Doggy Day Care Highland Park

About: I raised my 2 mini schnauzers from puppyhood through their twilight years and loved every second of it. We made many other dog friends along the way, including the occasional sleepover. I work remotely from home, so it’s easy for me to adapt to whatever schedule your dog is used to! I travel for 2-3 weeks in the year around (but typically not during) holidays. My apartment complex is gated with great walking areas for the community’s many pets. A public park is just next door with hiking trails for higher energy pups. I also have extra beds, crates, leashes, bowls, and toys if you forget yours or prefer not to haul them around.

The inside is spacious and bright with really nice furniture.. and her big grassy backyard was perfect for my anxious and energetic dog. She also sent a bunch of pictures (I love when sitters do this ?) and was quick to respond to texts which I really appreciated. My dog was pooped and fell asleep on the ride home which means he had a really great time today. I highly recommend her!”

About: What’s the most important thing all dog owners want to know before entrusting their dogs to a stranger? Well first of all I’m from Jersey. I’ll play with your dog, make sure they’re happy, take them on a walk, not lose them, and feed them only what you tell me to feed them. No human food, I promise. Unless of course that’s in your list of food to give them. Of course hydrate them as well. I know the do’s and don’ts of a dog’s diet since I have 2 of my own. I’ve also been fostering dogs on and off for the past 3 years. I am known to be reliable and responsible, so I can assure you that you can rest easy with leaving your dog(s) in my care. Or if you have a cat, I also get along super well with them since I also have 2 of my own! I work from home so I do have some flexibility or if you need eyes on your little one for long hours I will also be able to do that. I do have 2 cats so I have pet gates up to separate my cats from any dogs. The dogs get free roaming of the living room which tends to be enough for my two dogs plus any friends they’ve had over. Routine in my home is key. At your home, I’ll stick to your routine and respect your house rules. Whatever you require, it will be respected.

“Django is delighted to have made 3 new friends, Sandra, Alfonso and their cute and rambunctious dog, Baxter. He was welcomed into their home like an old friend. They provided him everything a dog needs for contentment: attention, affection, stimulation, and snacks! He was his usual apprehensive self when he arrived but within 20 minutes he was chilled out on the sofa. We're both looking forward to his next visit. One more thing: thanks for sharing, Baxter!”
