“Lori was great! We were traveling during the Holidays and needed a last minute sitter and Lori very graciously obliged. She was timely and followed all of the care details perfectly. She even let us use one of her cat’s toys that she no longer needed, so sweet! Lori is great, highly recommend!”

“We are so lucky to have found Emily to do drop in visits for our two dogs while we went on our trip. She took great care of our dogs and was a fantastic and quick communicator, sending us updates and pictures after each visit. You can tell she loves animals and we felt like our dogs were in good hands. This was our first time using Rover and it was a lovely experience thanks to Emily. We look forward to using her again for future trips!”

“Alexis was amazing! She really bonded with our cat, was very intentional about sharing photos and logging all of her activities, and we're so grateful she took care of our baby with so much care. Highly recommend!!”

“Sofia was an excellent sitter! She was really communicative, sent us great updates and photos every time she stopped by and followed our senior kitties food/supplement schedule. We knew our kitty was in good hands while we were gone and we would absolutely have her sit for us again!”

About: ***UPDATE! Opening my profile up to new clients again after about a year, as I have some openings! Feel free to reach out with inquiries!*** I have had dogs my entire life, and what can I say — I just love them. I have cared for dogs for 20 years, and even spent a few years training dogs at the American Kennel Club (AKC). I rescued my own pup nearly 10 years ago, and rescued my cat ~5 years ago now-- and have since been equally obsessed with felines. They’re incredibly different animals, with their own way of looking at the world, both of which I respect. Over the years, I have walked and cared for many family's, friends’ and colleagues' dogs and cats of all ages, before opening my network to my neighborhood. ***Key Notes: - Currently, I am open for dog walking and dog/cat drop-ins. Please see all service options (including add-ons) in my profile and feel free to reach out with questions! - For 60-minute walks, depending on location, weather and your comfort level, I can take your pup(s) for a hike or trail-run nearby! - I have a range of experience, from energetic and exercise-craving dogs to elderly pups who require gentle care and a patient, slower speed. I love providing care for either side of the spectrum, and all in between. The bottom line is: the safety of your dog/dogs is my top priority. I know how it is. I’ve used Rover and other services for my dog and cat, and I understand how it feels to entrust another person with your fur-kiddo. I am patient and will give you whatever you need to feel comfortable with me as a caregiver — from answering questions, to a meet-and-greet (in person or on zoom), to picture updates all along the way. Every dog and cat is different, and I want to know what makes your beloved pet unique so I can provide him/her with the best care. I’m a good communicator — from medications to leash/sidewalk politics to triggers and everything in between, you can rest assured we will be on the same page. I have experience caring for all shapes and sizes: - Chihuahuas and Terriers (my dog Jack is a mix!) - Bernese Mountain Dogs - Border Collie Mixes - Shepherds - Staffy’s - Golden Retrievers - Shelties - Samoyeds - King Charles - Schnauzers - Norwegian Forest Cats - Tabbies I am happy to take on puppies/kittens and can integrate any training you might be working on with your fur-kiddo. I work from home with a flexible schedule, so I can accommodate most walks and drop-ins depending on your needs. Just shoot me a request and I’ll get back to you right away. I treat everyone’s home with the same respect I expect at my own. I also take privacy very seriously. I am always happy to do meet-and-greets at a public park (or similar) before services. Again, I get it — you're trusting someone new in your home and with your animals. I want you to feel as comfortable as possible!
“Mike was great sitter for my outdoor stray cat. Taking care of a stray cat is tricky because of unpredictable schedules but Mike was accommodating, flexible, and very responsive. Thank you so much Mike!”

“I’m so grateful to Sahirah for accommodating our last-minute booking. She was incredibly kind, quick to respond, and kept us updated with photos the whole time. This was my first time using Rover, and she made it such an easy, reassuring experience. I’d absolutely love to book with her again in the future :)”

He sent photos and updates during every visit. He was friendly and trustworthy. We'll be requesting his services again and would highly recommend him!”

About: I started dog walking and doing cat play dates out of high school 11 years ago and loved it! I grew up with two large dogs and two cats in Portland, Oregon. Calm or animated, tall and long, short and stout, I take care of dogs & cats with all types of personalities, needs, and routines. I know dog & cat first aid through the American Red Cross and will go above and beyond to be a steward of your space. I study critical theory around the subjects of visual culture and land use at Portland State University online, so my schedule is open and adaptable to yours. My availability is completely open. I'm currently a student online, so I can adapt my schedule around whichever days and times you need help. I'm a patient, soft-spoken caretaker that allows a new fur friend to get to know me first. I'll walk the greenest routes in the area and cross the streets at the safest points. I walk at a steady pace and can check in with you and your pet during the walk or pet sit. We can play games or lounge around if that's more their style. I'll tend to your pet's grooming, diet, activity, and behavior specificities as well as any household tasks that accompany the visit.
“Aksana was amazing, our dogs were loved, and seemed very happy. She followed instructions and we are super grateful so was able to come last minute. We look forward to hiring her again ✨.”

“Angelique was so helpful and patient. My dog is on crate rest and isn't a lot of fun to sit for right now. Angelique basically sat by her side for the entire visit.”

“I recently had the pleasure of having Jessica as my drop-in dog sitter, and I must say the glowing reviews about her were absolutely spot-on. Jessica's genuine love for animals shines through in her exceptional care. I came back with LiLi happy, healthy, and clearly well-loved. Jessica's attention to detail, personalized approach, and excellent communication made the entire experience worry-free. I wouldn't hesitate for a second to have her watch my dog, LiLi, again.”

Anna was great! She was communicative, easy to work with, and sent photos and updates during her drop-in with my dog. Everything went smoothly, and I really appreciated knowing my pup was in good hands. I’d definitely recommend Anna to anyone looking for a reliable and caring sitter!

Lindsey is the absolute best!!! I truly cannot say enough positive things. She gave my dogs so much love and attention, and provided both me and my partner separate, thorough text updates since we were away in different places. She also sent tons of adorable photos that really captured the dogs’ personalities and made me feel like she really got to know them. This was my first time using a Rover sitter in many years, as I’ve always had friends or family available to watch my dogs, but I just moved to LA and don’t have a reliable network of personal dog sitters, so I was really nervous about having a stranger take care of my boys while I was away, but Lindsey instantly made me feel at ease and like I’d known her forever. I would 100% trust her to watch my dogs again, and would recommend her to anyone looking for someone who will provide the same level of care to their pets that they would provide themselves.

The kitties were well fed and hydrated. The litter boxes were clean (minus the recent dumps the cat took after Nyssa left but that is nothing on her) and the house looked to be in good shape even though we could have left it cleaner. I'll be booking with Nyssa again.
