About: My name is Vanessa, and I am so thankful to hopefully be given the privilege to take care of your beloved pet and your home while you are away. I have lived in California for roughly thirty years, primarily in Los Angeles, but have lived in the Bay Area as well. I am a writer, work as a family assistant and generally a loving care taker to friends, family and neighbors alike. I love dogs. There, I said it! I lost my dog of 15 years Noe, in January 2024 and I miss him every day. I will care for your dog with all of my heart as I did for Noe. You can be sure that they will be loved, looked after as you would like them to be, and will be happy in your absence. I will provide daily "pup-dates" so you can see how much fun your missing out on! I am communicative, consistent and most importantly, patient as well as kind. About: Native of Istanbul, aka the cat capital of the world, I’ve always been surrounded with street animals. Growing up, I had a rabbit (!), and while in college, my roommate and I secretly adopted a cat (who now continues to live with my roommate in NYC!) I’ve always been the one to volunteer to look after pets whenever friends are out of town. I recently started working from home in my spacious apartment right next to Griffith Park. And of course… lots of love, treats and comfort! My home is completely fenced and gated with a large play area and turfed yard. Have taken care of all ages, administered oral and subcutaneous and even changed diapers on senior pups. My dogs are super dog friendly but if your pup needs his/her own space I can provide a separate area for them.
