“Lori was great! We were traveling during the Holidays and needed a last minute sitter and Lori very graciously obliged. She was timely and followed all of the care details perfectly. She even let us use one of her cat’s toys that she no longer needed, so sweet! Lori is great, highly recommend!”

“Wonderful guy. My puppy loves him which I love for them, will definitely be my go-to person if I'm out of town and want someone to hang out with my Lunita that day. Thank you for everything Daniel!”

“Thank you! She loves watching the birdies and squirrels!! Thank you for feeding and playing with her! I'll let you know when my next trip is, coming up soon! ❤️”

“Shel, my cat, was happy to hang out with his friend again!”

“As always, Jasnik is THE BEST!! She’s been our go to rover every time now, multiple times. Our boy loves and trusts her (and so do we!!!). She is so sweet and deals with us changing plans and adding days etc and is always so patient and flexible. Things would be so much more stressful without her!”

“Great job. I would use Sarah and David again, and I would recommend them to friends. They provided top notch service and the dogs loved them. Thank you!”

“Stefanie has been so sweet with our young Labrador Poppy! She’s a great communicator and seems to have a good sense of what Poppy wants when they’re together. Love all the pics we get, it’s fun to see Poppy having so much fun. I trust Stefanie to keep our pup happy and safe - will book again!”

“This was our first experience with Rover and I could not be more pleased with how great Morgan was with Champ! She met him a few days before the scheduled drop-ins and he immediately started licking her and asking for pets before she even finished coming inside (Champ is normally super shy and barks a lot). Morgan was very communicative and sent several pictures and updates during each drop-in. I hate leaving Champ (I’ve only boarded him three times in his 8 years of life and am always paranoid if he’s not right by me lol) so I was nervous about how it would be for someone else to come into my house to watch him but it was the best decision. Champ hates fireworks so Morgan moved his bedding into the bathroom where he was hiding and she sat in there with him until he calmed down. If I boarded Champ he would’ve been in a kennel near a bunch of other dogs freaking out about the fireworks but Champ got to be in his own home where he feels safe. She went above and beyond any expectations I had. I laid out some pee pads and sure enough, Champ understandably had a couple of accidents because he wouldn’t go outside during the fireworks and Morgan cleaned up without any complaints. I would be thrilled to have Morgan take care of Champ again next time I go out of town!”

About: Growing up on a farm, I’ve always been a passionate animal lover who believes each and every one deserves a loving home and the best life possible. I have over 20 years of experience caring for both dogs and cats (among many other animals!) and have taken pet safety and CPR instruction. I also have some experience volunteering with animal rescue, rehabilitation, and fostering. As someone who has owned and cared for senior dogs with medical issues I have a special place in my heart for any animals with special needs. I also have experience with puppies and kittens, and have house trained both. I work from home with a flexible schedule and our house has a good sized fenced in yard for potty breaks so can take them out as often as needed and dogs will rarely be left unattended. I enjoy long walks and hikes, and live close to a park, so every dog under my care who loves walks will enjoy long ones every day. I work from home with a flexible schedule and can generally work around your needs for pick up and drop off. Walks and play time are already a regular part of my schedule with my own pups and would love to include yours too! Your pet’s safety is my number one priority whether they are boarding in my home, or I’m watching them in yours. As someone who has anxiety when my furbabies are being watched by someone, I know how hard being away from them is and strive to give you daily checks ins, or pet camera greetings, so you can see how your pet is doing. I have a fenced in yard that’s extremely secure, and your pets will never be alone out there. I do require a meet and greet so I can learn how to best care for your pet’s individual needs. Above all, my goal is to ensure your pet returns to you happy and safe after a fun vacation.

“Jessica did a great job with my dogs! I will absolutely use her again in the future!”

“Lizzie is fantastic! She came to take care of my sick pup and he loves her. She's communicative, professional, and my dog loves her. Definitely working with her again!”

About: I've been privileged to have a lifetime full of doggie companionship. I grew up with big guys (pits, labs, retrievers, rots, shepherds) and little ones (yorkies, shih tzus, poodles and doodles). I'm comfortable with all dogs, regardless of history and temperament :) Generally I have a very flexible work schedule during the week. I'm the program manager at a cool filmmaking and storytelling non-profit (ages 14-18); however, my work Mon-Fri is all remote. I have my son on weekends, so schedule is limited but not totally unavailable. Might just have a cute little 8 year old helping to keep your dog friend company :) Your pet's safety and comfort are the number 1 priority for me. During our intro call would love to learn about their habits and preferences! Favorite activities, hang out spots at home and in the neighborhood, things that rile them up or make them anxious. Also, want to know about your own personal boundaries/training protocols to ensure their emotional and behavioral consistency! I do not offer boarding.

About: Hi I’m Joel! I’m a big animal lover and have had multiple pets throughout my life. Unfortunately the current place I live in doesn’t allow pets. So I’m hoping to use Rover to fill that gap of me missing my pets as well as to make a bit of extra money for rent as well as a future vacation I want to take with my girlfriend. I promise to take care of your pet as my own! I work full time at a Trader Joe’s as a closer. So my shifts typically start around 2-3pm, so anytime during the morning before then I would be free! Im usually off Mondays and Thursdays so those days I’m available all day. I do not think this field applies to me since I do not have a space where I’m capable of caring for pets. I was hoping to mainly walk dogs and do drop in’s as well!

“margaret was so amazing and communicative the from the first time we met to the last visit and it was clear that ghibli loved their time together 🥹 thank you so much margaret!!! 🫂”

“Great drop in and meet and greet. Would definitely book with Sharon again!”

“Math did a great job looking after our cat while we were out on location. They were very attentive and clearly care a lot about animals. We would definitely recommend Math!”

“Emma took great care of Blitz! She checked in with him at home, hung out with him, fed and walked him, and documented the whole thing! Blitz warmed up to her right away and felt comfortable with her enough on her first visit after our meet up to curl into her lap! I feel at ease knowing Blitz was taken care of by Emma!”

“Tori was great. Friendly and communicative. Couldn’t ask for a better dog sitter.”

About: Hi! I’ve been taking care of dogs and cats for the past 10 years for high end clients, friends, my own pups, Rover and Trusted Housesitters. I really love making dogs comfortable and happy. I feel so connected to animals and I genuinely love to take care of them. I’m super attentive, caring, reliable and trustworthy. My house has a fully fenced yard and is close to the San Bernardino Mountains, so there's lots of fresh air and nature nearby which will be sure to bring your dog good cheers. I used to foster dogs in my own home for animal rescue organizations and have raised 8 dogs from pup to full grown. I work well with all breeds and characters. I am a strong pack leader, trustworthy, patient, attentive and a super caring person who will treat your sweet pet with the full attention he/she deserves! As a pet owner I understand how difficult it can be to leave your pet, I will make sure your pet feels comfortable and is well cared for, and that you feel reassured and at ease. I work from home part-time and will have your pet near me at all times. I have a large fenced in yard for playtime and naps in the sunshine. I'm able to make sure your pup gets all the necessary potty breaks and exercise. Safety, comfort and doggy happiness is my number one priority :) I have a very large fully fenced and secured in yard and the company of my 10 year old Labrador mix. I live with my husband, who is also a devoted animal lover. We are located in 29 Palms, and will keep an eye on your dog at all times and never leave them outdoors unattended.

About: I've had dogs and cats majority of my life; from family pets to fostering with the LA animal shelter and various non-profits in the area, I have a ton of experience caring for pets. I recently lost my own pet and decided to focus on fostering and pet sitting for a little while. I live with my husband and sister who would all participate in caring for your pet :) I currently work from home full time so I am able to stay at home with your pet all day. My normally schedule allows for time to go on walks throughout the day as well. I have a fully fenced yard and we normally keep the back door open all day so you pet will be able to access the yard at anytime when I am home. If you are not comfortable with that I can easily shut the screen door and only allow monitored outdoor time.

Im always confident my dog is in responsible and caring hands with her, not mention how much Fredo loves her too!”

Her patience and dedication are unmatched—I couldn't recommend her more!”

Kelly is a rockstar cat sitter. Our two very energetic kitties kept her busy and she handled it with no issues. Kelly is always our first choice for our cats!

Yana was so great! She made it a smooth process and Reggie seemed to enjoy all the attention and outing with her. He’s not a walker but she accommodated us and made it a fun time anyway. All her questions actually put me at ease and made me feel more comfortable that safety was very important to her. Thank you Yana!!!

This was our first time using Sarah & David to look in on our two cats. We have someone we normally use on Rover, but they weren't available for our requested day. Sarah & David took the time to come out and meet all of us (cats included) before accepting the job. They were both very nice and you could tell they were animal people based on the cats reception to them. They came by one day to check in, top off food, deal with the litter box and spend a little time with them while we were away. I was happy with their service and would definitely use them again in the future.

We always have complete peace of mind leaving our cat in Nikki’s care—she goes above and beyond with phenomenal attention and extra love. It’s clear our cat feels safe and spoiled every time Nikki visits, and that means the world to us.

Lexi is truly the best cat sitter ever. We don’t even want to go out of town unless she’s available. She is so loving and attentive with Kimchi. She writes very detailed and entertaining Rovercards and keeps us apprised of all updates with Kimchi’s health and behavior. She also leaves the place SO clean! Above and beyond!
