Availability
I currently work part time at a cafe four times a week. Please reach out if you need me to watch your pet for a few hours on days that I’m working, or if your pet is comfortable being left alone for up to 7 hours in a day (for overnights). I am also able to block some dates for pet sitting if I receive notice at least a week in advance. I will always try to work with you to find the best solution for your pet’s needs. I absolutely love keeping furry friends company on long walks, and can make sure that they come back both tired and happy! If you have a cat, they receive the same level of attention and enthusiasm to make sure they feel loved.

It would be great to know if your pet has any conditions or needs any specific medication, if there are commands they listen to and commands they don’t recognize or acknowledge, and if they have a unique habit that I need to be aware of and accommodate.
A typical day
I want to make sure that your pets are happy when I’m watching them. I try to tailor this experience to each pet, because not every dog or cat likes to have fun the same way. If your pet loves the outdoors and is leash trained, I’m excited to go on walks in their favorite park or around the block. If they love running or playing with toys, I make sure they get that physical and mental stimulation in spacious fields. If they’re trying to learn a new command or fun trick, I’m more than willing to continue that training in your absence. If they’re cuddly homebodies that like to watch the animals on TV, I’m down to snuggle up for a movie night.

In a nutshell: I have cared for cats and dogs on Rover for 3 years and off Rover much longer! I recently moved to LA from DC and am excited to bring my services to pet parents in the area. With me, your fur baby will be happy and well cared for and your home will be just as clean as you left it :) More Info: I have always loved animals, and grew up feeding and playing with the dogs and cats living in my neighborhood. My first full-time experience caring for a house pet was when my best friend brought home a Shepherd puppy in 2022. Since then, I have walked, fed and helped train her. Towards the end of 2022, I also stayed with a rescue cat and patiently earned her trust through games and treats. If you’re looking for a pet sitter to keep your dog or cat content and out of trouble while you’re out of town, look no further!

Prabha was beyond awesome!! I have a very social, older cat who requires attention akin to a dog. Prabha was extremely communicative, sent multiple pics and updates throughout the day. It was clear from the start how much she cares about animals and about taking care of your pet as if they were her own. Will absolutely be working with her again and would recommend her to anyone looking for pet care!
Prabha did a great job taking care of Lily, and make sure to take care of things right away when Lily had a surprise health issue!!
Prabha was absolutely fantastic this past weekend! From the very first meet&greet, I could tell she was incredibly organized and detail oriented she asked thoughtful questions that gave me a lot of confidence, especially since I have an elderly cat who needs extra care. While I was away, she was super responsive and communicative. She kept me updated throughout the entire weekend with frequent messages and lots of photos, which really put me at ease. It was clear my cat was getting plenty of love, attention, and cuddles. On top of that, she left my home in pristine condition. I truly couldn’t have asked for a better experience. I would absolutely recommend Prabha to anyone looking for a reliable, caring, and thorough pet sitter!
