“I loved meeting Sheila. She has a great place. I felt comfortable leaving my Allie with her while on vacation. She sent videos and updates. Such a blessing to not have to worry. Highly recommend boarding with Sheila.”

“Molly was awesome taking care of our dog ; she kept us informed with updates and pictures, and made us feel comfortable while we were out of town. I will definitely book Molly for our dog sitting.”

“Natalie is so patient and wonderful with Kudra, we will absolutely use her whenever we need a sitter. She’s also very communicative and provides lots of updates and photos, which we appreciate. Highly recommend!”

“Salud did such a great job with our elderly dog. Even though Maggie isn't very mobile, Salud still made sure to give her some outdoor time. Maggie seemed in better spirits when we picked her up than when we dropped her off.”

“Jianing takes excellent care of my pup and always sends cute pictures! She is very communicative and a great sitter and I will continue to board with her whenever possible.”

“We love her! She is amazing and went above and beyond. Her family is wonderful and my dog was very happy and you could tell how much she enjoyed her stay. I will always use Ebeny and recommend her for any pet. I felt safe knowing my baby was well taken care of and could tell she was being loved while I had to be away.”

“I was so nervous about using Rover for my first time. Sabrina really helped me feel at ease with her comfortability and communication while I was gone. I would choose her every time to watch my kitty!”

“Lacey was amazing with Noosha! She kept me updated with photos and took her on all sorts of adventures while I was on travel. Treated her like her own. Thanks Lacey!”

“Melanie was AMAZING! I am so happy to have found her. It’s always a little unsettling leaving your dog behind on vacation, but knowing she was with Melanie (and basically on vacation herself!) put us at so much ease. Zoe had so many great adventures during her 1-week stay, from pack walks in the hills to the beach and beyond. Melanie and her family treated Zoe like a member of their family, which made us so happy. Melanie was super communicative and sent photos of their adventures daily. We’ll definitely be taking Zoe back to Melanie next time we need someone to look after her!”

About: I’ve been an animal lover for as long as I can remember! I currently share my home with two cats and one happy dog, so I know how much love and attention our pets need every day. I treat every pet like they’re my own. I’ve helped care for friends’ and neighbors’ pets and I always make sure each one feels safe. I understand that every animal has their own personality and preferences, and I take the time to get to know them so they can enjoy every visit or walk. Your pets deserve someone who’s reliable, gentle, and genuinely cares and that’s what I aim to provide every time I visit. I am currently pet sitting full time, so I am available daily to either drop in or sit the pets. I can be flexible in terms of time. I live in a 2 bedroom house with a fully fenced yard. The yard is a good size for dogs to run around and play. The house is big enough even for the bigger dogs to comfortably walk around and find a spot they like. I understand how anxious it could be to leave your pets with a sitter and I will always do my best to communicate and accommodate as much as I can.
“Jess and Max were amazing. They asked great questions to make sure they were taking care of Rumble as we would. And they were prepared for Rumble's anxieties, and she adjusted so well with them. I hope we are lucky to have Jess and Max care for Rumble again!”

“I cannot recommend Donghae enough!! This was my first extended trip leaving my pup, Milo, with someone outside of my family and was very anxious about being away. While my corgi is incredibly sweet, he can also be challenging to manage and not always easy to read in terms of his body language. However, Donghae approached Milo with remarkable patience and attentiveness and I was genuinely surprised to see Milo open up to a stranger in such a short period of time. What I especially appreciated were Donghae’s thoughtful daily updates. He kept me consistently informed with detailed reports on how Milo spent his day, along with plenty of photos that gave me a peace of mind and was able to tell that he was having a good time (too much fun)… Thank you again!!!”

“My Jodi girl is a gentle senior American Pit Bull Terrier. She is extremely insecure and timid. Jodi warmed up to Laura and even gave her kisses. Laura took very good care of her and sent daily updates with photos.”

“Yana was a wonderful place to have Luna stay while we went away on vacation. I really appreciated her time spent with Luna knowing that our pup was receiving love and care. She shared photos and updates and was also super responsive during booking and during the boarding. We got to do a meet and greet the weekend beforehand to know that our pup was a good fit for them and her stay. If you're looking for a loving home to leave your pup while you go away, I'd recommend Yana 100%”

“Oliver was too excited to go off with Jennifer. You would think he knew her all of his life! She made sure he felt right at home, took great care of him and stayed in communication with me with texts and photos. I will definitely book her again.”

About: I've been looking after my friends pets for over 15 years. I have lots of experience with cats, dogs and mixed pet households. I am comfortable administering medicine, vet trips, emergency messes, and more. As far as your home, I will treat it as my own and leave it better than I found if at all possible. As a 20+ year photographer I also offer the option of making some cute portraits of your pets while I care for them, these are intimate and high quality from a professional artist and many pet owners cherish these images. Inquire if interested! I am a freelance artist and contract-worker. Most of my work these days is remote, which means I follow my own routines each day of waking up around 5am, and doing activities and walks. I know how to find a pet's rhythm and communicate with them about their needs. I live inside of a secure apt building that is completely locked off and fenced in with only a few other small dogs on the premises who usually stay indoors. I also make daily walks to the park in the 3-mile range.
About: Hi there! Huge fan of furry, four-legged friends here. I have 9 years cumulative experience working directly with dogs in a doggy daycare setting as well as through the Wag! app(cats too!). My experience with animal care in general extends back to since I was a young adult caring for family pets and neighbors’ pets. Most of those animals were cats and dogs, though I did also care for rabbits and reptiles. I’m excited to be here and looking forward to meeting new people and animals through this platform! :) In addition to pet care, I have one job that requires me to be away from home on Mondays from 11am-4pm and every other Wednesday(usually 1-3pm but timing flexible). Beyond that, I have some scheduled and scattered dog walks throughout the week, so I am able to pop back and forth frequently to check in on boarded animals that might be staying over! I have a gated yard, large kennel, dog bed, and tons of toys, treats, and bowls on site to accommodate your pup(s) or cat(s)! I don’t have any animals of my own at the moment, though I do have a decent number of plant babies in the house and yard. I also have a doggy first aid kit and I am planning on getting certified for CPR!

“April & Nathan were beyond expectations! Such a wonderful couple who really understand all types of dogs. They are so attentive, so patient, and so loving as people and dog sitters. My pup shadow is a reactive dog and tested their patience a few times and they remained calm cool and collected throughout the stay. They are unmatched in my opinion and I would bring shadow back to them a million times over. Couldn’t recommend them more!”

South Los Angeles dog parents share their Rover experiences
Lacey was great with Duffy, who got along really well with her dog, Noosha. Lacey sent multiple update photos a day and answered all of our questions in a timely manner. Duffy loved cuddling with her and Noosha and loved running around her yard. We would definitely book again with her.

Tatiana was amazing with my 4 year old, high energy pup, Shorty! She took her on daily outings and long walks. Tatiana kept in touch regularly and was easy to communicate with for arrival/departure times, etc. She also lives in a spacious home with a yard. 10/10 recommend Tatiana and look forward to seeing her next time!

Olivia had another wonderful time with Brenda and David! She was happy to see them when she arrived, and even went to say goodbye to both of them when I went to pick her up. She definitely felt right at home and was treated very well! Brenda and David sent us constant updates and photos, and it was clear just how comfortable and settled in she was. We were so happy to see our "four-paws daughter" being looked after so well!

This was my first time leaving my pup with a Rover sitter in LA and Wooyoung was so amazing! I had to travel for work last minute and she was so accommodating and made me feel confident that Raji would be in good care. My pup can be a bit anxious upon initial interaction and she made him feel so comfortable and sent me multiple updates throughout his visit which I really appreciated! Raji looks forward to visiting again soon ☺️

April and Nathan are absolute angels. Charlie has been staying with them for many years and they are the best. As my Charlie gets older, it's harder to leave him and I know he will always be loved and cared for. They are so patient and sweet with him. Can't express my gratitude enough.

Bridgette is amazing!! So glad we met her; she took care of my dog who just had surgery and has separation issues for three days… Bridgette was able to get him to settle down, administer medication, and provide many walks, play time, and snuggles on the bed. She also provided many photos and videos along with updates on how he was doing. I could not ask for a better experience- he even gave her a kiss goodbye! We will definitely be booking with Bridgette again sometime. Thank you again!
