! About: Cat and dog lover with a 6 year old cat of my own who is part lover boy and part former linebacker. Experienced with cats and dogs from jr to sr. I have a flexible schedule so can often be available as needed and can lock in specific times/etc for consistency and ease. Inquire within! :) Respectful of your home and space and here to help provide some care and love to your pets while you’re away. For any pets being cared for at my place, lots of comfy napping spots inside, and a small gated garden area for supervised outdoor play.

About: Hello! In 2017 I met my first friendly street cat which sent me on a journey from “strict dog person” to “cat lady.” I have since adopted two cats, Bean and Raisin, and fostered more than a dozen adult cats and kittens. I also work closely with an organization doing TNR in my community--trapping neighborhood cats and spay/neutering them. I have a 2nd bedroom that I use as both my office and cat zone with toys if your cat needs his/her own space but am also a friendly home for a rambunctious cat. Bean is very passive and chill, while Raisin just wants to make friends and play. I’m a trusted cat mom and foster mom and will cuddle your fur babies just like you would if you were home with them! I know how important it is to a pet parent's peace of mind while away from their animal to know how they're doing so I always make sure I send pictures and regular updates. Please note that due to my cats, I only board other cats in my home—no dogs. And I only board one client at a time. Rover doesn't give the opportunity to specify this. I can do drop ins for other animals in your home no problem! I work from home and can occasionally have period of hiatus from work with lots of free time to dedicate to doing drop ins and being there for any boarding guests. I am very strict about indoors only for cats given my history with TNR. Also because I'm an experienced trapper, if somehow your cat escapes my care, I have the skills and equipment and knowledge to get them back for you. I don't leave boarding guests alone with my cats without supervision, even when sleeping, unless enough time has passed that I can trust them all together.

About: I have been volunteering for doggy daycares since I was 11. I volunteered at the pound for about 2 years, helping with special care, walks, and pet adoption. I've also been trained in proper dog walking etiquette as well. I've done a few overnights, but my experience lyes in dog sitting and dog walking. I have worked with disabled pups and follow special care instructions very well. I'm great with multiple dogs at a time ranging in different sizes.
