I recently completed a service year program in Los Angeles and am looking for part time or full time work. This means that my schedule is flexible and can accommodate whatever times work best for you and your pet. I live in DTLA and have easy access to the Metro and the interstate!

I make sure to follow the schedule decided with the pet owner (eg usual time for meals and walks) to minimize any disruption to the pet's regular day with the owner.

I think it is important to know aspects of the pet's personality that may impact every day care. This can include info such as if the pet has storm anxiety or if they know how to get into cabinets if not properly closed.
A typical day
I love play time with pets! I think it is important to provide enrichment to any animal's day so playing with different toys and treats (that are preapproved by the owner) is one of my favorite things to do! I'll make sure to provide as much play time as possible during my visits.

Pet care experience
I have been caring for animals since I got my first dog when I was 6 and began pet sitting for family, friends, and neighbors when I was 11. I’ve worked with dogs of all shapes and sizes and needs. I have a cat of my own, as well. Previously, I worked at a nature museum and reptile pet store which has given me experience working with pets of all kinds such as guinea pigs, bearded dragons, snakes, and more. I can't wait to meet your pet!

I had a friend recommend Rover, as I was leaving for Ireland for 10 days, I was struggling to find someone trustworthy to take care of my pets.
