“we absolutely loved having our Bean stay with Sheila! she was patient with him as he adjusted to staying with someone new since he does have some anxiety. she spoiled him with boiled chicken, cheese, and lots of love. Sheila treated our dog like he was her own 🥰”

“Molly is awesome! Our dog stayed with her for a week and Molly was so communicative and sent frequent photos and updates throughout. We were able to really enjoy our trip knowing she was in such good hands. Our dog looked like she was having a blast playing with Molly’s sweet dogs and she got so much love and cuddles from Molly.”

“I left my dog Lulu with Laura for the weekend and she took great care of her! She was also very flexible and let us extend the stay for 1 night. I highly recommend Laura!”

“I had the best experience with Brittany! I was really nervous to leave my dog for so many days because it was his first time being boarded, but Brittany made the whole thing so seamless. Her communication was great and she sent plenty of pictures. She did great with giving my dog his daily meds and gave me so much peace of mind while I was gone. I Highly recommend!!❤️”

“I already rebooked with Zuleyma because that's how amazing she was with my tripod Charlotte. She was great about sending updates, whether they were in photo or message form, I was always in the loop. I feel BEYOND comfortable with her taking care of my girl while I'm traveling, and I am so thankful to have connected with her. As dog parents we know how important it is to find someone you can trust with your baby while we are away, and Zuleyma is exactly what I've been looking for. Charlotte absolutely adores her!!! Normally after I pick Charlotte up from being away even for a few hours, she cries with excitement in the car ride home. Not a peep from Charlotte after five days apart, that's when I knew she had the best time! THANK YOU SO SO MUCH ZULEYMA! I can't wait for Charlotte to continue to be in your care when I'm away!!!”

“Katy was so accommodating and kind! She has a great yard for dogs and my dogs came back looking happy and well fed! She's great at sending pics/videos. I'd highly recommend her to anyone!”

“Jianing was sooo kind and good at taking care of Khichu. My cat is still young and is shy but Jianing was able to accommodate and take care of Khichu so well. I appreciate how much care Jianing gave and also all the updates with photos and videos. Made me feel at ease while I was away. Thank you so much. Will for sure book again.”

“Donghae was an amazing, kind, and caring sitter. He kept me constantly updated, took Abby on walks all over LA, and even gave her a new toy and treats to take home. I would absolutely book him again.”

“Lacey was amazing with Noosha! She kept me updated with photos and took her on all sorts of adventures while I was on travel. Treated her like her own. Thanks Lacey!”

“My husband and I found out last minute we were going on a trip that didn’t allow dogs. Through a recommendation of a family member. We found Rover. We were very skeptical at first. You never know how these apps will be and if you are like us, our pets are family. After scrolling through, we found Shontel. We reviewed her profile and fell in love immediately. She has great reviews and lots of returning customers. We requested for her to watch our little basil three days before our trip. She responded immediately saying she freed her schedule and is able to take her in. Not only was she kind and caring. She was super professional. When we went to pick up our little girl we could see how much she had fallen in love with Shontel. We are so relieved we found someone we can trust to watch our girl. We will most definitely be reaching out to Shontel next time we have a trip. It was worth every penny to have our little dog return safely.”

“We rescued our little pup about nine months ago and she has never had a night away from us. We wanted Jess and Max for her first night away, and it went beautifully. Our puppy is so happy and comfortable with them. They gave us constant updates, and let us know how she was doing. We can now comfortably plan more nights away because we know that our little fur baby is so happy with Jess and Max.”

“Mollie is the best! Excellent communication, super flexible, sends great pics and — most importantly — takes such good care of Harley. Mollie is a true animal lover and I’d recommend her to anyone who’s looking for an excellent pet-sitter.”

“Deanna was phenomenal! She helped me when I was in a pickle and needed a dog sitter on very short notice. Not only was she willing, she was incredibly accommodating, kind, and communicated regularly with updates throughout my dog’s stay. I picked up a very happy pup who’s acting like his usual self. I can’t thank Deanna enough!”

About: I’ve had dogs my entire life, including many many guests, and I treat every animal in my house like family. I know that every guest needs something different and I put real effort into making sure they are comfortable and HAPPY. I do not believe in negative reinforcement, and I focus on building trust through patience. I know that settling into a new home can be overwhelming for some pups. To make this easy, my house is set up to cater to as many different needs as possible. I have a dedicated room (my gym) for dogs that need to be alone and watch Bluey on the TV in there, but I prefer to make my guests comfortable to lounge on the many dog beds I have scattered around the house. Also, my home features solid flooring, so I have 0 issue with catering to nerves while your fur baby is settling in. I do my best to make them comfortable while they are in a temporary new pack. I also have crates available if your dog finds comfort in that. Their choice. But otherwise, they have the run of the place just like any loved family animal should. I have a secure fenced yard and I never leave my guests outside even for a short time, and then they are back inside with me. I also play, however much your fur baby wants to. Fetch, soccer, whatever makes them happy. This is the best part of this job. My goal is to provide a calm, affectionate environment where your dog feels safe, understood, and truly at home while you’re away. I work as a consultant with a flexible schedule, which means I am home and available for my guests throughout the day. My routine is built around the dogs—we do morning yard time, afternoon play sessions (soccer and fetch are favorites), and plenty of lounging in between. Because I’m based at home, I can provide the consistent supervision and companionship that helps dogs feel secure when they are in a new space without their humans. Your dog’s safety and comfort are my top priorities. I have a fully secured, fenced yard for outdoor play, but I never leave guests unattended outside; we go out together and come back in together. Inside, my home is designed for dogs, featuring solid flooring for easy cleanup and a dedicated room with Bluey on TV for pups who need a break. Whether your dog prefers to snuggle on one of the many beds scattered around or on the couch or in an open crate, I happily accommodate their needs.
“This is my 2nd booking. My dog absolutely loves and gets excited when he see’s Shardae. I have found his forever sitter. He is well taken care of and happy when he comes home! I appreciate you!”

About: Hi! I'm Kelly. I've had dogs in my life for as long as I can remember, ever since my family adopted our first dog when I was 5 years old. Over the years, I've shared my life with all kinds of dogs, from my tiny Miniature Yorkie to my big 100-pound Shepherd mix. I've fostered dogs, dog-sat for friends and family, and spent countless hours learning about positive reinforcement training through private lessons and hands-on experience. I know how hard it can be to leave your dog behind when you travel because I've been there myself. Whenever I boarded my own dogs, all I wanted was to know they were safe, happy, loved, and getting plenty of attention. That's exactly the kind of experience I hope to give both you and your pup. My home is fully fenced with a large front yard and backyard where dogs can run, play, explore, or simply relax in the sunshine. I even built a dedicated potty area for my own dogs, which many visiting pups quickly figure out. My dogs passed away a few years ago, and I genuinely miss having dogs around the house. I work from home as a freelance designer, so I'm home throughout the day and enjoy having a furry coworker by my side. Whether your dog loves walks, fetch, belly rubs, naps on the couch, or simply being near people, they'll get plenty of attention and companionship while they're here. I also have an almost 6-year-old daughter who has grown up around dogs her entire life. She's gentle, respectful, and absolutely adores them. One of her favorite things to do is sit beside them and read stories. Because our home includes a young child, I can only host dogs that are comfortable around children, and all interactions are always supervised by me. My goal is simple: to make your dog feel safe, loved, and right at home while you're away. I'm currently freelancing as a designer, so I spend most of my day at home. After I drop my daughter off at school each morning, I'm back home for the day, which means your pup won't be sitting around waiting for someone to come home from work. Whether we're hanging out in the yard, going for a walk, playing fetch, or just keeping each other company while I work, I genuinely love having dogs around and spending time with them. Your dog's safety and comfort are my top priorities. My home is fully fenced with a large front yard and backyard, and all outdoor time is supervised. Dogs are never left outside unattended and will always have access to a clean, comfortable indoor space to relax and feel at home. Before each stay, I like to learn about your dog's routine, personality, preferences, and any special needs so I can provide care that's as close to home as possible. Whether that means sticking to a feeding schedule, administering medication, reinforcing training, or making time for extra walks and play, I'm happy to accommodate. As a lifelong dog owner with experience fostering, dog sitting, and positive reinforcement training, I understand that every dog is different. My goal is to create a calm, safe, loving environment where your dog feels comfortable, secure, and well cared for while you're away. I'll also keep you updated with regular photos and messages so you can relax knowing your pup is in good hands. *Since our home includes a 6-year-old, I can only accommodate dogs that are friendly and comfortable around children.

Molly took such amazing care of our senior dog who has some dietary and medication/supplement quirks. She’s incredibly commutative and has such a warm and loving setup for the pups at her place. We’re so glad we found her for our dog and will definitely be working with her again!

This was my first time using Rover, and Ashley made the experience easy and stress-free. Sugar stayed in her home and seemed to adjust really well. Ashley sent a photo or video update every day, which gave me peace of mind while I was away. From the updates, it was clear Sugar was comfortable, happy, and enjoying herself. Ashley was communicative and caring, and I would definitely book with her again.

Janae’s a gem of a lady and a sitter for anyone who seeks her help! She cared for my dog just like it was Her own! It was my first time to leave my dog with a stranger For a week, but as soon as I saw her very kind demeanor and smile I was at ease, so was Emi (my dog)! She always responded to my emails as soon as she could with pictures. I am so happy I’ve found her, and also should Rover! Thank you again Janae, and Rover for introducing her to Us! Kindly, Ali P

Natalie and her family (including her 3 lovely daughters) took such great care of our two dogs. It can be hard to find a sitter given our dog’s special needs (blind, requires medications 2x day, wears diapers) but Natalie and her family gave us such peace of mind!
Kenneth and his whole family took amazing care of our active 2-year old, Pony. He invited us over in advance for a quick meet up to see the house and yard and for a chance for his wife and sons to interact with our dog - though a lot of sitters don't require this, I definitely appreciate the extra time and attention to make sure the arrangement is good for both parties! From the looks of it, Pony had a marvelous two days being part of the family. Kenneth and Manya sent videos of Ponyboy trying to catch baseballs and getting walks through the neighborhood.

Wooyoung was great with our dog, Captain. He seemed genuinely happy in her photo/video updates and was happy when we picked him up. Wooyoung followed our care plan and seemed to help our pup keep as much of his routine as possible for a smooth stay. Highly recommend.
