I grew up with cats, dogs, fish, rabbits, hamsters, mice, rats, and even a chinchilla in my household. When I started petsitting in 2015, I started with neighbors pets, including backyard chickens, cats, and dogs. I've since expanded to include birds, fish, you name it! I have experience and feel comfortable with sick, elderly, and differently-abled pets, administering subcutaneous and oral medications, and helping with accommodations and physical needs.

I have been housesitting/petsitting for many years for neighbors and friends, who have extended my offerings to their friends and families. I am fairly flexible, within reason, as my schedule allows me to be. I feel comfortable staying in homes and taking care of them along with the pets, and keeping a safe and clean space for us all.

Kenya was so great with our two cats!! Punctual, communicative, and with attention to detail. She even took the time to play with them which put our minds at ease about leaving them alone for the long weekend. We will definitely be booking her for future trips!!!
If you're looking for someone to care for your cat like family, look no further!! You'll be lucky if you get to hire her. Big Rig (known affectionately as Iggy) is probably a lot like your cat. In other words, he's not just a cat—he's a furry little personality with opinions, routines, and a very specific standard of service. Kenya met all his demands. I came home to a happy, relaxed cat who clearly had not spent the weekend plotting my demise for abandonning him with a stranger. That's a huge success in cat-owner terms. From the moment I met Kenya for a "meet and greet," I knew Iggy was in caring and capable hands. Kenya immediately appreciated Iggy's quirks, respected his boundaries, and gave me complete peace of mind while I was away. Knowing that Big Rig was safe, comfortable, and cared for allowed me to actually enjoy my trip instead of worrying about what kind of chaos a bored feline genius might be creating at home. Kind, reliable, thoughtful—I couldn't ask for a better person to look after Iggy. Five stars from me, and if Big Rig could write reviews himself, he'd probably give six.

Kenya is absolutely amazing and just a great person! From the beginning she took the time to get comfortable with my dogs, 2 high anxiety and 1 grumpy old pup. I was comfortable having her house sit and leaving them with her for a week. She was in constant communication sending pictures daily with my nieces & nephew's looked forward to. My huskies got daily walks together, even with the rain, and lots of cuddles. My 16yr pup was even up and about with her which he often doesn't do. He can be difficult especially when it comes to getting his eye meds but she figured out how to do it which was huge! She even replaced a window spring my dogs ripped, washed my carpet cuz my senior dog refuses to go out at times, and washed the blankets she used which was all completely unnecessary. I hope she can continue to walk my dogs and she will definitely be the first person I call anytime I need housesitting!
Kenya was great with my older dogs Chloe and Zena. She left the house spotless and was so kind to my dogs. I would definitely recommend her to anyone looking to book for their pups.

Schedule
I just graduated with a degree in Liberal Studies and have free time during the day, M-F. Walking dogs (or cats!) would not only help fill my time, but also help me stay on track for my daily steps. When my schedule allows, I love housesitting as I tend to only travel a few times a year.
