“Magdalena is an exceptional doggie dare care provider. I reached out to her because my office is requiring that I now come in after 4 years of work from home. I was nervous that my 10-year-old corgi with various health issues would not be enthused about the change, but he LOVES going to Magdalena's house where he is showered with affection all day long. Magdalena sends pictures and videos and updates throughout the day, and my little guy looks ecstatically happy. She is truly the best. I highly recommend her.”

“Amanda is very dedicated and caring with my dog. She is intuitive, understanding and offered invaluable insight to help me shape my little one’s habits. My pup had a wonderful time and Amanda’s dog Mochi makes for a wonderful playmate. Very grateful that I found her.”

“Very communicative and always excited to see our Luna! Luna basically runs inside now and I've never seen her so happy outside our home. Thank you so much for taking such good care of her!”

About: Hello! I’ve been in the dog walking field / pet care for over a decade (new to Rover app) during my time living in nyc (offering services to clients under my own co. Zen Shepherd Nyc) and now recently acquainting myself with the LA pet life since moving here recently. I work well with dogs of all ages and love to spend time with them more than humans in general. People say I tend to have a calming effect on animals, and cats are drawn to me like magnets for some reason! I live in highland park and love being in nature and exploring all the urban wildlife / parks in the area. I am also a yoga instructor, artist, astrologer, book seller and somatic therapist. I work from home most of the time so boarding / pet sitting at my place is very convenient (and fun) for me! I can’t emphasize how much I love being in the presence of animals beyond all else including most humans. They are the real energy workers on this planet. I work mostly from home and have flexible hours so I can easily fit pet care and walks into my days on a weekly basis. I have a very pet friendly apartment complex, which is gated and walking distance to some great hikes, a lovely park and dog park! I am a quiet and respectful house guest, have house/pet sit in various homes in nyc and La for over a decade now.

“Kim was great! It was so kind of her to be flexible with my wacky work hours. She sent me lots of pics of my pup and took her on walks with her own dogs. It was great to be able to have a dogsitter who also has dogs so my pup can socialize! I will certainly book her in the future!”

“We’re so grateful to have found Ryan and Theoni through Rover. They provided our hairless pup with thoughtful, attentive care and made sure he felt completely at ease in their home. It’s clear they genuinely love animals and treat every four-legged guest like family. Their communication throughout the day gave us peace of mind, with thoughtful updates that showed how tuned in they are to each pet’s unique needs. We feel incredibly comfortable leaving our dog in their care—and we wholeheartedly recommend them to anyone seeking loving, reliable sitters.”

“Kiyomi treated our recently adopted puppy as her own and gave so many helpful tricks and tips for taking care of our newest little family member. You can tell she’s great with all dogs and wants to do everything she can to make sure they’re happy. Extra perk that she takes super cute photos of your pup too.”

“Joline confirmed the appt the day before and also helped me figure out what to pack. She was also helpful in navigating the app as I am relatively new to this. She’s very responsive and communicative throughout the whole processes. Would definitely ask her to dog sit again.”

About: I use positive reinforcement methodology with your loved ones while I Walk them or when I come check on them at your place. I accommodate your dog's need based on their personality, and characteristics. I think each dog is their own special being and it is important to explore their interests and potentials individually. For walking: during our walks, I do walks around your neighborhood, or take your dog to their favorite trail for a hike for more mental stimulation and physical activity. Paws will get wiped upon request. I like to return them clean and ready for a nap. Drop in visits: I check on your loved one in your own house while you have to be at work or can't show up for your little one. I provide playtime, walks, and I keep up with their training as requested. For instance, I do obedience exercises for mental stimulation. I am experienced with puppies, adults, seniors, and dogs with special need. Schedule a meetup for free! during our meetup session, I will ask about your dog's habits, what they love, what they are sensitive about, their triggers or a behavior I should know. I also check in about any food allergies as they will receive some delicious treats when they are with me! I am a freelance artist and my schedule is flexible. Spending time with dogs on my free time is rewarding and energizing, and I currently have a lot of free time! In my experience, dogs (Specially if they are nervous) do best when there is a routine. When I check on your dog, I start and end with certain activities, and I repeat them next time they see me, that way a sense of trust is getting built between us, because they already expect what is about to happen.
“Miguel and his wife were so kind and helpful. They took Hazey in last minute and were quick to respond, which we really appreciated. They were very accommodating to her needs and made her feel comfortable right away. Their home is spacious, clean, and welcoming, which gave us peace of mind. We’re very grateful for their flexibility and care and would absolutely recommend them.”

“Frances was A-M-A-Z-I-N-G!!! I was a little worried leaving my fur baby since it’s his first time with a sitter, and he was a lil anxious when we dropped him off but had a great time with Frances. She sent me pictures and updates throughout the day, and the picture qualities were also amazing! My puppy looked so happy and comfortable! He came home pooped and I’m so happy he got along with Frances and her boys! I will definitely use Frances again next time I need a sitter!”

About: Highly responsible strategy consultant with a love for animals, but an unpredictable travel schedule that hinders my ability to adopt a furry child of my own. Dedicated dog aunt of 3 for multiple years, with a loving home to care for your pet in alongside my WFH schedule. Proven experience making quick connections with pets and babies, and a plant mom! I work from home when not traveling and have an easy neighborhood for routine walks during the day, plus some known parks nearby for longer strolls. I'm flexible on boarding times and will try to work with your schedule. I'm happy to make my home their home, and create the space needed for them to feel cozy. We also have a fenced in yard that is shared with two very kind and older basset hounds that we can interact with - or not! - depending on pet preference.
About: My top priority is making sure each pet feels not just safe, fed, and hydrated—but loved. I understand that time feels different for animals than it does for humans. When their owner is away for days or weeks, it can feel like forever to them. I provide comfort, companionship, and affection to ensure they feel safe, secure, and well cared for until their family returns. Sticking to routines and instructions as provided. Morning walks, playtime, feeding, and snuggles. Spending time and learning your pets personality and catering to that. Ensuring they are safe, protecting them from anything harmful, and maximizing your pets health. I like to give your pet plenty of space to get comfortable and check me out before we start interacting—that way, trust can grow naturally. I always follow your instructions and will reach out if I have any questions. I also take care to keep your home clean and free of anything that could be unsafe, so your pet feels secure and well cared for. In your home, I follow your routine, keeping your pet comfortable and maintaining consistency with walks, meals, and snuggles.
About: I’ve been pet sitting for many years for friends and through personal referrals, caring for both dogs and cats. I have experience with senior pets as well as younger, high-energy animals, and I’m comfortable following routines, administering basic care, and providing lots of attention and love. Pet care fits very naturally into my daily routine. I am fortunate to work from home with flexible hours, which allows me to give pets plenty of attention throughout the day. I am able to plan my schedule around feeding times, walks, playtime, and check-in visits so pets are never rushed or left alone longer than they should be. Because of this flexibility, I can spend as much time with your pet as needed and ensure they receive consistent care, companionship, and attention while maintaining their normal routine as closely as possible. When pets stay in my home, I treat them like part of the family. I make sure they’re comfortable, safe, and have plenty of time to relax and play. We go on daily walks to the park, and there’s no shortage of cuddle time and one-on-one attention. I’m always mindful of each pet’s individual needs, whether that means following a specific diet, giving medication, or just providing a little extra love and reassurance.
“Crystal took good care of my dog and provided photo updates. Her home was clean and secure. Her dog was very friendly and got along with Kevin. I will work with Crystal again.”

“Margaret to excellent care of Snowflake. She even taught us some helpful tips for our pup and sent us off with a genius training tool! Honestly, we are so happy we found her!”

“Lucy looked extremely happy to be in Julianne's house; running around the yard and asking for attention as always! Julianne is professional and very accommodating to my unforseeable work schedule! I will be using her services again in the future as lucy seemed ecstatic during her 2 stays.”

About: Hi! I’m currently transitioning from a career in the entertainment industry to focus more on pet care, a dedication I’ve had my whole life. I’ve spent over 30 years living with and caring for dogs and cats. My detail oriented, organized, and poised personality type has always helped me succeed in the entertainment industry, and these skills cross over to caring for animals, allowing me to anticipate their needs and create a calm, ease filled environment. Dogs have always been an essential part of my life, and I currently share my home with a sweet senior pug who receives weekly physical therapy. Over the years, I’ve cared for many dogs and cats, always prioritizing their comfort, health, and happiness. I know firsthand the peace of mind a loving sitter provides, having used Rover for my own pup for two years. I’m reliable, safety conscious, and fully attentive, so you can feel confident your pup is in good hands. I offer walks, drop-in visits, and dog daycare, giving each dog plenty of attention, exercise, and companionship. My home is senior dog friendly, with yoga mats, ramps, soft steps, a fenced yard, and a calm environment. I’m currently welcoming 3-4 recurring dog daycare clients. I can provide boarding for recurring clients as well. If you’re looking for a caring, attentive sitter who treats dogs like family, I’d love to connect and become part of your dog’s extended pack! I am looking to make pet care my main focus. All available booking dates are indicated on my Rover calendar. I am excited to meet your fur babies! My home is designed with senior dogs in mind, fully fenced yard for safe outdoor time, and the inside is mobility friendly with yoga mats, dog ramps, and stairs to help pups get around comfortably and safely. I make it a priority to discourage jumping off furniture to protect their joints. My own senior pug is sweet, social, and would love to make some gentle new friends. I’d be happy to provide a peaceful, cozy, and caring environment for your pup!
About: Hi there! I have long loved being a dog mom and thought to start sitting to give myself and my own dog some extra company and fun times. I can usually take up to two additional dogs to my own. If I am able to sit for your dog, I will be working from home. However, I am not available everyday. This is why I recommend planning in advance for my availability. I have a single family home with a fenced in dog run and patio for them to play in. They are free to be in the house and not be restricted in movements. However, I do not let pets on the furniture or beds. However doggy beds are available.
“Erika was great with my pup! She was so accommodating to last minute plans & sent me soooo many photo updates during the stay. Her place was perfect for my big dog. She was great & I will definitely be booking her again.”

Yoko watched my dog at my office, and she was absolutely wonderful. She provided daytime dog-sitting for Mochi and made her feel completely comfortable right away. Yoko is super sweet, reliable, and very easy to work with. If you’re looking for someone who genuinely cares about your pup and gives you peace of mind while you’re away, Yoko is fantastic. Mochi and I are so grateful we found her! 🐾💛

Yebyul took amazing care of our Packer! She was sweet and patient with him and took him on lots of walks. Packer has a bit of separation anxiety, but she handled him perfectly. The second day of sitting he was even pulling to her apartment building and wagging his tail. Highly recommend. Thanks again!

Kumo had such a fantastic time with Lilia! She sent several photos & videos of their walks and play and he had such a great time. I’ll also note that Lilia was incredibly accommodating with a same-day last minute request and was so kind and flexible. Thanks a bunch Lilia! 🐾
