My days naturally revolve around my dogs, with regular walks, potty breaks, and outdoor time throughout the day. Because I work part time with a flexible schedule, I'm able to give guest dogs plenty of attention and tailor the day to each dog's personality, energy level, and needs. 🐶 Boutique boarding. I intentionally keep boarding small, typically hosting just one family's dogs at a time so every pup receives plenty of individual attention. I occasionally make exceptions for returning guests. 🌿 Private rooftop retreat with lounge seating, a shade umbrella, and a designated potty area. 🌳 Shaded ground level patio for cool, comfortable outdoor breaks on warm LA days. ☀️ Secure balcony off the living room and kitchen where pups can relax, sunbathe, people watch, and enjoy fresh air. 🛋️ Dogs are family here. They’re welcome on the couch and in bed, with pet stairs to help little pups get up and down safely. There are dog beds throughout the house and two always-open bedside crates. 🍽️ Stress free mealtimes. My dogs eat in their crates during meals so guest dogs can enjoy their meals at their own pace. The crates stay open the rest of the day as cozy hangout spots, and guest dogs are never crated unless requested by their owner. 🚪 Safety and comfort come first. Gates help keep senior pups away from the stairs and allow dogs to stay on separate floors when needed. Pee pads are available on every floor for puppies, seniors, and dogs who already use them. 🎥 A camera helps me keep an eye on everyone whenever I briefly step out. 📸 Photo updates are provided throughout your pup’s stay so you can see how they’re doing.

Information Robin R. would like to know about your pet

Please let me know about any dietary restrictions, allergies, medications, or other important care instructions before your dog’s stay. If your dog can’t have treats, just let me know. Otherwise, I love rewarding good behavior with owner approved treats when appropriate, and it usually leads to a few adorable photo opportunities too!

A typical day

We start the day with a rooftop potty break, followed by a neighborhood walk tailored to each dog's energy level and needs. After breakfast, dogs can play with toys, enjoy plenty of attention, hang out on the balcony, relax on the couch, or claim one of the many cozy dog beds throughout the house. Later, we head out for another walk or spend time on the shaded ground-level patio when the pavement is too hot for a comfortable walk. Afternoons often include rooftop time for sunbathing, sniffing around, playing, or relaxing in the shade. After dinner, we go for another walk before winding down with more playtime, cuddles, or quiet couch time. Everyone gets one final rooftop potty break before settling in comfortably for the night.

Pet care experience

As a lifelong dog lover and experienced dog sitter, I've cared for dogs of all ages, sizes, and personalities. I'm especially comfortable with senior dogs and pups who need a little extra patience or time to settle into a new environment.

Robin has been wonderful with Beanie! She takes great care of her, always keeps me updated with pictures (which I really appreciate), and gives me peace of mind while I’m away. Beanie knows her well and I completely trust her with my girl. I’ll definitely continue booking with Robin and highly recommend her! :)

Robin was able to walk my dog with barely any notice, which was a massive life saver! She did great with my pup and I'd book again. 10/10 recommend.

Robin is the best! Our dog is older and can be a little anxious, but he loves staying with her and always comes home happy and tired. Robin is very responsive and sends regular photo updates, so we know everything is going well. We used Robin exclusively for pet sitting throughout the four years we lived in LA including for longer trips, and she was amazing every time. We are so grateful for the great care she provides and highly recommend her.
