She sent us SO MANY fun and cute pictures of Pebbles while we were out of the country that I felt super reassured. “There is no better feeling than coming back from a trip to find that your dog wants to stay and play some more - though it was sad to find out i was so easily replaced! Of course he was happy to see us but then pretty much went back to playing with the other dogs and then ran back over to Margaret to visit her. This was my experience when i came to pick up Snickers and this is definitely not always the case when i have had him stay elsewhere. Also, from what i can tell he seemed to have eaten all the food we had alloted and didn't seem especially hungry once we got home. All that to say that it points to him having a great and stress-free time. He was just tuckered out from playing so much :) This was our first stay with Margaret and I found her to be very responsive and clear in all our communications. Ours was a last minute request where we needed to go out of town for long weekend to finish up our move to LA. When our return trip got delayed, she accomodated a request to delay our pickup until the next day. She really removed all the stress of boarding our little pup . One the the perks of boarding with Margaret was the cast of playful dogs you might find in her shaded backyard/play area. She seems thoughtful in assessing how the various dogs will get along and has plans in place should any dogs need to be in separate areas. Mr. Snickers hasn't had a lot of opportunity to socialize with dogs since we moved so this was a real boon for us. Last point to add is that she regularly sent us updates with pix and videos so we had a sense of how it was going each day. In short, she does her best to make a home away from home for the dogs she cares for and I'd highly recommend her.”

“We needed to find a pet sitter for our dog, Pepi, for a month, a long time to be away. Pepi is a small terrier rescue who can be timid and has particular eating habits. She’s very calm and needs a low key environment. We spent much time reviewing sitters seeking a place where Pepi could live a similar lifestyle as she does at home. So lucky, we found Joyce! She has two small sweet dogs. After we met, I felt confident that Pepi would be in good hands along with good doggy company. During our trip, we received photos and videos daily, many times twice a day. I could see Pepi was happy and enjoyed the company of her two lovely dogs. I work part time so I’m available and usually at home for a large part of my week. When I am at work, I’m away from home for five hours only. One day out of the week, I work an eight hour shift. Outside of work, I love grocery shopping, going to the park, hiking, visiting friends, & hanging out w/ my partner. Your pup would be involved in all activities. :) I have a fenced yard that only I and my neighbor have access to. I also live a five minute walk to a dog and kid friendly neighborhood park. I would walk your pup 2-3 times daily. I love taking walks so your pup will definitely get some exercise. Play time is a must. I have puzzle toys, chew toys and squeaky toys for your pup to enjoy. Your pup is allowed to be on furniture and my bed (as long as they’ve had a bath) otherwise most do prefer their own bed and space. Food and water are replenished daily and medication is given if needed. Once its bed time, I make sure that your pup is close and comfortable.

In 2017 I met my first friendly street cat which sent me on a journey from “strict dog person” to “cat lady.” I have since adopted two cats, Bean and Raisin, and fostered more than a dozen adult cats and kittens. I also work closely with an organization doing TNR in my community--trapping neighborhood cats and spay/neutering them. I have a 2nd bedroom that I use as both my office and cat zone with toys if your cat needs his/her own space but am also a friendly home for a rambunctious cat. Bean is very passive and chill, while Raisin just wants to make friends and play. I’m a trusted cat mom and foster mom and will cuddle your fur babies just like you would if you were home with them! I know how important it is to a pet parent's peace of mind while away from their animal to know how they're doing so I always make sure I send pictures and regular updates. Please note that due to my cats, I only board other cats in my home—no dogs. And I only board one client at a time. Rover doesn't give the opportunity to specify this. I can do drop ins for other animals in your home no problem! I work from home and can occasionally have period of hiatus from work with lots of free time to dedicate to doing drop ins and being there for any boarding guests. I am very strict about indoors only for cats given my history with TNR. Also because I'm an experienced trapper, if somehow your cat escapes my care, I have the skills and equipment and knowledge to get them back for you. I don't leave boarding guests alone with my cats without supervision, even when sleeping, unless enough time has passed that I can trust them all together.

“There is no better feeling than coming back from a trip to find that your dog wants to stay and play some more - though it was sad to find out i was so easily replaced! Of course he was happy to see us but then pretty much went back to playing with the other dogs and then ran back over to Margaret to visit her. This was my experience when i came to pick up Snickers and this is definitely not always the case when i have had him stay elsewhere. Also, from what i can tell he seemed to have eaten all the food we had alloted and didn't seem especially hungry once we got home. All that to say that it points to him having a great and stress-free time. He was just tuckered out from playing so much :) This was our first stay with Margaret and I found her to be very responsive and clear in all our communications. Ours was a last minute request where we needed to go out of town for long weekend to finish up our move to LA. When our return trip got delayed, she accomodated a request to delay our pickup until the next day. She really removed all the stress of boarding our little pup . One the the perks of boarding with Margaret was the cast of playful dogs you might find in her shaded backyard/play area. She seems thoughtful in assessing how the various dogs will get along and has plans in place should any dogs need to be in separate areas. Mr. Snickers hasn't had a lot of opportunity to socialize with dogs since we moved so this was a real boon for us. Last point to add is that she regularly sent us updates with pix and videos so we had a sense of how it was going each day. In short, she does her best to make a home away from home for the dogs she cares for and I'd highly recommend her.”
“Wonderful dog loving family that took excellent care of my 2 dogs (Shiba and Cavalier King Charles) while I was away for 2 weeks. The dogs felt right at home, received lots of affection, and I received pics throughout their stay. Will definitely leave my dogs in their care again!”

“It’s always been very hard for us to leave our dog, but Catherine and Albert have made it so much easier for us to travel without worry! They truly go above and beyond to make him feel like he’s just part of their family. Our dog loves playing in their amazing backyard and walking in their beautiful and safe neighborhood! They also put a lot of thought and time into making sure the pack is a good fit so everyone has fun and is comfortable! Beyond being wonderful and caring with him, they were so kind when our flight was delayed this past trip. They stepped in to watch him for an extra night without a second thought, which was such a huge relief during a stressful travel day. “I cannot recommend Donghae enough!! This was my first extended trip leaving my pup, Milo, with someone outside of my family and was very anxious about being away. While my corgi is incredibly sweet, he can also be challenging to manage and not always easy to read in terms of his body language. However, Donghae approached Milo with remarkable patience and attentiveness and I was genuinely surprised to see Milo open up to a stranger in such a short period of time. What I especially appreciated were Donghae’s thoughtful daily updates. He kept me consistently informed with detailed reports on how Milo spent his day, along with plenty of photos that gave me a peace of mind and was able to tell that he was having a good time (too much fun)… Thank you again!!!”
“We had such a great experience with Adolfo! He took care of our two dogs, Ozzy (9) and Jessie (1), for a week while we were on vacation, and we couldn’t have asked for better care. He took them on walks, played with them, made sure they were fed, and even gave them their vitamins. Adolfo also kept us updated with pictures and videos, which gave us so much peace of mind while we were away. It was such a relief knowing our dogs were happy, safe, and being well taken care of. About: I have always had multiple cats since I was 10 years old and have 8 years of experience volunteering for cat and dog rescues! I currently have 6 cats and a husky/malamute mix, all rescues. Most recently, I fostered 2 husky/shepherd puppies and even puppy-proofed my yard for them to have more space to run around and play. In previous years, I have had a negative experience with having friends watch my pets, so I understand how important it is to find the right pet sitter. Pets are our children and should be treated as such. I would be honored to give your baby the best possible care and lots of love and attention! I am a full time dog and cat mom that works seasonally in entertainment, so my schedule is completely open for whatever you need! My dog gets 2 walks a day with potty breaks every 4 hours, even in the middle of the night. My cats receive a mix of dry and wet food twice a day with their water changed and litter scooped daily and plenty of cuddle time. I have a large fenced yard in a safe, suburban neighborhood for your dogs to play in. My home has multiple large rooms with cat trees and cat shelves that can be kept as a private oasis for your cat or cats if they are to stay with me.
